Location: perfect for us coming from Germany, on our way to Italy (Venice) , to break the trip in two . We stayed one night. The breakfast (a buffet) was very good, with a large choice of fresh and tasty foods and drinks. Everything very clean and attractively presented. In the evening, we went into the town center by bus ( about 30 minutes away). It was easy (6€ return per person), the bus stop is about 200-300 metres from the hotel. We parked the car outside the hotel for the night (without charge) and left before the paying time started the next morning (9.a.m.). The internet was good. We would definitely stay at the Marmota hostel again if we came this way in the future.
It's quite compact, there isn't much space, but everything was nice and clean. Be aware that if you are on the 3rd floor like we were, there is no lift, so you need to be fit enough to carry your luggage. The bar closes rather early - we couldn't get a drink after 10 p.m.

Enjoyed my stay here, 2 nights in a double room and 2 in a dorm. Needless to say the private room was best, but the dorm was very spacious with just 4 single beds and a bunk. Breakfast was plentiful and filled me for the day. Worth noting the area around is entirely residential, so no cafes, bars or restaurants nearby. This is fine if staying 2-3 nights as your Welcome Card will cover the ~10 minute tram into the centre. Fun to catch a game at Tivoli Stadium as well, just a short walk away!
I'd better describe it as a hotel with a couple of dorm rooms upstairs rather than a hostel. The atmosphere isn't a sociable one as most guests are couples, famines or elderly. Not a problem, just worth being aware of.

The room is super comfy and breakfast is AMAZING! such a big selection of delicious things to drink and eat! the staff are always very kind and helpful. The tram from the train station and inner city is so easy to use and the welcome card we got was super helpful with all the means of transport! We love Marmota!
Only thing that bothered us a bit this time was we were in a room that was backed to the main staircase so in the evenings and early mornings we could hear people going up and down the stairs and that woke us up a few times.

The breakfast was very good. The hostel met all our expectations. The room was basic, but clean and tidy. We had reserved a parking space for our car right in front of the hotel, but you can also park on the street outside. The hostel has a great self-check-in service, you just do the check-in in advance online and at the hostel you program our own key-card. Very convenient for late check-ins.
The only thing we didn't like was some strange smell in the room, even though the sheets and the towels were clean, there was this smell of sweat probably from the pillows.

Staff was great, in particular the receptionist from Poland (I think her name was Ola?) very welcoming, friendly and always available for questions. The hostel itself is very modern, breakfast is included and has a wide range of options. This area is big and comfy and has a great view of the mountains. There is a luggage storage, which is very convenient if you are not leaving until the evening. I stayed in a shared room, plenty of space and there were two toilets with shower inside it. Each bed has a socket to charge your phone.
Perhaps the only downside is its location, it is a bit far from the city centre (about 40min walk) but there is a tram almost just outside the hostel or otherwise there are a number of buses that stop 5 mins away from it. However, if I were to go to Innsbruck again, I would stay here again. Good value for money and great hostel.

First of all,it felt like the whole building was brand new. Next, the person at the reception was extremely friendly and not one did she hesitate to assist me. My room had 4 beds, 2 (!) bathrooms and an actual kitchen (!), also a desk. Furthermore, It was very clean. Loved the location. Even though it's located pretty close to the Autobahn it is quiet. Fullfilling breakfart but not exerythijg was that tasty. Easily met
Could not get comfortable in the bed because the mattress was too hard for me. Did not sleep that well because of that. But could just be me!

The room was very clean and spacious enough. Hostel staff were very pleasant. The location, even tho far from the centre, is easy to reach by a tram, and has a great view over the mountains. The breakfast was also great.
The hostel is right next to a highway (which is underground), but can still be a bit noisy in the night.

The receptionist helped me with a special request during my acommodation, and also she was very kind and patient, she received us with all the information that we needed to know, they reserved a parking spot even when I was not sure about it, both receptionists spoke english, the breakfast was great and had a lot of good options, the area for resting outside looked very nice, the area for breakfast has a very beautiful and original decoration, with view to the mountains, and information about events in the city, the tables where cleaned regularly, the room was as I expected, nice, clean and exactly as the pictures showed, and it was very comfortable, the chek in can be done in person and also with a machine.
Just a detail, when we arrived everything was very clean, but they didnt change the bed clothes nor towels and didn't clean the room during our stay, but it was short stay, and I don't know of it was under request.

A surprise find a little away from the city centre (15 minutes by tram, which runs very close to the hostel). We stayed here primarily to be with a larger group of friends who were travelling on a budget for a running event, and were really happy with our choice. We shared a three-bed room, which had the most amazing view, ample of space and separate closet space in a little entrance hall separated by a door, and a large bathroom, also with a view. The hostel staff were friendly and, even though we did not use these facilities, we saw that the hostel has a room for bike and ski storage downstairs. You could also rent bikes from the hostel for 10 Euros a day. There were six tables in front of the hotel where you could take your breakfast or just sit during the day with a wonderful view of the mountains. Ambras Castle, which is definitely worth a visit, is a ten minute walk away from the hostel, through the fields.
Breakfast was quite basic but okay for the price.

The receptionist was the most nicest person I've ever had an encounter with. She was patient and really nice to everyone there. We were 3 people and got the Quadruple room. It was huge, had 2 bathrooms and it was very comfortable. The breakfast was nice and we were full for the whole day. I don't know why this is called a Hostel, when judging by the facilities it's at least a 3 star hotel. Everyone was professional. Getting there was easy. The hostel building is new and everything is fresh.
