The location was exactly what we were looking for. We were attending the Australian Open Women's Softball titles at Waverley and wanted somewhere close but with food and shopping also close. This place fitted the criteria perfectly as there were an abundance of food options as well as a major shopping center all within 5 minute walking distance. The Fields were only 10 minute drive away. The kitchen facilities were great and had everything you may need for cooking. We had a over height vehicle (2.3metres) and they provided perfect secure parking to suit.
We were on the 12th floor and the carpet leading down the hallway was in need of a clean. It looked like one apartment had a worker that had dirty boots after every shift and left a distinct grease trail to their door. We also found that the afternoon sun heated up the rooms so much that the A/C really took a long time to try and cool the area down. The bedrooms only had ceiling fans and remained quite hot throughout the night creating sleeping issues.

When we arrived there was no power or water due to a storm which impacted the area. Malcolm was amazing at handling the situation, keeping us updated on when power would be restored to the Glen Waverley area. He was very friendly and we were able to contact him outside of office hours and he even came up to make sure water was running through the pipes after it had been restored. The unit has everything you need - the beds were very comfy, and the unit was clean. Water pressure was 10/10. Entrance to the property is secure (access tag and key), as is parking space. Ideal for public transport as the train station is next to the property. Plenty of food options nearby. The Glen shopping mall is a short walking distance from the property and we were able to buy a few groceries for our short stay.
The rooms at the back end of the unit run a bit warm as the air conditioning does not reach the back rooms, however there is a ceiling fan if you get too warm.

I live in Regional Vic and always stay at Park Avenue Ikon Glen Waverley whenever I travel into Melbourne for work or leisure. The booking process is made easy by Ron, Natasha and the rest of the team, and nothing is too much trouble. They go out of their way to make sure that your stay is a comfortable and pleasant one. Keys are easily accessible via a lock-box, the underground car-parking is safe & secure, as is the apartment complex itself (you can only access the apartments with keys/swipe card). There are many restaurants within minutes and the Black Flat Cafe at the bottom of the building make mouth-watering bagels and coffee. The apartments themselves are clean and spacious, with ovens, microwaves and full-size fridges, as well as washing machines and dryers. (a sachet of laundry detergent is provided). The Glen Shopping Centre is less than a 5-minute walk away, as is the Village Century City Cinema complex. Could not recommend Park Avenue Ikon Glen Waverley more highly - it's my home away from home :-)

Rooms were clean and had all the amenities. Very convenient for work and superb restaurants that were close by to walk around. Underground car park was available which is a bonus. Right where Glen Waverley train station making it simple for public transport. The Glen shopping centre is nearby as well.
The drying machine didn’t work unfortunately. There were extra charges for using any coffee bags and tea bags in the kitchen. There isn’t any heating for rooms apart from classic heating machine. Master bedroom has an awkward door and cabinet door that seems to bump into each other. There will be some noise from the street such as car horns and people talking loudly, which is to be expected. Overall a pleasant stay.

Ron was fabulous and nothing was too much of a hassle for him. The apartment was modern and spacious and the bed was super comfortable. Very clean. Excellent location close to everything. Great cafe downstairs and food options galore a few steps away. Having undercover parking was a HUGE bonus and easy to get to. The apartment block itself is modern, nice and quiet.
The street noise is a bit loud at night so bring earplugs. Two things that would send this place from a GREAT rating to an OUTSTANDING one would be; better internet - I was promptly provided with an Optus dongle as the wifi kept dropping out and I was trying to work from the apartment - the dongle worked a treat but solid, working wifi would have been better. And finally - Smart TV is really an essential these days. I don't know anyone who watches free to air - I certainly haven't for nearly 20 years. I watched Netflix on my laptop with the dongle but a smart tv with the ability to log into our own streaming service/s would be perfect.

Amazing hosts and communication, very accommodating. The property had everything we needed for a stay, the noise level wasn’t too bad considering a busy location. Great location near shops, transport and many cafes & restaurants.
The room does get quite hot in the afternoon, so it’s important to leave the aircon on from early on. We are not yet used to Australian heat so it took a bit of getting used to, but was manageable.

Getting through the front door of the building was tricky. I hadn’t received an attachment that probably explained the process so had to call. The fellow on the phone was very pleasant and we eventually gained access to the building. From then on, everything was great. Although we weren’t sure where to drop off our keys when checking out.
The iron did flip a circuit breaker. A few more charging points would be good.

This is my go-to place when staying in Melbourne. A beautiful apartment in a secure complex, secure undercover parking, amazing views, and many different restaurants to choose from for meals. Picking up the keys is via a lockbox and is an extremely easy process. The apartment I stayed in this time also had a washer/dryer, which meant I didn't need to take dirty clothes home with me - an added bonus :-) Public Transport (trains and buses) are right on your doorstep, so easy access into Melbourne CBD. The Glen Shopping Centre is only a couple of minutes walk away, as is the Village Cinema complex. There is also a great little coffee shop downstairs that makes amazing coffees and bagels for breakfast. I thoroughly recommend 'Park Avenue - IKON Glen Waverley' to anyone looking to stay in the Glen Waverley area - you can't go wrong.

Great location convenient to all the shops, restaurants and cafes of Glen Waverley and very short walk to The Glen shopping centre. I liked that the layout provided space between the 2 bedrooms. Having the carpark in the basement was very convenient as we were in and out a lot. Lots of windows in the main living area.
It would have been easier for us to have 2 passes for the lift because there were 4 of us staying, but I didn't think to ask for an extra one so perhaps they provide this?

Perfectly situated, close to all transport connections and a mall, very well appointed apartment, everything worked and was clean. Host was very friendly, accommodating and informative.
Internet coverage was patchy and slow if you moved away from the router, Host advised he is aware of the problem and was arranging an upgrade, he also offered additional hardware which would have solved the problem so this should not be a problem for future bookings.
