Possibly the best location for a hotel in Clayton, PARKROYAL Monash Melbourne is situated in M-City, which meant we could access the various shops if we needed something. The receptionist was welcoming and pleasant, and we even got a room at one of the higher floors, as requested. The room was spacious, and even came with huge windows offering a great view of Melbourne, including the CBD in the distance. Overall, we had a great experience there, and would definitely stay there again if we visited the area in the future.

We were unable to cast the computer to the TV, hence we could only watch the local TV channels. Not a huge problem however, as we spent most days outside.

The rooms are large and spacious with a comfortable bed, large shower and everything you could need for a short stay. The breakfast was delicious with lots of choices and all inclusive. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. We felt secure with key cards required for lifts and entry from the car park. Having some shops downstairs was convenient too.

First time driving down to the car park was a little confusing, and paying an additional $25 per day is a little expensive. There is plenty of parking outside in the car park as an alternative, but it's not secure.

Overall great stay, great location in the M City Shopping Centre. Location of hotel was second to none, entry and reception area in hotel is very pleasant. Staff were very welcoming also. Room was very comfortable, amenities were all provided & near new. Everything you needed was provided. Security was very good, lock up all the parking areas and hotel. Overall definitely would recommend.

Overall very minor items to be quite honest, parking and leaving your car somewhere was difficult to navigate. Small fee may be applied but not a concern for me as you park underground. Very safe. Other than that no concerns.

Central to where we needed to go & to visit families & friends over the Xmas holidays as well Spacious, clean & very accommodating as well All staff from the reception, in dine & house keeping are & were very professional, friendly & very helpful & attentive to our need & care during our stay We would recommend to all our families & friends to stay here for all & any occasions as it caters to ALL

I have loved staying at the Park Royal Monash. The beds are super comfortable, the rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean and it is so quiet so you can sleep well. The shower is great as well.

I arrived very late at night from a long international flight and requested a late check out the following morning. I was happy to be told I could have until noon. Unfortunately, housekeeping woke me at 10am asking when I was checking out and then an hour later, reception rang to remind me that check out time had passed and asked when I was leaving. When I got to the Reception desk to check out at half eleven, I was told I could stay until twelve. Just let me out of here!!! I am going!! Also, a bottle of water in the mini-bar fridge would be most welcome.

Breakfast buffet booking very commonly causes confusion amongst guests, not just myself. Although I pre-book, I am told it’s $41. Not $30 and then they correct the mistake. Then I walk to the dinning area, I am asked for my room number. They either can’t find my name on the list and they say, “ I don’t think you paid for breakfast”. Or, “did you pay for the breakfast package” ? “I can’t find your name”. This is a reoccurring problem when I have visited this Hotel.

The accommodation was in a great location and close to the Monash Children’s Hospital after my son had his procedure and I was too tired to drive home. It was comfortable, clean and close to all other amenities like supermarkets and IKEA.

The private car parking was a little confusing as it was abit of a maze to go through the main shopping centre car parking to find. Other than that, I couldn’t fault the service, location or cleanliness of this property.

Comfortable bed, decent tea selection, good quality bulk toiletries in shower reduces single use plastics, thoughtful bathroom provisions, fluffy robe for relaxing. Nice bar area to enjoy a drink.

Dimmer dials on above-bed lights were a bit tricky to use. A spare blanket or doona would be appreciated; an extra layer is better than turning the heater up. I didn't eat at the restaurant, but the menu seemed a bit limited at first glance.

Staff were friendly and helpful, kitchen staff happily reheated baby food for us, room was spacious and the breakfast was excellent, with a chef on-hand to cook things not on the buffet, when an issue with the room was raised, the staff sent up a fruit platter as an apology.

Housekeeping needs to improve, food and drink were left in the fridge from the previous guest, the floors need a good vacuum and/or dry-clean, there was fluff, animal hair and dried food/drink splatters on it. One of the hand basins was blocked with food that a previous guest had tipped down it, one of the door handles to the bathroom was loose and there was dried crud on multiple surfaces in the bathroom. I get that there's a lot of rooms to get to, with limited staff and time, but with the cost and quality of the rooms, there needs to be more focus on making sure the rooms are up to standard.

I always stay here when in Melbourne and until something happens to change that it will always be my first choice. It's because the bed and pillows are comfortable, the airconditioning is quiet and easy to operate, the water pressure is excellent, the rooms are large and light. I like that it is above a shopping centre for anything I might need and I also feel safe as a woman travelling alone this is important to me. It's very easy to park right next to the basement lift for easy and safe access.

I would like to see a mini bar so when I arrive late at night there are some snacks and cold drinks available. I would also like fresh milk but this is probably a big ask. Also would choose a room at the rear of the hotel in future as I could hear the trucks at night this stay, not a massive thing but that will be my preference moving forward.
