I have stayed in this hotel many times now because they got new management and Dave has really cleaned it up. Awesome hotel, with exceptional staff. Very convenient to anything you will need. The location could not be better.

I think a lot of people are forgetting that you do get what you pay for and for the price you pay - for the amount you pay, this is a good option. The beds are reasonably comfortable and the room is neat and tidy. The shower has warm running water and there is tea and coffee avaliable in the room with a kettle available to use. The fridge is small but perfect for storing small things in. There is also a TV in the room, small two person couch and also a table and chairs. The room is comfortable for a short stay and staff are very helpful - also welcoming at the front desk. The place is central and due to this everything is easily in walking distance. I stayed on the higher levels so the noise level weren't too bad - you can still occassionally hear the drunk people outside, however, when staying close to Hindley this should be expected. The Cosmo do also have the option to pay for cheaper parking at Hindley St Wilson Car Park for unlimited entry in and out for up to 72 hours - I paid $66 for $72.00

Depending on the other guests that stay, the hallway can occassionally have a stench of weed. However, on this, the door is thick enough to block the smell from entering your room. The double bed is two large singles against one another so if you do tend to sleep more towards the middle you may fall between the crack.

I don’t understand the low rating for this hotel because I had an exceptional stay. It does not deserve its low rating in my opinion and you shouldn’t always trust other reviews. I’m a level 3 genius booking.com member and of all the 3 star hotels I have stayed in this one falls into my top 10. The location is perfect in central CBD opposite Adelaide train station. Can’t ask for a better location, the room was very big and contained all the necessities including a kitchenette fully equipped, an ironing board and iron. Staff were extremely friendly, always greeted me with a smile and light conversation. If you want an affordable room in Adelaide CBD then stay here. Don’t expect luxury but definitely expect comfort

Facilities were a little outdated but they were more than enough for a comfortable above average stay!

When I got there in early evening my room was not cleaned stained sheets and left over take away. I went to the reception intercom as no staff on duty made my feeling known. Went out came back an hour later. Got another room that was ok bed big n comfy good shower WiFi and air on. So was pleased

No staff on reception most of time was there intercom wasn’t great

The manager and staff were fantastic . All had a caring and can-do approach and nothing was too much trouble at any time of day. As a stranger to Adelaide they were all very thoughtful and caring of me ensuring I enjoyed a wonderful time. When I extended my stay that was a seamless process. If I return to Adelaide I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. Close to great shops, restaurants and bus routes- I couldn't have wanted for more.

Location was great for what we needed. Hotel advised us ahead of time about Parking options. Although hotel is in a busy area and just off Hindley st with a lot of the city’s local “characters” around there was either someone at the front desk or the door was locked and only guests staying there could get in so we felt quite safe. Staff were friendly and helpful, Dave the Manager was always happy to help with recommendations and local information. He even gave us Metro Cards for the tram & buses to use that saved us $7 Even though the hotel is old and is rated 3 stars we read the reviews and knew what we were in for. Luckily we didn’t have any issues and the room was clean and the beds comfortable. Great location, great staff , great price. Will definitely book again next time we’re in Adelaide

Nothing. People need to read the reviews. It’s in the heart of the city so yes it can be noisy. It’s 3 stars you get what you pay for.

The position was great. The room was older but had been renovated. We could not complain about anything for the time we were there

Car parking voucher was a little misleading. Thinking we would naturally pay the $25 per day parking from a voucher supplied by the hotel. but when we arrived there were no vouchers. So for the first day cost us $58. For parking. We understood no parking within the Hotel.

A great place. It's not modern but value for money. I would happily stay over and over again. I'm looking for a clean bed and separate bathroom. They cater to all sizes of travellers. If you want perfection this is not the place for you. If you want a safe place, cheaper than others. This is it.

Close to trams to get to ice Arena and close to shops and major food outlets.

That you could make food up in the room. You could wash clothes on site. When told staff about any problems they would go out of their way to get it sorted.

A room with an air-con. Nice comfy beds.

Didn't like that late night early hours noise from the street. The fact that the Wi-fi kept cutting in & out. No room service.
