The room was clean, comfortable, with everything that I could want. The HUGE disability friendly bathroom was a surprise, and although not required by me, I am sure would delight someone using a wheelchair. I appreciated the lift access up to the rooms - helps when taking luggage up and down. The motel is central and on a very busy road. You could definitely hear the traffic outside the room, however in the room was perfectly quiet and peaceful. Off street parking was a bonus.

I felt that the steps leading up to the rooms hadn't been cleaned in ages, with bits of paper and other jetsam in the corners. While this didn't directly affect the quality of the room, it left a poor impression. I feel these could be made cleaner and more "looked after" which would lift my whole impression.

We chose the belmercer as we were collecting a hire car nearby the next day. It's away from the centre of town and near a flyover and railway line but was pretty quiet. The lift to the second floor was very useful with big luggage to deal with. The lady at reception was helpful and friendly.

It's a 20 min walk into town but this can be along the grass seafront area which is very pleasant. Only one burger joint close by to eat at but it's open 24 hours so handy for breakfast.

Fantastic Location for my needs, room was comfortable.

I didn't like that the WiFi network constantly dropped out and that I ended up using all the vouchers given to me that should have lasted the 3nights in 2 nights. Also didn't like that other visitors let the door of the stairwell slam shut each time ( but I guess I'm being a bit picky about that).

I liked having a limited pay tv as opposed to free to air TV. At least you have some options to watch. The room is tidy and comfortable with everything you would expect for a quick night's accommodation.

My only small issue is the noise from the main road proximity out the back. But it dies down from about 9pm and is then not a problem considering I was leaving early in the morning and was gone by the time it fires up again the next day.

Lovely helpful staff at reception. Very clean room & very generous sized bathroom. Would stay again when next in Geelong. Also lots of places to eat in walking distance.

A little bit of noise from the train tracks a couple of streets behind the motel, but really nothing too bad. And totally outside the motels control.

Clean room. Just as described. Only partial view of sea. But did see Spirit of Tasmania pass by. Nice bathroom. Friendly staff. Good communication. Bedroom comfortable and roomy.

Stayed 2 days. Only supplied with one and a bit toilet rolls but it was only just enough. Carpark very tight but OK for me.

Location - just a short distance from the CBD, View - room was sun-bathed in the morning so made it nice for enjoying the balcony, Spa Parking - no trouble getting a spot.

Cleanliness was a bit lacking. On the side of the wardrobe there was a splatter of what looked like a fizzy drink with a spill of something else lower down. There was a small piece of rubbish near the head of the bed on the floor. One of the remotes was missing a battery cover which I thought was tacky.

One of us did not have a second pillow also one face washer only. There was a toaster but no small or large plates and no knife and only one teaspoon, for $330 we were surprised. Also when we arrived the lady serving us had such a loud voice it was hard to take in what she was saying ...she shouted instead of speaking although she shouted in a friendly way.

Location ideal for what we needed. Bathroom was super big and clean.

Needed additional pillows and was asked what crockery we needed. Only supplied 3 standard glasses cups and saucers and spoons. Also had to ask for milk. But staff were very helpful in supplying missing items

Massive spa bath; it was very clean and tidy. Free parking, I like that they had adults only rooms as all guests were very quiet in the area I stayed

There was no cutlery in the room but once h spoken to staff they were so apologetic that it had been missed
