What a wonderful find this was! Absolutely lovely place to stop. Very clean, excellent beds, relaxing decor and wonderful staff. If you are ever on a road trip travelling through Orbost or even on business the you won’t find a better place to stay! We had two rooms and both were excellent. Nice little touches like fresh milk in the fridge and the bedside table light switches cable tied to the stem making it easier to find. How many times have you fumbled to turn the bedside light on and of so little details like this make all the difference. Our only regret is we only stayed for one night, we should have stayed longer.

Absolutly nothing, a great place to stay

So delighted to see a motel with style and comfort and hope that more motels follow their lead. It was because we were able to charge electric vehicle (wall plug) that we were able to stay - and we are very happy that we did. The staff were lovely and helpful.

Good amount of surfaces to put your things on, plenty of chairs for when our friends dropped by for a catch up, and a full sized fridge/freezer. Bathroom was large with a huge mirror and surface area and the bed was very comfortable. Fly screen windows we're great too.

Not exactly my style of decor and the bed creaked from the zinc sheet siding everytime you got up but it was comfortable and clean. Shower tiles were a bit uncomfortable to stand on.

I still think this is one of the best accommodation in the area. This is our second time staying here and we were quite happy with it once again. The room was sufficient, beds were comfortable and generous, and I just like the big size fridge in the room, unlike the small bar fridge most accommodations provide.

Internet connection could have been better but this is a common issue in this area I think.

Modern room with country feel, the bathroom was very spacious and plenty of room in the shower, good large bed with clean linen, full sized fridge allowed for plenty of food and drinks storage and a Coffee Pod machine and milk frother made the mornings great.

The only things I didn't like was the driveway was all gravel, only a small thing really. The chairs in the room were not comfortable for me, they were too low and the backs set too far back, I need to prop with a pillow to sit in them.

We booked the king room with spa bath. The bathroom was huge with plenty of room for our toiletries bag. Liked the “industrial chic” look. Air conditioning worked well. Appreciated extra china and cutlery available beyond a normal motel room. Comfortable bed.

We prefer taking showers. This was a little tricky over the spa bath…..couldn’t avoid getting water on the floor.

highly highly highly recommend this motel, very modern and clean, big fridge with separate freezer on top, comfy and large beds as well, friendly staff, very nice stopover for the road trip, will come back if needed.

nothing negative, if I have to mention something, I would recommend to install one more light near the shower, because it is little dark in the bathroom, especially the shower part, kids were kind of scared to shower because of the darkness.

This is the second time I've stayed at Orbost Hotel. It is absolutely beautiful. And I have never stayed at a place with such comfortable beds. It's like you're being cuddled whilst sleeping. The place is so cool, different and very, very clean. The staff are so friendly. Will be back next year again.

I only have one thing. As we ride motorcycles. It's quite a risk riding the bike throughout the carpark area as it's gravel and uneven surface. So, it's a risk of dropping the bike.

This was a surporise for us since we expected an old run down motel. It is indeed a motel with thin rooms, but the two new owners, Vanie and William are making it into something a bit special. The rooms are clean, beds comfortable, showers good, room lovely overall and adequate. They are a very friendly couple and could not do enough for us and the others who were there. It was a lovely stay for the night.

The room was a bit dark.

Everything was clean and fresh. The bathroom was large and the coffee pod machine was a nice addition. It's right near the freeway so you don't have to defer from your road trip. There is no noise from the road which is also great. The manager called us to follow up on something earlier in the day so communication is good too.

Really nothing! We wanted to try the brewery in town and as the hotel is on the other side of the highway we drove rather than walking into town.
