Nice apartment

I booked this property solely because of the heated pool. The pool was not heated and was freezing...I was told by reception the Hester was not working, no mention of this when I booked, and don't think he really knew . Very disappointed

It was comfortable and in a good location

Could have had a few more kitchen utensils and decent tea towels. Stingy with dishwashing liquid and dishwasher powder

got upgraded on arrival to a 2-bedroom apartment. very spacious with an open plan living, dining & kitchen area. Living room led out onto a decent sized balcony (enough for 4 people to sit around a table). Kitchen fully equipped with 4-ring hob, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge freezer & dishwasher. Large dining table. 2x double bedrooms & a single bathroom with shower (over bath), sink & toilet. Utility / laundry room with washing machine & tumble dryer. All toiletries provided as well as laundry powder, dishwasher powder, washing up liquid etc. Pool & gym area located on top floor. pool towels available at the pool so no need to take your own. Maybe one downside is there is hardly any car parking available around the hotel, whether for short or overnight stays & the hotel car-park, if spaces available is quite pricey (AUD$60/night)

When I first got to the hotel there was a problem with my room. I let the reception staff, Ashwani, know and he not only fixed the problem but provided me with an upgrade. I liked that Ashwani was so attentive and concerned. Whenever he saw me downstairs he always communicated with me regarding the issue and made sure that I knew that he was on top of it. Another individual that I would like to mention is Michelle. She was very patient whilst showing me the different room options available, never once dismissing my concerns and preferences. Adi, the hotel manager left a very lovely card in my room as an apology. Overall I thought that the hotel was ok but the staff more than made up for that as they were exceptional. Also, the location of the hotel is a bit far from the city but it's close to the water and an excellent IGA.

The gym is a bit sparse and the pool is in the same room so the hours are limited. I also feared falling in to the pool whilst walking toward the exercise machines.

The location! A 24x7 convenient store 5 mins walk away. Apartment is very clean and super well equipped. You name it. They are all there, like at home. There is even a dryer. I went into deep sleep as soon as I hit the pillow. So comfortable. The food at reasonable quality and price offered by the panda bar and kitchen at the hotel is handy. Urban espresso offers not only good coffee and cakes but also presentable hot food - we loved overloaded omelette! The staff are friendly and helpful especially Adi who went extra miles to find our car in the car park for us. On site parking is handy. It’s not hard to book simply because it’s super convenient location. You can go to the city in free bus. I like the swimming pool and gym equipment at one place. Hubby likes swimming and I like gym-ming so we don’t need to go separate ways.

Swimming is a little shallow only 90cm -1.2m. Not suitable for tall people.

We are from Brisbane so we had no clue about the logistic's of Perth. I just typed in Perth and picked the Mantra due to price and trust of the Mantra brand. It ened up being exactly where we needed to be. We could walk to Elizabeth Quay to catch a ferry, walk to local cafe's and pubs. And there is a free hop on hop off bus that could take us to the shopping mall and drop us back basically right at the front door.

There was nothing not to like. We had to adjust our holiday plans, due to receiving some bad news from home and we wanted to get back to Perth to be closer to the airport. We had just driven over 7 hours to get back to Perth and when we arrived at the Mantra the front desk staff (not knowing what we were going through) greeted us in such a welcoming way, it was like a big warm hug.

Location & staff always lovely/helpful. Quiet & comfy beds/pillows. Good supply of amenities. Aircon system excellent & easy to use/adjust as needed. Flatscreen TV easy to use. Regular Red CAT shuttle bus nearby.

Two bedrm apt's kitchen not quite to standard as on previous multiple stays. Chipped glasses/mugs. Broken knife blade and dusty kitchen drawers. Oven/rack unclean. Dishwasher racks broken/uneven, but still ok to use. One bathroom despite requesting two. Just needs a bit of extra TLC...

Michelle at front office was so professional.

Had a few teething troubles but all were sorted very quickly by the staff. Would definitely return. Nice size rooms and facilities, washing machine and drier means traveling with lighter suitcase, Can't be bad. Location away from the main cbd meant it was quite end of town which for me is a plus.

A little dark in bedrooms, but was a minor issue. Distance from cbd if walking but regular efficient free bus service virtually outside so not really a problem.

Comfortable large apartment with lounge and kitchen located away from the dodgy central area of Perth. Parking was $30 with a max height of 2m which just fit my Pajero and was securely parked. There is a Chinese restaurant just off the reception area that was open on Christmas and boxing day which was very handy, nore they have no alcohol available. I would stay here again if I wanted to be in this location.

It would be nice if drinking water was provided like most places. Note you will need to bring your own drinking water.
