Location is just a few blocks away from the main train station. Hotel is typical Salzburg pension house on the outside but with good amenities inside. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. And for the price, it's really worth it. Really love staying here.

It's a pension house so staff availability might be limited, but you can reach them online if needed. Also, the access from the main entrance of the hotel might be a bit of a challenge if you have a wheeled luggage as it is a gravel pathway from the road up to the main entrance (Which is at the side of the building). Also elevator is weirdly located and you need to make a few upward/downward stair steps when going to your room which might be a bit of hassle if you have a heavy wheeled luggage.

(NOTE: We are a mature couple in our mid-fifties with children at University). Very pleased with our stay. The location was perfect for us - we walked with small cases to the property from the Railway Station. Easy to find and close to the main town. In fact we walked everywhere. We arrived earlier by a couple of hours and asked if we could leave our cases. However, the young lady (sorry - cannot remember her name) was very polite and helpful. She checked us in as our room was ready; very much appreciated - thank-you! The room itself was very clean, had everything we needed for our stay. Comfy bed and shower very good. The breakfast had a reasonable selection and the coffee machine worked overtime for me! We would DEFINITELY stay here again.

Everything was good for us.

The room was new, spacious, and clean. The breakfast was excellent. A walking distance to the main central station and train. Bus lines 1 & 25 that go to the old city are just across the road. The manager helped us with recommendations about different places and activities in the city.

We had a problem with water leaking out of the shower and flooding the bathroom floor. They did their best to suggest short-term solutions for us in the coming days we stayed there. There is half a floor's staircase between the room's floors and the elevator platform, so one must hand-carry his luggage for a few steps. The same breakfast dishes were served on the days we were there.

We had a great stay and would definitely book here again when coming back to Salzburg! - good location in the city center with a short walk to the river. - the room was very clean and everything was new. The use of space in the design was done really well, even though our room was small it had all the facilities and amenities designed in a smart way where it didn't feel cramped. - the staff were super friendly and big compliments to the breakfast chef - the food was great and you could tell he was so passionate about his food. - the entire hotel was really clean and there was great attention to detail in everything. They have an online system for check-in pre-arrival and communicating with guests.

The only comment I would make here is that there is parking available at the back of the hotel, however there is a charge of 10euro/night. For the price of the room per night, I think that there shouldn't be a parking fee.

Location is very near the train/ bus station (hbf). We stayed in superior double room,it was comfortable and well maintained., kettle and fridge were present. The breakfast was good, with vegetarian assortment's also. The person in charge was very courteous and took personal care of us.

From the main road the entrance is on the side, their is no path to the entrance and if you have luggage you will have to roll it over the stoney gravel, difficult task,spoil the wheels. If you are arriving early entrance is strictly at 2 pm check in time as door is closed,so we could not leave our bags in their luggage room and visit the city. Other wise it was a pleasant stay.

Everything! We had a fantastic stay at Villa Flockner. Exceptionally clean, very comfortable bedroom and the breakfasts were amazing. We would like to thank the chef, Laszlo, who went out of his way to ensure we were well fed.His cooking and choice of dishes were great, thank you! Villa Flockner is in a great location, a ten minute walk from Salzburg train station and the Danube is just a five minute walk so we could enjoy a walk into the city. There is a regular bus route that goes into the city and also to Salzburg airport. We are looking forward to our next visit!

The building is brand new, so everything looks and works great. There's external sound-proofing, which is very welcome given the construction that was going on in the street. The decor is clean and modern. The AC was a life-saver in the summer heat. The staff are helpful and friendly.

The hotel is fairly far from the city center, about 20-30 mins of walking. This wasn't a particular problem for us as we were primarily visiting outside the city, but it does mean that there are few restaurant options around. Breakfast is until 10:00 AM, which is just too early for a vacation.

I couldn't even find any cons, because we had everything we would need in the hotel. The mountain view from our room terrace was fantastic. Our room was equipped with everything we needed and was very clean. The hotel "Villa Flöckner Bed & Breakfast" is clean and super comfortable, the hosts of this cozy place are very pleasant, a huge thanks to them. We received a small gift when we were checking out, that was so nice. The location of the hotel is convenient: it is close both to the main railway station and to the all sights. The shop with original Salzburg Mozartkugeln is also very close to the hotel, I would recommend everyone to taste these sweets. I would like to mention the breakfast - we had the room with the breakfast included, and it was really good. To sum up, we had a wonderful time in the hotel, and I am sure during our next visit to Salzburg we will stay here. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The breakfast was adequate esp for a 1 or 2 night stay. Not much fresh fruit or cereal options. Kitchen host was very friendly.

The room was small with an odd configuration with the sink/shower on one side of the bed and the commode on the other. You have to walk around the bed to get from side to side. It is located in a nice neighborhood close to the train station. But it is a fair walk into town. This did not bother us as we like to walk and there is a beautiful walking path along the river that is very convenient to Villa Flockner and leads right into the old town and tourist areas.

From check in to check out,everything was great. Very friendly and helpful receptionist at check in and check out time ( forgot their names, ) . He gave us great advise where to go for good Wiener schnitzel ( we went to Bräu Salzburg, schnitzel was excellent, but reservation may be needed at times) what interesting things were there to see or visit,and what to do in Salzburg Rooms were spotless, bathroom sparkly clean,equipped with rain shower. Water was hot,pressure excellent, ,bed mattresses firm but comfortable. There was 4 of us,and we stayed in superior family room nr. 13,on second floor - (Villa has an elevator ) which was actually 2 smaller rooms but spacious enough for all of our needs. One room had balcony,and you can divide the rooms by closing a folding door / shutters at night . I would recommend this room to family of 4 or close friends, because access to the bathroom is thru that second room Area was very quiet at night,it's walking distance - 15minutes from main train station, Hauptbahnhoff. You have parking lot at the property for 8 euros per night which is a bargain compared with the prices to pay for parking in the area. Breakfast was absolutely fresh,plentiful, delicious, 3 various dishes with hot food, coffee strong and very tasty. Lot of fresh bakery products, tasty berliners( donuts) jams,fresh fruit........ Attendant was helpful with seating us,bringing the coffee to our table,and encouraging us to eat well so we won't be hungry It's clearly family run B&B and they do everything to make sure their guests enjoy their stay . We may go to Salzburg in the future again, and I won't even bother to look for another place to stay.......this one is a winner for me and I will book our next stay with them without any hesitation. We looked hard to find something negative about our stay.
