The hosts are lovely and friendly but respect privacy and will only interact as much as you initiate, they are very helpful if you need assistance with anything whatsoever. The garden apartment is very comfortable. The breakfast provisions are generous and lovely. The garden is beautiful to observe and wake up to. Bairnsdale is a great town with lots to do and enjoy. Lots of relaxing fishing spots or walks. The hosts provide a room service each day, refilling supplies, making the bed and tidying up. Thank you.

The B&B appears quite busy from the visitor comments book. A more thorough deep clean would be great as there were some toothpaste marks on the bathroom mirrors and we noticed some food marks on one of the larger bed cushions from previous guests. There were some creepy crawlies in the room but overall the B&B was a very comfortable stay and we would definitely come back and stay again.

Andrea and Keith were very welcoming, and made us feel right at home. They gave us lots of tips about things to do and see, and the property itself is absolutely superb. No detail has been overlooked. The decor in the Heritage apartment that we stayed in is so beautifully themed, and all the little extras such as a pair of scissors and a first aid kit in the room just top it all off. The breakfast offering had lots of choice, and we were also delighted to find a coffee machine and a bowl of welcome-chocolates. Perfect.

There was nothing not to like!

We've been to Bairnsdale several times, and this was by far the best of the many places we've stayed in. Lovely room - we had the blue studio apartment which is slightly elevated: it was gorgeously decorated, comfortable and quiet. The very reasonable price includes a very good breakfast + great coffee and tea, all replenished daily. The bath and shower are excellent as are the views from the windows. Andrea and Keith are very welcoming and friendly hosts and also showed us the rest of the house and told us a little about the history of the building. Finally, the B&B is quite central, 10 min walk to shops, 5 mins to the river. Really recommend this for couples wanting a pleasant getaway.

Love a hot plate or something other then just a microwave. Or perhaps some other microwave cooking containers , so you could add bacon to go with the eggs ( eggs supplied)

Beautiful garden setting and the room was very private looking out at it. Very comfortable bed, breakfast goodies provided and great location easy walking distance. Hosts were welcoming and lots of information about local attractions. Would definitely recommend this property.

We received a warm welcome from the owner and were shown our room and given a thorough explanation of how to use the coffee machine and how easy it was to prepare the eggs for breakfast. The recommendation where to have dinner in town was perfect. Overall a lovely stay, highly recommended.

Excellent breakfast choices and beautifully presented. The garden view was lovely in the mornings and we were very close to everything we needed. A lovely room with so many little extras available.

B&B was exceptional in every way possible, from the owners to the garden and to the room. Our room was decorated with art decor which made our stay more enjoyable, and organised in a way which brought everything together. Bed had electric blanket, which we didn't need for as the reverse heater did a great job keeping us warmer during the night, tv in room was a nice touch though there was no time to watch as the accommodation was central in town and alot to do.

Beautiful old home with the charm of yesteryear! warm cozy and a romantic ambience. the breakfast selection was fantastic complimented by the quality of condiments twinnings teas and croissants!

the bed was only a double.

Excellent B&B, very clean, all our needs were met, lovely hosts, beautiful garden, off street parking and very quiet.

All the windows are permanently closed and we prefer fresh air at night for sleeping.
