My booking was a double room with bathroom and the choice suited perfect for my needs. The room was exactly like the picture, even better. I had all the space I needed. Private bathroom with towels for two and excellent hairdryer. Shower big enough, always worked. No cockroaches. Windows can be opened. Hotel in a perfect spot, 5 min from the train going to the airport and 10 min from the port to go to Rottnest Island. Receptionists always kind and helpful.

In general I don’t understand why they ask you for the deposit since it’s a room and not an apartment. Especially for the people not having an Australian card this means not receiving the money after one week (like they say) but weeks or perhaps months.

Loved the location. Loved the fact we had a balcony in our room. Price was excellent. Will definitely stay again!

When checking in, the man helping us tried to charge us for the room, even though we had already paid in full. He didn't believe me so I had to pull up my email with the paid confirmation on it. He then said he had confused us with other members of our group who were also checking in, who hadn't paid yet. We had different names, different room types etc. not sure how that confusion happens? The shower head in our room desperately needs replacing. The water sprayed everywhere but downwards, basically. Apart from those two minor things, everything was excellent!

Very much enjoyed my stay. I arrived early in the morning so before check in time but I got to leave my luggage there, and was guided to the café next door for nice breakfast. So that is super convenient (plus, a discount applies for hotel guests). The room itself was excellent, super comfortable bed - best I've slept in months! (including at my own home) - and all the facilities were great. I especially appreciated the decaffeinated tea/coffee option in the room! Had a bit of issue with the TV but I got help from the staff. Staff itself is also wonderful, especially Ellen who gave me valuable tips regarding sightseeing and overall useful information. Perhaps it is a bit on the pricier side (and I am backpacking) but since it was such an excellent place to stay at, I'm willing to pay that price.

The staff,the design of the hotel where I feel like I'm somewhere in Europe,the room,the TV,the toilet was good,the bed,the location and also the warm welcome that I had. It was a wonderful stay and I had a good time. The lobby had this Dutch lady as am a Dutch Eurasian I definitely love the picture. Lots of paintings which are so classy and elegant as you walk pass the stairs and aisle.

Probably there should be a different kind of lighting in the room. Although it's fine. Because I usually sleep with a small light lit only until it's really late. The lamp was pretty bright to be a small light but overall it's okay.

Everything about the hotel from spotless good size room with all the amenities to the exceptional helpful staff actually helping me work out the tv remote to recommending meds for my hayfever. The hotel is situated in the heart of the city and all top tourist spots are accessible by walking, taking free Cat buses or trains. One of the best hotels I have stayed in within Australia and have stayed in a few. Value for money. Eateries are close like pizza hut, kebab centre, Indonesian restaurant and Amiras Cafe opposite for a dose of caffeine. . I highly recommend this place.

I would have preferred two waste bins instead of one.

Exceptional service! I originally booked for 1 night and ended up staying for 8. All staff were helpful, whether it was at the desk related to booking changes or offering useful tips about things to do in and around Perth. I liked the honesty if they were unsure of something I was interested in, instead asking for assistance from.another colleague. Your cleaners provide exceptional service daily and helped with any special requests, from a quick change of sheets because I'd dropped chocolate on them or to borrow a towel to go to the beach. It's a great location to get to everything. Thank you

Nice clean place in cbd center I use frequently for stopovers in Perth with shops and food next door. Good value for the rooms. I always book this place when it's available and have stayed a number of times.

Having to ring a number for late night check in is kind of annoying. Should just have a bell on the front door. Could have better light blocking curtains and bottom of doors let's light in from the hallway.

Right in the heart of Perth, great location. We had a balcony room which was nice. Last minute booking as our flight was cancelled so we needed something quick, on train line and inexpensive.

Room was small. Bathroom was also very small & old-fashion with a standover bath and a shower-curtain. But was ok to stay for a day or two. TV was difficult to.operate. kettle etc hidden in a cupboard. No milk.

I liked the location being convenient to the cbd, some ‘tourist attractions’ and the free bus services.

Getting through the heavy front door into reception was awkward, for me. Is there an easier access for a wheelchair bound customer because of the one low step up and the outward opening door…not that I am but I found it tough especially with a heavy suitcase and my current weakened state of health.

It's a rather old hotel but has a classy design. There were many paintings all around the hotel and the rooms were named after European regions. I really loved the concept. The room was rather big as well which added to the comfort of our stay. Location was not bad as it's a 5-10 minute walk from the Perth station.

Perhaps the soundproofing could be improved as we could hear other guests talking as they walked past our room.
