The cottage offered was lovely, homey, simple, and comfortable. It had all that you needed! The cottage was full of charm and personality, from the pieces of original artwork to the lovely and comfortable lounge room to the outdoor decking/sunroom that overlooks the water. We had the company of the very friendly black swans when sitting out on the deck! Peter and Gillian are lovely hosts who encouraged you to feel at home in their unique cottages. We loved it....thanks so much for that added attention to detail that your accommodation offers! It's a short, easy stroll into town along the path that runs along the water...about 1.5km away.

A really comfy, clean and well-appointed cottage in a beautifully tranquil garden setting directly by the lake. Perfectly peaceful with an amazing view from the enclosed veranda. It’s an easy and scenic stroll into town. We loved our stay and can’t wait to return! Gillian and Peter are lovely hosts, very friendly and helpful - thanks for sharing your special place with us :)

We have wanted to stay in these units for years but they are always booked out - now we know the reason. The location on the waterfront is so peaceful & relaxing with a stunning outlook over the lake with the dunes in the distance. The garden is so well designed that it feels like a haven. We relaxed in the garden and read overlooking this stunning outlook between a few walks into town on the waterfront. The lovely owners live onsite and were very friendly

Beautiful location - right on the riverfront. Really attractive gardens all around. The accommodation had everything we needed, & was very clean and quiet.

Wasn't an issue for us, but there aren't any restaurants or bars nearby - will need to walk or drive into the town centre (a pleasant 20 minute walk).

The whole cottage was absolutely beautiful. Clean,specious an peaceful. You just sit on the pouch and watch the birdlife a lake float by. Sunset and sun rise from your bed as well. You could not ask for better hosts… that live on the property as well.

In the winter you might need an outdoor above heater so you can still sit in the inclosed porch and enjoy the view.

The property was simple. No frills but comfortable for what we needed. I loved the art work. The chairs are super comfy in the lounge. We want to know where we can get some. The location is the best. Quite clearly the best place to stay if youre visiting Lakes Entrance

not applicable for us as we had our own, but there is no BBQ so it means you have to cook inside.

A great cabin, comfortable, spacious for a couple, super view of the lake, a really enjoyable place to stay. Gillian greeted us and explained everything. She may have even turned on the heating whilst we were out for a walk, a nice surprise. We only had one night, but would definitely work for a longer stay.

Location is great and the property is presented perfectly with a fabulous king size bed, including a view to the lake. Everything that you need is supplied, and we even got some milk and chocolates during our stay.

Parking is a little restrictive but is still workable.

When searching for the overnight stay I was specifically looking for a quiet location away from the main road, which is difficult to find in lakes entrance. What I didn’t expect was a front row view of a black swan nesting site, with the waterway seen from the verandah. The little cottage is superb. Much better than a motel room and a shared car park. In the morning, we had a very relaxing walk along the water and breakfast on the deck! Loved this place and have posted to our friends. Thanks to Gillian and Peter for setting up this special place.

I can’t think of anything

We like the whole feel of the place, the owners are lovely people and very helpful. The cabins are setup for couples so not having children nearby was an added bonus for us grandparents who just wanted some quiet time to ourselves.

Everything was to our liking so no complaints from us.
