kitchen facilities (ie oven, utensils) good, laundry/dryer in room good, bed big and comfortable, aircon good, very close to supermarket, bottle store, variety of restaurants and tram lines making it handy to get around Melbourne and airport. Staff very pleasant and helpful. great to have a bath in unit. carparking option handy but would be good to have a cleaning bay. overall cleanliness and modern furniture great

expelair above oven missing filter cover with wiring exposed, biggest issue was the fluctuating temperature during showering. roadside units a bit noisy but this was to be expected although double glazing and blackout curtains compensated. TV channels somewhat limited (could use a few more movie channels). Would have liked a general waste and recycling dumpster in the basement carpark

Very spacious well appointed studio room, clean, nice carpet. Bed extremely comfortable. Air con worked very well on cool & heat .. it’s melb .. we needed both! 😂 Very easy to run. Cute little outdoor area for catching the morning sun. This room completely exceeded our expectations. Next to big supermarket, a pharmacy and several fantastic cafes within 2 min walk. Good coffee everywhere! On a tram line. Very friendly & helpful staff. Cannot fault. The Indian restaurant nearby fantastic curries too. Very good rate .. excellent value for money. Lots of ticks from us.. Room 106 with street view.

Everything was clean and tidy. It was quite spacious and very well equipped. Only stayed one night so I didn’t have time to fully embrace every aspect of the place however I was quite impressed with everything that I saw

The staff weren’t really around when I went to check in and I Was a bit confused as it was well within checkin hours. Minor issue but was still waiting 5 minutes before someone showed up to let me know that the front desk attendant would be there soon. This was after I called the number of their generic hotel group that was provided.

I liked every bit of this hotel I stayed in the apartments suite and it was beautiful. It was spacious. It was very clean. It had everything you needed. There is nothing I can really say bad about it. The staff are excellent and very polite. I will definitely go back to this hotel again it was a very good experience.

There is nothing I could say. I didn’t like about this property. It was all up to standard and like I said it had everything you need. The gym was awesome and it was easy to get supplies if you need extra.

I liked that the emergency exit lights worked on floor 1 however the one down near the gym was not and that concerned me as part of As/NZ 3000 that wasn't to a standard. Maybe use the Stanilite brand as it worked. I liked location. Nicole the cleaner was lovely. However room wasn't cleaned or change of towels throughout the weekend but that's OK I just washed them in the room ourselves.

It's a shame there isn't a pool. I didn't like that some of the emergency lights didn't work that concerns me with my family if there is an emergency. The price was probably a little high but it was AFL grand final and the 2 bedroom where good size.

Great location, good value, comfortable

No heating or cooling in the bedroom. It was cold while we were in Melbourne but the bedroom was very hot! I wouldn’t want to stay there in warmer months! The tv needs an update, you kind of expect accommodation tv’s to be at least a smart tv these days

Once again a great night's stay at Punthill Essendon. Staff very friendly & accommodating. Room clean, comfortable & quiet...so quiet! Great value for money. Convenient to airport for us dropping our son off there. Plenty of restaurants for dinner, pubs for a drink, Cafes for breaky & Coles next door, all only a short stroll. Our 2nd stay & we will return.

connecting rooms was very beneficial for my family. Rooms were spacious and the kitchen was a bonus.

parking should be free - location is on a very busy road so its very difficult for first time stayers to actually find the place and then dop off bags for check in. I wouldn't be parking my car outside as there is a time limit that applies.

We loved the space. It was fantastic and amazing the each room had a tv. The facilities were excellent and well maintained

We didn't like the TV's as you couldn't use any apps to watch TV on. Also the entry to the carpark is hard to navigate due to a very busy and oddly shaped round a bout.

Great location. Easy to get to. Quiet room even with it being at front facing Mt Alexander Rd. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Good facilities. Supermarket across from carpark & bottle shop below on ground level. Lots of cafes & restaurants within walking distance.

No soap for hand basins in bathrooms. Soap in a tube would have been better in a dispenser.
