Great location, close to the central area of Surfers Paradise with all the shops and restaurants. The apartment was fairly clean upon our arrival and it was more spacious than expected.

We were asked to clean the apartment and were threatened that if we don’t, we might be charged extra. This was extremely weird for us as it is a hotel providing a service for the guests, not the other way around :) cleaning by the staff should be included in the charges as in every other hotel all over the world….

The views and the location were excellent.

The apartment was very dated and in need of a good decor.. The size was ok, but overall, I was quite disappointed with my apartment... The receptionist was pleasant .. The whole building needs a good revamp..

I travelled with my family. We were in town for a competition held at the Mantra on View, just across the street, and the apartment's location was perfect. It was close to the venue, beach, shops, supermarkets and restaurants, and the apartment amenities were excellent. The apartment was clean and in good condition, with great views out to the ocean. No hassle check-in and check-out.

No beach towels were provided, which was surprising for a beachfront accommodation. Also, the single-pane windows allowed all the noise from cars and parties down on the Esplanade to travel through the apartment, making it hard to get a good night's sleep.

The location was great. The beach was across the road right with a pedestrian crossing. Walking distance to many shops and cafes including Cavill Street. The unit had everything needed, including plastic plates and cups for our son. The balcony was fantastic being able to safely sit outside and breathe in the fresh air while looking out over the beach and listening to the waves. Very little noise inside despite the location (a couple of loud cars every so often).

There was no aircon in the bedroom. With the small apartment it was okay with the big one in the loungeroom but it often meant our son was cold as we were trying to cool the bedroom down. On the last day the neighbours started smoking on their balcony which ruined the use of our balcony.

A very modern and classy deluxe apartment with an excellent ocean view. Walking distance to what we wanted to do while on the GC. Kitchen actually had everything you could need (and plenty of it) while all being clean and fairly new appliances and utensils, etc. Definitely the little things like ceiling fans, plenty of toilet paper, dishwasher tablet for each day we were there, a container of washing powder, liquid hand wash in both bathrooms, etc.

While it was definitely cleaner than most hotels/apartments, it could do with a spring clean / more thorough clean in the not so obvious places. That is if I HAD to pick something and the only thing I can think of. Definitely not a deal breaker and I would stay here again in a heart beat.

The view of the beach was great. The balcony was lovely looking over the grass then over to the beach. We could watch the sun rise and saw a few whales go by. The swimming pool was good, the tennis court was fun to play on. The kitchen was good so we could cook meals. It was great to have a laundry, very good laundry facilities and washing powder provided. The large bed was very comfortable. There was plenty of wardrobe space. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Maybe some hooks to hang up bath towels in the bathroom.

Location and the view

On our invoice we had 2 adults and a child aged 6 down for the stay. When we arrived we were pretty disappointed to see one king bed. I don’t go on a holiday to sleep on a couch or for my child to. I also don’t share a bed with my son at home so wouldn’t start on a holiday either. When we went to reception we were told that it would be an extra $50 p/n to make up the extra bed even though I had told you when I made the booking about how many people would in the room and that’s what I was quoted for. Sleeping on a couch when we paid $1200 for the week was disappointing

This apartment building is an amazing remainder from a time when going up in the buildings lift didn't make your ears pop. A laid back friendly place, right on the beach and one street shy of cavill ave the Olympus apartments have seen the Gold Coast grow from its infanthood and its stills ranks proudly amongst its shiny, contemporaries. Everything in the apartment was clean, nothing was broken the doors, kettle, air con, washer and dryer and gave quality performances but the best bit... The balcony. To be able to sit comfortably with a friend on the balcony overlooking the water without knuckles gripped white on the arm rests of chairs everytime the wind blows, that to me, is truely a great base to a perfectly relaxing holiday.

It is a little dated, the water mixers could do their job a bit better.

Staying at the service apartment made our holiday extra memorable. The apartment was beautifully decorated, and the view from the window was stunning, especially at sunrise. The nearby restaurants and cafes were a delight, and the apartment’s central location saved us a lot of travel time. The management was quick to respond to any requests. We had a wonderful time and would definitely come back

The Wi-Fi connection was bit poor & sofa could be change.

The shower and bathroom were very crammed and not much room To put things Hallway smelt a bit mildewy
