Spent Christmas holiday at Lakes Entrance with my family and couldn’t have picked a better place to stay at. The views from the hotel, amenities, location, staff, quality of the room, accessibility, everything exceeded our expectations. The owners were accommodating of our two babies, and we extended our stay an additional night directly through them. The missus and I are blown away by our wonderful time at Coastal Waters. The prices are completely justifiable as you are getting very high quality, and we are more than happy to stay here again on our next visit to Lakes Entrance.

Our room number 2 was exceptionally clean, well presented and always tidy after the lovely Housekeeper had been. The owners were always helpful and friendly. We used the BBQ most days- well cared for in beautiful gardens. We would definitely stay there again in the future. loved every part of our short stay there- just wish we had been there longer than 5 nights. There was not a part of this stay that was not enjoyed. Totally happy with every aspect of our stay at lovely Coastal waters motel in Lakes Entrance. Lovely decor in our room.

Fabulous accommodation on a well kept immaculate property. Rooms are very spacious, beautifully decorated with very comfortable seats/lounge & a super comfy bed with awesome linen. Manicured lawns & gardens that are exquisite surrounding a lovely inground pool that is so inviting. Location is superb, situated directly opposite the lake and beach, within walking distance to shopping area restaurants/cafes. Owners were so quick to accommodate our needs without any fuss. Highly recommend staying here.

There was nothing to dislike!

This is an older style motel and the bathroom was dated BUT everything was in such immaculate condition that we weren’t bothered. Our room was quite spacious with space for two recliner rockers along with a small dining table and chairs. The room was scrupulously clean and smelt fresh . Lovely touches like an IPad holder, useful amenities pack ,fresh milk,and a top notch hairdryer. The entire complex was extremely well maintained with a lovely garden and pool area ( although too cold to swim at this time of year). The owners were very friendly and cheerful making us feel very welcome.

For the price we couldn’t complain about anything.

What an amazing place this is. The owners are very helpful and made us very welcome from the off. Our room was huge and had 2 leather recliners to relax in, it also had a well equipped kitchen and very good shower. The all important bed was big and lovely and comfortable. Parking was right outside our room.. The room was lovely and quiet and we slept like the proverbial logs. I can't imagine that there is a better place to stay in Lakes Entrance.

Absolutely nothing.

We stayed in a very large, really comfortable and clean apartment with everything you need for a short stay. the spa was a bonus, the kids loved that after the pool! The whole place is so well looked after. all the interiors are modern and new and the grounds were lovely, also perfectly kept with a very nice pool. The owners Tracey and Michael are very professional and welcome. 10 out of 10, would definitely stay again!

This motor inn is an amazing place to stay on the way to South coast. The staff is very friendly, great communication and service. The motel is cozy , super clean with beautiful decorations, comfortable beds, good air conditioning and lighting , high ceilings and very good shower. There’s personal touch in all high quality supplies ( minibar, kitchenette / bathroom amenities ). The location is great with lake view. Highly recommended!

Very big, modern room with allocated parking right outside. Friendly and helpful lady on reception, who gave suggestions for places to eat and things to do. Short walk to cafes and shops. Refillable shampoo etc, much better for the environment than all those little plastic bottles.

I know it’s supply and demand in Christmas holidays but $315pn didn’t feel justified. You had to pay for the bottled water in the fridge - everywhere else I’ve ever stayed (for a lot cheaper) has included these in the room price. Sign outside says heated pool, but when you get inside it says solar heated only, ie not heated - bit misleading! Recommendation for the owners: move the decorative mirror to another wall so you can properly use the much more useful full length one inside the cupboard door.

Just get there! The service and attention to detail of Tracey was out of this world. Nothing was too much trouble. It was my daughters birthday and I hadn't seen her for some time so wanted the room decorated for our arrival. Tracey helped me with where to source helium balloons and decorations and then set up the room AMAZINGLY for me. AND even picked up a cake for me! Nothing was too much trouble. Just perfect! The room was huge, beautifully clean. 100%

Absolutely nothing! Only not being able to stay longer!!

The property is even better than it looks in photos that were on line. The gardens were beautiful. The buildings are typical late 20th century brick mock colonial. However, the 2 bedroom apartment was furnished and decorated with up to minute casual beach vibe furniture and decorative items. The kitchen was very well equipped, including a Nespresso machine with coffee pods. Oil, salt & pepper, cling wrap, foil etc were all supplied. Comfortable beds, plenty of pillows & extra blankets. The property was spotlessly clean. We chatted with the owners and they were delightful, really cared about the motel , even did the cleaning themselves. They’d been too busy to upload new interior photos so do not be put off be slightly out of date looking furniture. A great location for beach, shops etc
