Rex was the highlight, probably the best host I have come across in my 25+ years of travelling the globe, nothing was too much to ask for, he being one of the owners of the place was humble enough to help us with our luggage and every other need we asked for.

The housekeeping could have been better, we didn't pay rates for a 5 star hotel so we shouldn't be disappointed, however the toilet bowl was very dirty from the edges, not visible but could have had a bit more attention. We stayed 6 nights and the room wasn't vacuumed once. It could have been a 7/10 based on the housekeeping, but Rex's hospitality was 12/10 so they get that 9/10 rating overall.

My single room was clean and comfortable and having a restaurant and bar on site is appreciated. Spacious parking close to the hotel’s entrance is a plus especially in inclement weather.

Unfortunately my friend’s room (Room 6) was damp and had an unpleasant smell. She regrets not asking to be assigned another room because the smell did not dissipate. The uncomfortable room contributed to a sleepless night.

The room was beautiful, and simply HUGE! The king sized bed was super comfortable! The overall look and feel of the hotel, corridors, reception area etc, was gorgeous and luxurious. We loved our stay here for our wedding night.

Nothing really. The bathroom was a little small for the huge size of the bedroom, but it had everything required, the shower was fabulous, and everything was sparkling clean.

Great price, we had a tripple room. I was really surprised at how nice it was, great fit out and nice renno. We went down for dinner and a few drinks, live music playing. I initially baulked at the prices but the food was amazing. Between the 3 of us we had tempura prawns, a cheese burger, the scotch fillet and fish. Everyone was stoked with their meal, it was 10 out of 10. We loved it so much we stayed again on our way home w days later.

Love the place

Sensational hotel, exceeded my expectations especially for a regional hotel. Loved the double studio, perfect for my family. TV's in each room, very modern and clean. Access to Netflix was a nice bonus. Hotel has a pub restaurant down stairs that also offers room service (very easy to order through the phone) and gluten free options 😀

There was a repetitive sound like water dropping but luckily it didn't persist all night. Glass soap dish dropped/fell while shower being used (safety issue with glass pieces). I still recommend this place, a recommendation may be to replace the glass soap dish with plastic.

Was a nice little room very modern bed was comfy

Was very noisy especially in the morning I asked for late check out as I was arriving later in the night from a wedding. I was woken very early due to paper thin walls I could hear absolutely everything from others leaving, doors slamming, people yelling and also house keeping that were extra loud! I then also had house keeping bang on my door at 10.10am when I was in the bathroom I them had to run out and tell them I had late check out because they were waiting at my door. 😡

Everything. Great pub, great food, great drinks. The room itself was small (but will designed) immaculate and the bathroom and little extras including a working TV remote (rare in this type of accommodation) were a treat. They should teach you about the little window blinds if you check in late. The toilet roll was even press stamped. The mini bar was a good time.

The only thing that let me down was the no ice situation, I got through the ideal just fine.

Spacious bathroom with double sink and a bath, great firmness of the bed, and Netflix on TV are just the right combination to stay and chill inside the hotel. If it were not for the beautiful location near Lake Guthridge and at the centre of the city where restaurants are within reach, I'd be happy just to stay in the room with take-aways :)

Soundproofing can be more improved as we could hear the faint buzzing sound of the aircon from outside of the hotel which come and gone and also noise of people walking on the corridor.

Comfy room and amenities with good aircon, friendly staff and good food in the restaurant. Would definitely stay again

The only thing I would change and I stayed three nights was the half size "powder room" wash basin that meant I seemed to splash everywhere and no counter in the bathroom. Otherwise great and friendly staff, so handy to the restaurant around the corner and a warm friendly atmosphere for those of us travelling alone for work

We stayed 2 nights in Sale for a basketball tournament this weekend and found the hotel room to be modern, clean, comfortable and great location as it's central to the town. We had an after hours check in and was fuss free, as was the express checkout. Highly recommend for anyone staying in town.
