We love the location and the accommodation itself. The view from the bedroom to the lounge area was just perfect! It is easy to walk to the shops and restaurants nearby.

Not a complaint or not did not like it, but I suppose it would be best to put knives in the kitchen which is necessary when preparing your meals. the only knives available were steak knives. And a little cleaning (dust, spider webs). These things mentioned did not affect our entire stay. I'm certain that they're more than happy to get it all sorted out. They were lovely hosts and very accommodating. We will absolutely be back when I get a chance to visit Hahndorf again.

I loved the convenience of everything supplied at the property. From kitchen appliances, bbq outside and coffee and tea varieties to the toiletries there was a lot more choice and value for money. The toiletries were especially handy as a female traveller there’s always some item we forget and they had all of the basics covered. The gardens are so serene and beautiful it feels like a true retreat to stay here and would love to visit again.

The only thing I disliked was the smell of chicken manure in the bathroom/bedroom area of the cottage. I’m unsure what was causing it but seemed like maybe the floor drain in the bathroom.

Very comfortable & clean & absolutely everything you could need was provided. The owner fully explained everything to us when we arrived. The bed was really comfortable & had an electric blanket for the chilly nights. A very easy walk into all the action of Hahndorf. Lovely gardens surrounded the property & we had visits from many birds Everything was fantastic & the owner had obviously put a lot of thought into making our stay as comfortable as possible

The location of this property was in a more convenient place than I realised. It's literally a 3-minute walk from the main street of Hahndorf, with a lovely little cafe at the end of the road, making breakfast and coffee extremely easy to access. The accommodation itself had everything we needed. The bed was comfy, which is always important. The view from the bedroom balcony is lovely, and it was nice to watch the fog roll out in the mornings. The kitchen had everything you would ever need if you were looking to cook your own meals whilst staying. The bathroom had the added touches of a towel heating rack, make-up remover wipes, and a hair dryer, which i felt was a convenient touch. I also loved that the towels were a great size and NOT white! 🤣 All in all, we loved our stay here and would definitely come back and stay again.

It could do with a little more up dating and some maintenance. Paying a bit more attention to detail can make all the difference, for example, cleaning the windows, presentation, etc, but none of that impacted our stay. If I could have changed anything, it would have been to have a warmer, thicker quilt that fit in the quilt cover, so I wasn't chasing warmth during the night. However, I just turned the heating on.

Everything. Fabulous room with fully equipped kitchen and lovely bathroom. Watch the birds in the amazing garden from the balcony with morning plunger coffee thoughtfully provided by the wonderful host Vanessa. Quiet place - far enough from town to be peaceful, but close enough to walk Everything works, and spotlessly clean. Vanessa has thought of everything. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Kitchen was very well equipped with everything you would need to be self sufficient and some staples were included which was wonderful. Instructions for appliance use were excellent. Heating very effective. Seating and beds were very comfortable and TV was a good size. We stayed at Amble for a week and were delighted with our choice. Owners were most welcoming.

Location was perfect. Easy to get to from Adelaide. Beautiful country drives to Big Rocking Horse and Barossa Valley. Perfect location for exploring Hahndorf. Quiet at night for sleeping (and bed was very comfortable too). Room was spacious and had everything we needed.

Having to leave early on our last day due to flight issues with jetstar. Missed out on a last day lie in 😂

We had a perfect stay at The Amble. The space was modern, comfortable, and spacious, with everything we could possibly need. We loved the views from the balcony, overlooking horses, cockatoos, and beautiful trees. The property is located on a quiet, charming street, just minutes by foot from the start of the Hahndorf strip. Vanessa was warm and helpful. We will definitely stay again!

This was a great place to stay in a beautiful part of the Adelaide Hills. It was an easy walk to the main town centre which had a number of wonderful restaurants and shops. The german heritage is very evident and is a very picturesque area. There are several wineries nearby. The room was upstairs and we were delighted with the number of birds - cockatoos, parrots, galahs etc. that gathered below our balcony in the morning and evenings. The room is spacious with a separate bedroom and is beautifully styled with all the amenities we required. The hosts are lovely and provided very helpful information on the surrounding area. We loved our stay here. Highly recommended.

Amble Over was excellent.... spacious, clean and with beautiful views - horses, birds and the surrounding hills. The location is excellent for the town of Hahndorf, literally 2 mins down the road into the main street. The apartment itself is spacious, airy and contains absolutely everything you could need; all well signed too. The attention to detail right from check in to departure was faultless. Highly recommended.
