Beautiful and convenient location. 20 minutes bus from Innsbruck centre and bus stop is right outside the hotel. The hotel gave us free bus passes for the duration of our stay which meant we could come and go as we pleased without worrying about the cost. The hotel itself was nice and clean. Staff friendly and housekeeping excellent. Great view of the mountains from our rooms which were nice and spacious.

No AC or fans available. It was really hot during our stay but there were no fans were provided. That and the breakfast. A bit pricey for what it was and nothing was labelled in English which meant we couldn’t differentiate between vegetarian and non-vegetarian. We only had breakfast the first day but went out after that.

Lovely location in the mountains, not so far from Innsbruck. Spacious rooms, nice spa but a small swimming pool. The balcony with the mountain view was lovely. Might go back when it is snowing. It was very quiet and cozy throughout the day, The breakfast was ok but having a sparkling wine for breakfast was a nice touch.

The checkin time is at 4 PM and checkout is 11AM and I was given a call at sharp 11 to check out. Since I stayed only for a night I thought it was unfair to not have such late checkin but early checkout. The breakfast is good if you eat sausages and ham and meat but for a vegetarian it did not feel worth the price. There was no one at the spa to help with towels or no instructions, I went to the reception to ask about towels and bathrobes and had to carry them myself to the spa.

The room was nice and spacious. I loved that the hotel provided a free bus pass for tourism. I explored so much and loved visiting Innsbruck.

A fire alarm went off at 11 pm and there was no one on staff there, so all the guests vacated the hotel and waited for an exasperated fireman to shrug his shoulders. The front desk person said in the morning that a cook was there, but I think he ducked out early because there did not seem to be anyone on staff there making phone calls but guests. And anyway, I’ve never before stayed at a hotel that was not staffed overnight. Strange, but there was no fire so I guess nbd ultimately. Guests don’t expect to have to be the ones to call emergency services is all.

Got an amazing, spacious room with an excellent view of the mountains. Room got everything you might need and also a very spacious bathroom. Loved the hotel atmosphere, and super friendly staff. Loved it that it was a little bit outside of Innsbruck, in this way you were close to the nature. Perfect for hiking and unwinding in the forest. There is also a little lake close by if you fancy a swim (paid entrance). Bus connection to the city center is superb, and the bus stop is literally next to the hotel entrance. Sadly didn't have time to explore all facilities but would definitely come back.

The hotel is located in a quiet village with a beautiful outlook to the mountains and a free bus every 10 minutes to the centre of Innsbruck. The breakfasts were delicious and we also chose to eat in the hotel restaurant each night - again: delicious! There were also several other dining options in the village. All staff were very friendly and helpful . The spa (sauna and heated indoor pool) were wonderful! And there was free parking too.

It was too hot inside but windows could be opened and there was outdoor seating available on the balcony and in the garden.

We found the hotel to be clean and well run with friendly and helpful staff. Great location with stunning mountain views out the bedroom window. The bus stop is conveniently located across the road in front of the hotel, and there are regular buses connecting to either the ski slope in one direction or Innsbruck in the other. Even with a 6 & 4 year old it was easy to take the bus from the hotel to the slopes. The kids enjoyed the pool in the afternoons and I enjoyed the sauna for recovery. Meals were great with a varied and tasty selection every night. Breakfast was superb with plenty of bacon to go around.

The main criticism I have is about the bad layout of the breakfast area, which also serves as the weekday evening buffet if you're on halfboard. Whoever designed it clearly didn't put much thought in (it doesn't look very old). This aweful layout results in much congestion and people climbing over and around each other. Total chaos if you get there at the wrong time. 2nd. The bedroom didn't have any wardrobe or drawers for storing clothes, only a hanging rail by the door. Considering that we had a large double family room for 4 people I found this to be very strange as the room had more than enough space, so we ended up having piles of clothes laid out on the coffee table, chairs and window sill.

The breathtaking mountain view from my balcony was simply mesmerizing. Waking up to such a stunning panorama each morning was a treat for the soul. The spread was truly impressive, with a wide variety of delicious options to cater to every palate. Whether you prefer a hearty meal to fuel your day of adventure or a lighter fare to start your morning on a refreshing note, the breakfast buffet had it all. The quality of the food was top-notch. After a day of exploring the breathtaking surroundings, I was delighted to unwind and relax in the hotel's sauna and swimming pool facilities. The cleanliness and maintenance of these amenities were exemplary, providing me with the perfect environment to rejuvenate my body and minds. The serene ambiance coupled with the soothing warmth of the sauna and the refreshing coolness of the pool made for a truly blissful experience. Overall, my stay at Sporthotel Igls surpassed all expectations. From the attentive service of Inga at the reception to the delectable breakfast offerings, the perfect room with its stunning mountain view, and the impeccable sauna and swimming pool facilities, every aspect of my experience was nothing short of exceptional. Clean room with enough space for two people (suite room), great mountain view, nice sauna with lounge area, excellent location in 30 mins drive from the airport. I am a pescatarian which is a bit of a challenge in the Alpes, and I appreciated that the hotel breakfast included some fish and veggie options. The overall experience was great and I recommend this hotel for couples and families.

I'd suggest some minor improvements such as 1) a trash bin would be useful in the living room as there were only two small bins in the bathroom and the toilet, 2) a thinner and softer pillow as the available pillows were a way too thick and bouncy, 3) clear signage that the original hair dryer is out of order and an alternative hair dryer is provided and stored at the bathroom cabinet.

Beautiful view, good location, nice cafes nearby and gorgeous landscape. Nice spa area and gym. Nicely sized rooms. Very friendly staff. Close to the city Innsbrück.

Bed was very small and narrow, uncomfortable and flimsy/bouncy mattresses. Shower head was stopping water flow so we had to take it off. Hotel attracts International people that are not accustomed to regional Spa's. Hotel needs to display some rules on how to use saunas (people were not using towels, but sat in their bathing suits on wood). Juices and fruit was not refilled at all, area with cups was constantly untidy. Small sports and spa area considering its called a sports hotel.

Good location between Innsbruck and a ski resort. Both are conveniently reachable with a bus J, circulating with 10 min interval. Ticket for unlimited bus rides was given by the hotel with no extra charge. The hotel combines tge advantages of newly renovated facility and old tirolish charm. Food and sauna were very good. Personal was friendly. Room had a balcony with amazing mountain view. I liked also a curpark, situated within 5 min walk.
