The hotel is easily accessible from the airport and very well located, just a short walk from Schwedenplatz Ubahn station and the city centre with its many bars and restaurants. We were impressed by the friendly staff especially “Armi” who could not have been more helpful. Reception is friendly and welcoming with plenty of space to relax. Unfortunately the bar, which is really a self service fridge and wine dispenser is not really a bar in my definition of such. The wine dispenser was out of order, but although staff were on hand to serve us this was not the same as in a regular bar and really put us off using it more than once. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and a convivial and friendly atmosphere with attentive and friendly staff. Our room was on the second floor and was well appointed with a large bed, a desk and chair as well as an extra lounge chair. The bathroom was also well fitted, with walk in shower and wash hand basin. There was also a large and well illuminated heated mirror. Finally there was a safe for valuables. Our room was cleaned daily and towels changed frequently. We were delighted with our stay and have only marked down one point because the bar could not really be described as such and the wine dispenser had apparently been inoperative for some time before we arrived and had not been repaired by the end of our stay.

You are not in the heart of attractions but very close to all of them, like in 10-15 walking distance. From the airport, the bus where you get off is also 5-10 mins by walk to get to the hotel. The staff is extremely helpful, the breakfast is very good. We travelled with our 3-year-old and the room had enough space (double with extra bed). The extra bed was a little uncomfortable but still it was ok. The audio channel that's opened automatically when the TV is on was very nice and added a nice ambiance to the moment. The luggage storage service was also a big plus.

Apart from the problems mentioned, the overall experience was good: the room was comfortable, there was enough space, and the bathroom was very functional and clean. I did not have breakfast in the hotel. The location was quite good, close to the centre.

The main problem was with the cleaning staff, which would just enter the room every morning while I was still there with my boyfriend. This was certainly very unpleasant, since I almost felt like I had no privacy during my morning routine. It stressed me out quite a lot. The other minor issue was the lobby. Since it was under construction/renovation, I expected some kind of discount or benefits for it, because I was not enjoying the true atmosphere of the hotel every time I entered or left the building.

Our room was very spacious with a couch and extremely quiet. We heard nothing from outside our room the entire three night stay and we were next to an elevator. Their parking garage entrance is right next to the hotel front door and has limited parking spots for 25 euro/ day. Restaurants and coffee shops within a block walk, and just a 10 minute walk to old town city center. Reception staff were very friendly! 5 minute walk to a hop on bus which we like to get acclimated to the city.

Rooms are very up to date and modern, we stayed in a double room and it was spacious enough. Beds were fine the bathroom was excellent can't fault it one bit. Hotel is located within a 5 minute walk to underground and tram connections and is a 10 minute walk from the centre. There are convenience stores within a minute walk of the hotel and a few cafe's next to the hotel.

Couldn't really find a fault with anything, the reception area is currently being renovated (Nov 2023) but didn't cause a disturbance to our stay at all.

Breakfast was great! They had great variety! The staff at the breakfast were very polite! Although I missed some sunny side up eggs! The best thing about our stay is that our room was ready since the morning and we didn't have to wait until 3 pm! They have fulfilled our requirement for an early check-in. The hotel was very close to the airport and to the city Centre. Very easy access with tram and underground!

The bathroom door wouldn't close properly. We were given a room outside of the office and the staff were quite noisy. The cleaning ladies came into the room twice, while we were inside.

It was clean and convenient

I gave the staff my luggage in the morning because I couldn’t check in yet, and they forgot to label it with my name even though I had asked them to make sure since I saw them do it for other guests but not with my stuff. I ended up with someone else’s luggage and had to make sure my luggage was still in the building, which was stressful. Luckily they found my bags.

The location and room are perfect. We got a quiet room as we wanted and we really slept like babies. It's close to the city center so we didn't use a car the whole 5 days we were in Vienna.

The parking fee was kinda a lot for a day. Also, there was annoying staff in the breakfast area all the time asking us about 3G papers. I thought if you are in a hotel showing you have a test you are done. But not. Every day they want another proof. The excuse was that they are not the same company. Plus - they weren't wearing masks all of them. I know it's not their fault. But it was annoying. Also, breakfast itself was the same every single day. Which is kind of boring if you are staying 4 days like we did.

The location of the hotel was perfect. Staffs were very welcoming especially Ms. Aleyna was very helpful and she was very polite. Special thanks to her hospitality. Rooms and the facility in general was very clean. We left very happy from our hotel choice. I would definitely recommend.

Breakfast was better than expected with hot and cold items, fresh fruits, and even cakes. Having only 1 coffee machine though meant really long waits. King-size bed was comfortable. Liked having kettle in our room and Fruit Selection tea supplied was excellent.

Bathroom was very small and soap bottle screwed into wall located in bathtub, so very difficult to reach to wash hands w/o water on the floor. Didn’t like having bathtub. Would prefer shower only like other Mercure hotels offer. Also, would have been nice to have some body lotion and free minibar drinks supplied as in other Mercure Hotels.
