December 2023

Had a lovely stay with my Mum and Sister as a surprise for my Mum's 60th birthday. A beautiful complimentary birthday dessert and bottle of prosecco was provided by Westin Perth along with a personal birthday note, a lovely touch to make the stay that extra bit special. A trundle bed was also added to the room (not requested but provided as additional sleeping space for us) Early check-in was permitted too which was lovely. The only thing I can comment on would be the Conditioner dispenser in the shower was empty, and no slippers were provided in the room. Apart from those 2 small things the stay was perfect :)

No slippers in the room :(

Central, good first impressions entering the property.

Detail cleaning lacking. Dust in small crevices and could see marks from adhesive in mirror on toilet door. Acceptable maybe in a 3 or 4 star property but perhaps worth a mention when we’re talking 5 stars and $450 per night. Booked two rooms for 3pm checkin. One not available until almost 4pm which is ridiculous given the price and expected 5 star experience. No sorry; no offer to deliver the new room keys to the one room we all were waiting in for the availability of the second booked room - so we could shower and get ready for the event we booked the Westin for, which we were subsequently late for.

I was on a staycation, having a little break from my carer responsibilities, Westin was perfect - location, style, comfort .. check-in was pleasant, easy, friendly .., $200 bond off credit card Room was great, spacious, as was bathroom, full view to the north and able to see the pool Extensive buffet breakfast was a treat, @$42 p.p., not bad value if you're not in a hurry, which I wasn't Otherwise there is a good range of coffee shops and lunch bars in the vicinity, and a tapas bar in the plaza.

No instructions in the room for the coffee maker, the shower taps, the clock radio, the air conditioning, room was very cool, doona was too hot, no milk left in the frig for my last morning coffee, quantity of tea and coffee stuff was not generous, mini bar prices, wicked .. Somehow/someone set security lock on my room door so I couldn't get in !!, no instructions .. then it took about 40 mins to get the door opened, staff attended promptly but needed engineering, then a guy with an ipad, then a clever guy to use a piece of metal like a coat-hanger, very impressive, a little disconcerting .. Staff were sometimes a bit thin on the ground, steak sandwich in the Haven lounge took 30 mins to come, after I reminded the staff of my order, it was fine when it did come

The property was ideally situated for our inner city wedding venue and reception. The hotel is stunning, from foyer to room and was the ideal setting for our daughter’s bridal party to prepare for her wedding celebrations. The room was large enough to accomodate her bridal gown and that of her bridesmaid very well. The view was beautiful, fitting for a wedding celebration. We greatly appreciated the staff’s attentiveness to the special nature of our stay, and the added suprise of champagne and an individualised dessert. We greatly enjoyed breakfasting at the Westin over the weekend, it completed the sense of occasion on our special family celebration.

The toilet door did not appear to be able to be closed securely

Fancy rooms, comfy bed, plenty of space so you don’t feel all cramped up.

The pool was advertised as heated but it lost definitely wasn’t. Little disappointed with two young kids who couldn’t spend too long in there.

Stayed at The Westin for 3 nights with my wife & two kids (a 1 & 3 year old) and we had a great time! The gym & pool area was great, no real shallow area for little kids but still lots of fun. Breakfast was delicious. Didn't get to try the day spa as we didn't book in advance so we went to a place across the road instead. Tried a few of the bars & restaurants in the complex which were nice.

The ragu pasta we ordered from room service was not very nice. We also got the pasta carbonara from Garum the restaurant one night and it was insanely salty, we couldn't eat much if it.

Rooms are a nice big size and give a high-end feel. Very clean, well positioned furniture and loved the electric curtains and blinds. The bathroom is also a decent size, and the beds are super comfy. I'm not a big breakfast lover, but wow, the breakfast is amazing, and there are so many options, including a gluten-free corner.

The wind ruined our time around the pool, but that Is nothing to do with the hotel.

I absolutely love this hotel! The location is perfect, just enough away from the hustle & bustle of the tourist area but an easy 5-10min walk to everything. Rooms are beautiful, clean, modern & spacious. The staff are also incredibly helpful, accommodating & kind.

We stayed 4 nights and every day except one the room was always beautifully cleaned & replenished. The one day it wasn’t, we made sure to double check that we hadn’t left the “privacy” switch on. Only towels were replaced & the cleaner hadn’t provided toilet paper or wiped down any counter space. Coffee cups were rinsed but still had stains, sugar wasn’t replenished, nor was coffee or water. We even made our own beds which was absolutely fine but a bit of a let down as the service wasn’t consistent. It really depended on which cleaner was cleaning that day. Also a brand new bottle of sunblock I hadn’t yet opened had been used as the seal was broken & a bit of sunblock oozing out the side. Not a big deal but quite unprofessional.

My family and I recently stayed at the Westin Perth for 7 nights and we were extremely happy with our experience. The hotel exceeded our expectations with top-notch services and well-trained, friendly, and helpful staff. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable and the room service was fantastic. The lounge, swimming pool, and internal restaurant areas were all great and added to the overall experience.

One of the things we loved about the hotel was its extremely central position, making it very easy to move around the city and visit shopping malls and nice stores. However, despite the convenience of its location, we were a little disappointed by the large number of homeless people we saw around the east side of the central business district (CBD). This may be a post-COVID scenario and something to keep in mind when considering the hotel's location. Overall, we highly recommend the Westin Perth for its excellent services and amenities, and would definitely stay here again in the future.

I travel abroad a lot and this hotel is one of the best I’ve stayed in. Absolutely top class in every way. Very modern and the bedrooms are stylish, large and equipped to a high standard. The restaurant food is superb and breakfast is the same quality. All the staff are very professional, caring and conscientious. The location is excellent as it’s so central and close to the shopping centres. Ten minute walk to the Swan River and all the amenities there. The outdoor infinity swimming pool and spa are located on the 5th floor. The pool catches the sun all day and there is a shaded area for lounging. a bar serving drinks and food is located there also.

N/A., everything was top class.
