Brand new hotel. Room was well designed, the bathroom particularly so. Minimalist decor but pops of colour were attractive. I would recommend a stay for business or leisure. Maestro restaurant a pleasant ambience and good food. Breakfast had a good range. Public areas such as foyer and lift were sparkling clean. All staff were courteous, helpful and keen. Close to main amenities in Geelong.

No mini-bar. Some bottled water would have been good. The parking, managed by a different company I think, even though you park in the hotel basement, was quite a steep price for overnight. Would add up if you were staying a few days!

All the meals breakfast, lunch and dinner were delicious. We hadn’t thought about breakfast unetil the day before we left, otherwise we would have had it each also. My grandson thought the room and the garden outside, on the roof, were the best we had ever stayed at. We have stayed at quite a few in Melbourne and other places, around Victoria. He enjoyed the pool also. I haves lived in Geelong for 70 years and only recently moved into the country, so we used Geelong as a base for the four days, to catch up with friends. I absolutely love the whole Bay Area and l have always thought how lucky we are to have such a beautiful bay.

There was nothing to dislike but just a couple of options if you don’t want your room done each day. Maybe just a small brush and pan, and possibly a toilet brush, as we didn’t get our room done while we were there, by choice.

We enjoyed the hotel. Being brand new everything was pristine and clean. Loved the fact that the lifts were very big and you didn't feel like you were squished in with other people even when there were a few of you. Staff we amazing and always smiling (too bad some guests couldn't be the same way!), even with the grumpy people checking in before me!

I must admit that the car park was a bit scary. With a very steep drive , coming out it was so steep you couldn't see where you were going and the reader had to read your car plate number before the boom gate would open. With a fully loaded car of bikes etc it was pretty hard to get out.

Room was clean, modern and spacious. An location is excellent. Staff were amazing from checking through to check out - professional and friendly.

Really just a minor thing - I had an excellent room booked overlooking the bay. However, when returning to the room after dinner I found that the room TV didn't work. The staff were excellent and tried to fix TV but unsuccessful. So was moved to another room on the same floor, but view was opposite side overlooking a car park instead of the harbour. No fault of the staff at all and they were professional and very helpful. Very minor issue as wouldn't have had much time in the room overlooking the water anyway. As I said, the staff were really wonderful and the room was great.

Rooms were nice clean and fresh, food at the buffet was great beds were comfy property nice and modern

A few things to make it a little bit better, nothing that we didn’t like as such. Better pillows or the option for different types of pillows. Pool could do with a some loungers, plants etc to make it a bit more inviting. At breakfast we ordered eggs, no need to have this as there are already most types of eggs at the buffet. We didn’t actually end up getting our order anyway. Rooms a little sparse could do with some more artwork or furniture

The hotel was very clean, and the buffet breakfast had a great value for money with great variety. The hotel is suitable for kids. Pool is mainly for kids as it's not deep enough. The location is in the city. The view of the bay is beautiful, but you won't see a full view only a small part of the beach, but it's still really nice. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom is very clean, the room size is medium.

You need to let customers know that they need to book the restaurant in advance. I only received an email about booking parking. You need a coffee machine in the room with some small milk cartons. The room service food is average, and the price is way more than the quality of the food. For example, i ordered steak, and it was 60 dollars. i expected a big piece of steak, but it's was so small.

The breakfast was very delicious! Great selection of the usual hot food - bacon, hashbrowns, house-made baked beans etc. My favourite is that they had us complete a form on how we'd like our eggs, including the option for boiled eggs. This is a brand new hotel with the 'new' smell everywhere, including our room, which was very clean. Staff were super friendly & approachable. Parking was easy & managed by a third party for $35 for the night. The only thing to note is that there weren't enough of the hotel allocated parking spaces on the first floor, so we had to go down an extra floor and park in one of the apartment spots & hoped we wouldn't get in trouble (we didn't, so it turned out to be fine).

Nothing negative at all - a lovely hotel & central to most things in the Geelong area.

The location was excellent. We were attending a performance at the new Geelong Performing Arts Centre , which was just around the corner. We traveled by train and the station was very close. We were able to travel on foot to all the places we wanted to visit in central Geelong.

The tea and coffee choices were limited and there were no biscuits to welcome us to the room. A minor point was the guessing game with the temperatures displayed in the lift. The two readings in each lift were wildly different and bore no relationship to the outside temperature.

The location of the hotel was abolutely perfect; a 10 minute walk from the seafront, but also far enough way that it was quiet. The staff were very helpful, and the room was so spacious and very well thought out. I loved the long shower! Breakfast was superb. Overall this is the best city hotel I have ever stayed in. Thank you! I'm taking very fond memories back to the UK with me.
