The value for money is very high and the staff is incredibly polite and helpful. Very clean. The bathroom is very functional, better than more pricey hotels I have seen. Love the shower with (for once) clear indications on how it works. It also has a Perfect location near a metro station and within walking distance from the main Vienna sites. The breakfast is also very good in a nice large airy room. I would return.

We were lucky not to have noisy neighbours because the walls seem thin and we were is a room next to the elevator which was a bit noisy but not that much. No matter, given the positive sides, I would return because the hotel has a lot going for itself, mostly staff and location. Be careful this is next to the 'Mercure Zentrum', same brand but a little bit more expensive and larger rooms (been there too).

the location is perfect, staff were very friendly and helpful and the room and general hotel were comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. there are lots of restaurants, cafes and shops in the immediate area and 2 u-Bahn stations (Schwedenplatz and Stephansplatz) and trams within 5 mins walk. there were complimentary drinks in the minibar (still and sparkling water, juice and cola) and the beds were comfortable, bathroom modern and a great shower. there were also robes and slippers, large bottles of toiletries and some complimentary toothbrushes, shower cap etc. there is only one lift but we didn’t have to wait for it at all. didn’t have breakfast or use the restaurant area but it looked very nice and we saw a lot of people in there. we also arrived early for check in and were able to get to our room straight away, and the check out time was 12pm which is later than other places. we were able to store our luggage after check out and the receptionist offered to help with a taxi.

at night there is some noise from bars in the area but this is nothing to do with the hotel and you can see on a map that the bars are there so you should check before booking if this would be a problem for you

lovely decor, excellent location very near to bars and restaurants but still stayed quiet (we were never kept awake by any noise), lovely and cool in our room despite the heat, Schwedenzplatz station less than a 5 minute walk, Stephansdom about the same, Anker Clock just a couple of minutes round the corner. Shakespeare book company bookshop just across the square, could have spent hours in there! Very easy to get to from the airport. The bathroom was very well designed and surprisingly spacious for an inner city hotel. The room had a boutique-y feel but wasn’t at all cramped and had a little fridge which was great for storing our non-dairy milk and snacks. Everything we could have needed was in our room, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Would happily stay here again.

Only the old classic request of a power point nearer to the mirror would have made a difference- other than that everything was spot on!

Great location, walking distance from everything, clean, furnished room, won’t miss anything

The only problem I had was the constant noise in the room - day and night (I must mention that I stayed here only during the weekend, maybe during the week things are better). Right outside the hotel there are a lot of bars and people are actually screaming, it’s like an ongoing party. Are in respect to the hotel, the walls are so very thin that I could hear the neighbours sneeze and the water moving in their bathtub. This makes it difficult to have a good night sleeep. Also, in the morning, while we were still sleeping (approx 9AM) the cleaning lady literally walked inside the room.. I think that it’s kind of early for cleaning.. If you wake me up, I don’t care you leave afterwards. Pillows need to be completely changed, they are worn out and distroyed.

The position was exceptional, at walking distance from all the main attractions in the city center. The hotel was also very close to subway stations to reach places such as the Schonbrunn Palace and the Belvedere Gallery in about 30 mins. The hotel was nearby not only traditional restaurants and supermarkets, but also international eateries such as McDonald's, Starbucks and Hard Rock Cafè. The staff was nice, and the room was clean.

The standard room was a little small if you travel with more than one big suitcase.

The hotel is in a good area, a few minutes to public transport (tram and subway) and just some minutes away from the main part of the city center and attractions. There are also quite a few restaurants, bars and stores around - and no noise complaints from us :) The room was big and had everything we needed (safe, mini-fridge, TV...), the bathroom was also spacious. The staff was helpful and friendly and, even though we arrived early for check-in, we were able to get to our room straight away.

We were firstly given the wrong room upon checking-in, which was quickly fixed by the staff.

Great location & very easy to walk to the centre of the city or to the nearest metro station. Room was on the second floor & did not hear any noise from outside even though there are a couple of bars nearby. Room was great & had a fridge with complimentary still & sparkling water, also tea & coffee making facilities.

The bar/restaurant is quite small, but there is a lounge area in the reception. We wanted drinks before going out to eat & there was no where to sit in the bar but we were able to sit in the reception area. The restaurant was not open on the Sunday but we were advised we could go to the other Mercure Hotel just down the road.

The hotel is very well positioned with easy access to underground and lots of places to eat and drink within just a minute walk. The room was very clean and well maintained and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

I would have liked a proper wardrobe rather than just hanging hooks for clothes (or at least coathangers on the hooks). Also an iron and ironing board in the room - although it was possible to have one sent up on request. The housekeeping staff should not use the elevator at peak times as this sometimes meant a long time to wait.

The room is nice and it has complementary water bottles, cofee and tea. The location is perfect if you don´t have a car since they don´t have a parking next to the hotel. Lots of great places to eat nearby and just a five minute walk away from the town centre. The breakfast is great. We ordered room service twice for dinner and it was very good, too.

What i found a little bit inconvenient is to carry all the suitcases from the car/taxi. You cannot get by car to the front door so if you have too much luggage it´s gonna be hard work to take them to the hotel.

Very friendly and helpful staff from the reception to the breakfast crew. Room was nice and very clean, we particularly liked the shampoo products in use. Breakfast had good variety and very nice fresh bread every day. Location was ideal for exploring Vienna!

Pillows were a bit on the thin side if that is important for you, and two separate smaller duvets instead of a big one. Coffee on the breakfast not very strong depending on your preferences. Overall satisfied with the stay!
