The property is newly renovated and fairly modern, the staff was friendly and well-trained.

The spa area and the entire room climate was way too cold. It was impossible to relax without 2 blankets. Further than that, the pool cannot be reached from the spa area but you needed to go through the rain and cold to get into the water. The dinner (Wiener Schnitzel) was only average.

Great hotel with a great location and a delightful half board offer. We enjoyed everything. The direct access to the lake is stunning. Beds are very comfortable and the spa center is such a relaxing area, with a great sauna. The pool with lakeview is also incredible. We warmly recommend this recently modernized hotel.

Everything was perfect ! One comment though for other travellers : we stayed in the hotel and this was one of our best hotel experience ever. However in summertime I would probably avoid to book a room in the attached building called Steghaus : the room's windows with lakeview open above a certainly very good but overbooked restaurant and a crowded public beach. Another comment is that the terrace of the hotel is separated from the lake by an asphalt dead end road on which there are also a few parking slots : this curious site layout removes part of the natural charm to this unique environment and place.

everything was great. new and clean. great furniture and fittings, superb bathrooms. spa, sauna, pool - perfect. breakfast is VERY good - large variety. also the location is actually great - outside the resort, overlooking a lake, with plenty of options for short walks within nature. If you ski, there is a bus every 15 mins which takes you to one of the gondolas. No issue whatsoever.

The only minor thing (if at all) I can mention are the very big and heavy doors thruout the corridors and areas of the hotel. for my wife it was always problem opening them, and I saw kids struggling. but that is a really minor thing

We could not imagine a better place to celebrate our honeymoon. The hotel exceeded expectation. It was even more luxurious, well organized then it looks on the photos. All services provided were very high quality. The staff were great, polite and really helpful. Food was delicious and fresh and it is worth it to book half board with dinner. We have spend there a week and everything was great. Thank you for the great experience!

There was only one problem with my gluten and lacto intolerance husband. The waiter assured us that the plate is gluten and lacto free. We have insisted to double check with the chef, it turned out that one of the components is with gluten. This could have ruined our vacation,because the intolerance is severe, and we have informed the hotel in advance.

This hotel is a special diamond in the heat of the Austrian Alps. There are so many things to like I cannot list them all; the food was exceptional at all hours of the day, and the options for activities around the lake and at the spa were great respite after big ski days. I will 100% come back again.

They keep the heat way too high both inside the main lodge and the rooms. Even our penthouse with the heat turned off was roasting. we had to sleep with the windows open or I would wake up soaked with sweat; and I know other guests had the same experience. For being concerned about the climate, people should have more control over individual room temperature. (fan option or cooler setting). this was the only negative remark for this property and to be honest, this is a trend in all of Europe Im finding.

Beautiful newly renovated hotel right on the lake with amazing views. Food was delicious, we loved the restaurant by the lake although that was only open on Monday (not Tues or Weds). Rooms were comfortable and spa is amazing as well. Breakfast was delicious - your selection of local breakfast items hot & cold, as well as chef making fresh eggs to order. Overall staff were friendly and would return!

A few small things - We couldn't find a bottle opener anywhere in our room and staff wouldn't allow us to borrow one (said they "didn't have enough"). There are wine glasses in the room and we brought a couple bottles to enjoy but no opener... so had to walk out to the restaurant to have them open our wine, wouldn't have minded but it was 10F degrees and icy. very strange! The shuttle is just to/from the ski lift and they won't take you anywhere else - so to get into Kitzbuhel town you have to take a taxi and that can really add up (and taxis in this area don't take card so you'll need euros). Just a note that if you'd like a late checkout they charge roughly 20 euros - not really a problem but I've never seen a hotel do that, feels a bit like you're being nickel & dimed.

The hotel was in a very beautiful and quiet location, so there was no traffic or noise to spoil the amazing views. The quality of the breakfast was excellent with a vast choice and we were particularly taken with the separate rooms for cheese and breads. All staff were remarkably helpful at all times and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. I wouldn't hesitate to book this hotel another time as we enjoyed the well-equipped and large bedroom.

I cannot find a fault.

The hotel looked ever better than in the pictures. One of the best hotels I’ve visited. The swimming pool was beautiful, the food was delicious and the staff was very nice. We also had a private sauna in our room which was perfect. I also have to point out the cleanliness - everything was spotless.

The check out was a bit too early (10 AM), I would expect a later check out (ideally noon) at a hotel like this.

I was really surprised with the food!! Everything was outstanding at breakfast- from the options of bread (gluten free available) to the help yourself juice maker with all of the healthy ingredients! Dinner was always a surprise since they serve different menus every night. When it comes to the amenities, the spa was superb ! The area was always organised with clean towels and free appetizers and aromatic water. Also you could choose the temperature of the saunas you would most feel comfortable in and end swimming at the outside heated infinity pool!

The hotel transfer would only take you to Fleckalmbahn. Besides that I have nothing to complain!
