the room was a good size, as was the bathroom. There was a microwave, toaster and kettle and small bar fridge. There were two beds in my room a queen and a single i think. The bed was comfortable and I had a good nights sleep. The motel is close to Woolworths as well as other places like McDonalds, there was a fish and chip shop close by. I was able to park directly outside of my room which was easier for me to unpack my car for the night.

my only recommendation would be to add another bedside table to the room as there was only one which would be inconvenient if there had been another person sharing the room.

We liked the neat and tidy rooms with adequate space and doors between main and secondary sleeping areas for privacy. There was a bbq in the common area, so we were able to prepare a nice hot dinner after spending a day on the road. The motel is conveniently located in walking distance to groceries and cafés. Would consider this property again for a stopover.

Our unit had a kitchen-in-bathroom situation (one sink & area for both personal grooming and washing up), which was a bit inconvenient, especially when someone was brushing their teeth while another person wanted to get something out of the fridge... but we were only staying one night to break up a road trip, so not the worst. It was a public holiday, so there was some confusion with reception opening times, but everything was prepared for our arrival; contactless check-in and check-out were a breeze.

The location was great. Easy walk to restaurants, groceries and fast food. Pretty quiet too. The staff bent over backwards to solve our internet problem when we brought it to their attention.

Not much not to like. This place isn't the Ritz, but we didn't pay big money either. The room was larger than expected with an adequate size fridge, microwave and kettle. Wardrobe and table were added bonus that some hotels in this price range don't have.

Close to railway station and shops. Friendly, helpful staff. Plenty of hot water for the shower. Very clean. Iron and ironing board supplied Extra blanket and pillows in room Tv worked well, and streaming services enabled. Wifi code for room supplied but I didn't use it.

Basic rooms and facilities, but air-conditioners were being upgraded and replaced the day I left. No shower cap or little soaps and only conditioning shampoo, not separate shampoo and conditioner.

I liked the way the bathroom/laundry/kitchen were set up. The air con was on when we arrived, and overall, it was just a wonderful and comfortable experience. The reception desk was very polite, polite and understanding. Staff clearly care for the comfort and needs of their clients.

The door locks were a bit janky, but with the kind help of the staff it was resolved nice and fast.

The roomy layout, the very hospitable and friendly proprietors, walking distance to the shops, very little traffic noise

Not being able to shut out the outside light which filtered in through the bathroom window and into the sleeping area. This was due to there being no door between the kitchenette and bedroom. It wasn't bright, but it prevented the room from being totally dark.

The staff who ran the motel were professional and friendly. The room had recently been renovated and was spotless, clean, and comfortable, including a new bathroom and kitchen. 5 Minute walk from the local pub that was recommended by the motel staff, served excellent food. We really enjoyed our stay, thankyou.

Could not fault the facility had everything we needed.

Even though it was in the main street it was quiet at night. Close to shops and dinner options. Great shower!!

When the tv was on standby the white light flashed on and off. We had to turn it off at the outlet. The white light on the air-conditioning unit was also very bright when on during the night so the room felt like 6am all night long.

The extreme cleanliness when I first arrived. Reception was easy to find, well signed through out the property, The onsite parking works and is easier to park, leave & return without needing to park in tight spaces. The garden oasis felt a world away, even though it is a tucked in nook. Very relaxing & peaceful. My room was an exceptional surprise and a lot larger than I expected. The spa was in its own room, bathroom off the kitchenette/closet room. Door to my room was open ready for my arrival which was a welcome breath of fresh air, no fumbling and dropping luggage trying to unlock a door, I easily walked in and put my luggage down and that in itself relieved more stress than I can say!!! the towel sets for each spa room & bathroom was also an added surprise, no need to bring towels and bath mat from one room to another. overall I give 6 star rating for Kansas City Motel, they really have gone above and beyond to ensure the happiness of their guests, and to make sure they have a relaxed and peaceful positive experience while staying. Rates were reasonable, and I was given a late checkout (2pm) for a small fee. very pleased!! Thankyou, Natalie

Nothing to not like. Was perfect, close to the town center, supermarkets only a few minutes walk, as close to the center of town as you would want to get

Great service, our host was brilliant, a couple of small issues on arrival, one on our part & one with the accomodation which was out of his control & we understood that.

Unfortunate that work was being done to upgrade system so power had been off, which disabled the hot water service, thus no hot water. This was through fault of the host.
