The price was good value for money the family room was big enough so u didnt feel like ur on top of each other there was room to move around ( im pregnant and if we ever down that way again n looking for a place to stay i would book here as the room we had would fit a portacot in it easy with lost of room still spare for the family ) we had the large family room that had 4 single beds n a double/queen? Bed great price too for my family of 5 the owners /staff where lovely and friendly and so accommodating We asked if we could get our key early ( we didn't need access to room early ) as we had a festival to go to and didn't know what time we be back and they were more than happy to let us pick up the key early on the day of our booking The beds were very very comfortable for a motel we weren't expecting them to be that comfortable kids wanted to steal the mattresses😂😂 that's how good they were I suffer hip and pelvic issues and wake up very sore n stiff most days but I woke up no so stuff n sore had a gd night sleep part from the hubby snoring

Only thing I think that could be improved on was the shower head it didn't spray the water out as its ment to but we were there one night so it wasn't a big deal prob just needs a head replacement I did let the owner/staff know just incase they didn't But it's nothing really didn't effect our stay

The cabin is of perfect size. Facilities included everything we needed as a family. The beds are comfy, the kitchen works for those who want to cook, the pieces of furniture are just right and the bathroom's hot water and toilet work 100%. The playground is close by. The cabin configuration is excellent. The location is an ideal base for skiing. The town of Bright has everything you need and more - supermarket, coffee shops, ski shops, regular shops, restaurants etc.

Firstly, the night manager ( sorry forgot his name) was absolutely amazing. got off a horrible international flight on the day of my booking and he was so accommodating allowing us an early check in after explaining the situation- thank you. Room was perfect, little outdated but very comfortable. plenty of parking and was allowed to keep my car parked in the car park when getting the tram into Melbourne after check out. tram stop only 2 min walk from the motel.

Nothing! would stay again!

We arrived early and were welcomed and greeted in such a kind and freindly way that I liked it instantly. Family room was really big and comfy for me and my kids. The tram is right outside and goes directly to the city so was very convenient. Great if you want to be near the city but in a quieter relaxed area. Really easy to get too and from the airport on public transport. Highly recommend this place especially if you have kids.

we stayed at the Alexander motor inn for 3 nights as we flew from Sydney to attend the equitana at the show grounds. the staff were very helpful and kind, offering advice on best food , transport and attractions along with helping with transport directions. the room was clean, and a great value for a cheap price. when equitana is on again in two years time we will be back, perfect location close to everything.

2 PowerPoints near the bed didn’t work but other then that it was great

We were driving over from Adelaide and stayed in the motel for a couple of nights before we could pick up our keys. We had a call from staff asking if we would require after hours check-in which was great - we received a text message with instructions on how to access the keys and were able to easily check into our room on arrival in the evening.

The room description said there would be a microwave but there was not.

Comfortable facilities, contained everything needed, friendly, helpful and most obliging staff, even though on a main road, not overly noisy, neighbouring guests were fairly quiet.

Nothing I didn’t like, but there could be a few improvements. Cleaning seemed a little rushed. The property is older, so you can’t expect it to be perfect. It was a good home away from home for us.

Sound from the next room travelled through the connecting door - so I could hear talking and phone conversations quite clearly from the adjacent room

The motel manager kindly went out of his way to help guests eg drove two of them to the local club when it was raining

There was no servicing of the rooms over the five nights I stayed (but it was over Easter and the manager did say to come to reception if fresh sheets or supplies were required).
