The location is very central. It is walking distance from the "Hauptbahnhof" , central train station. Everything is more than enough and practical in a room for a one night stay.

My check-in time was when there was no reception contact. Therefore, they left the digital card in a coded box nearby which was required both to enter the hotel and the room I would stay in and sent me instructions via private message. I got the card following the rules. Next, when I wanted to go to the hotel, I went to Favoriten Street 19, which was clearly mentioned in the message, but there was no hotel there. Because the hotel was located at 19 Laxenburger Street according to the digital card I had taken from the safe box. I spent half an hour in the middle of the night with a broken internet trying to get to the right address.

Everything was very nice, super polite staff!!! Great location, few minutes to metro station and some small shopping mall. The room was very quiet, nicely decorated and super clean. The Italian restaurant in the hotel was amazing!!! Definitely coming back!

Wow! This hotel went way beyond our expectations and is one of the rare hotels that make us want to stay longer. 10/10 experience at a very reasonable rate. Sky high ceilings, brand new, spacious, sparkling clean rooms that have been designed with a lot of thought and quality material, from the toilet to the shower gel, shower hose, hair dryer, to the curtains and bed headboard with shelves. Their standard rooms are so spacious they even include a medium size sofa which adds an extra touch to make the room more comfortable to spend time in. Not to mention, it’s conveniently next to a large BILLA supermarket/mall, and a few min walk from the central train station. We wish we could stay for more nights, but the next time we are in Vienna we will return!

Very minor, but we wish there was a kettle and fridge in the room, since we were close to the supermarket and could have tried a lot of domestic products and beer.

My stay at Kolbeck in Vienna, Austria, was nothing short of exceptional, and the room I had was a significant part of that experience. What stood out the most was the incredible sense of space and comfort in my room. Despite not spending a lot of time inside, it was a pleasure to have plenty of room to relax and unwind. One of the pleasant surprises was the presence of a Lavazza espresso coffee maker in the room. This thoughtful addition allowed me to start my mornings with a delicious cup of coffee, all from the comfort of my room. The room featured excellent air conditioning, which was a real lifesaver during the hot Vienna summer days. It ensured that I could always return to a cool and comfortable environment after a day of exploring the city. The bed was a true highlight, offering a level of comfort that made my nights exceptionally restful and rejuvenating. After long days of sightseeing, sinking into that cozy bed was pure bliss. In terms of location, the hotel's position in Vienna's 10th district, Favoriten, was incredibly convenient. It was centrally located, with Vienna Hauptbahnhof (the main train station) just a stone's throw away. This made it easy for me to access the S-Bahn, regional trains, buses, trams, and the U-Bahn, making my exploration of Vienna incredibly efficient. Moreover, the proximity to the Kepplerplatz U1 subway stop made it even more convenient to access different parts of the city. Streetcar stops were conveniently located just across the street, adding to the ease of getting around. The hotel's location was not only convenient for transportation but also for dining and shopping. I discovered several charming cafes and restaurants nearby, allowing me to experience the local culinary scene. Additionally, there was a Billa+ supermarket just across the plaza, making it incredibly convenient to pick up any essentials or snacks. To sum it up, it was amazing and I HIGHLY recommend it!

We had got the train to Vienna so arrived in the morning and wanted to drop our bags. But rather than just drop our bags we were checkin early and upgraded to a larger room that was available then (at no extra cost) as the room we had booked hadn't been cleaned yet. The room was airy and very clean. It was decorated nicely and the bathroom was of a good size with a large shower. The bed was extremely comfortable. Staff were very friendly and went above and beyond to be accommodating. We were only staying a night and wanted to leave our bags before catching another train again in the evening and this was again no problem - we could return at any point. The location is very close to the main station and an U-Bahn stop was a very short walk away. Would highly recommend staying and for more than the single night we had in Vienna!

The hotel was beautiful! Very modern and very clean, just been refurbished to high standar. The hotel manager/owner was really nice, he was so welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. The 2 restaurants that are part of the hotel was amazing food, one Italian and one Viennese food,so you wouldn't struggle finding good places to eat. The location was great too, only 15 minutes on a train from the airport and right next to the underground station to get you straight into Vienna centre. 100% recommended this hotel. We will be back!

The stay overall has been very satisfactory, the staff was welcoming and kind upon checking in. Major props to the cleaning service, as both the bedroom and the bathroom were spotless.

The area is not the greatest, it is near the central train station, though I am told that Vienna is a pretty safe city overall, even in the "roughest" areas. I also have one little incident to report, as one of the staff members at the bar downstairs was not rude but also not exactly kind either. I have been informed though that the venue downstairs is an Italian restaurant, so it may be effectively independent from the hotel.

The attention and energy of host! I was delightful how perfect everything was! As a backpack traveler, I appreciated that super hot water in shower and water pressure! Room was clean, everything new! Loved! I stayed with the feeling that I want to stay for another night! Loved their cafe - pizza was one of the best what was tried ( my relatives live in Italy, so I have with what to compare). Next day wanted to ask about the possibility to leave my backpack for a chance to visit a museum - I even didn’t start my question, when the host offered that themselves! Appreciate! Thank you very much! Location and AC were bonuses! And coffee machine in room!
