The staff was nice. The room was well furnished, even if I needed a desk to work and the one I had was a bit small. The position is nice: close to Stadpark and to the train station for the airport and for the city centre, which is 15 min walk far, by the way. Plus, there is also the city mall in the station close by. The breakfast was wonderful as well as dinner, the food was really good. I feel to recommend this hotel.

The price was really high (more than 200€ per night), I know in Wien these are the costs, but I still think that it was too much for the offered services. There was a flyer for the TV channels, and most of the channels didn't have the signals (I tried the English and Italian channels, which didn't work at all and for the German ones, I think most of them worked). The carpet was not properly cleaned, in my opinion.

Room was unique, lovely area, easy to get around. We liked the vibe in the area.

Check in time was quite late. Shower in bathroom was impossible because of slope of roof. Breakfast too expensive.

great location, close to Wien Mitte, very good breakfast - they make you any type of eggs that you want on the spot. they have 24/7 reception service which was very good as we arrived at 0130. The beds were comfortable but the furniture was a bit old. The bathroom and shower were modern and clean

It was a bit expensive, there was no mirror in the room at all, just in the bathroom. There wasn't any fresh juice at breakfast, just the extra sweet, sugar full industrial stuff in bottles.

The room we booked was big and comfortable, there was a place to sit. Breakfasts were on a level but without much variation. Big plus for the organic juices and a glass of prosecco on the weekend. It is close to the tram and the metro, a lot of restaurants in the neighbourhood.

This is a large establishment, and two elevators is not enough especially that the staircases are somewhat hidden and not directly accessible from the lobby. The bathrooms seemed a bit cramped and the room needs to be renovated not too far into the future as it shows signs of wear and tear.

Great location, great staff, good room size, comfortable beds (took a twin room). Also, there's a free walking tour every Saturday starting at the city center. I highly recommend it, we had Margaret as our guide, and she was very fun and knowledgeable.

The ceiling is very low at some parts of the room and bathtub. I'm 1.63m short and I still managed to hit my head at the ceiling above the bathtub. There is a spot there where I could stand up straight, but a few cm extra and I wouldn't have been able to do it. If it matters to you, then maybe ask not to be put in these kind of rooms. Attached photos to demonstrate the ceiling's hight (my friend is 1.5m tall, I'm 1.63m tall)

The location of this hotel is great for the centre of Vienna and very close to the main station. The hotel is very well kept and spotless. It was also quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. We did have an evening meal on the first night and this also was very good with attentive staff who were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were similar but also quite individual in size as the building is from the 18th century and had many original features.

The beds were quite hard although that didn't stop me sleeping (personal preference). Nothing else to dislike.

Hotel very well located, considering our plans. Breakfast is very good, the only thing missing is that the orange juice is packaged and not natural - but during our stay in Austria it was one of the best. The room is very beautiful and totally reminiscent of the imperial decor of Austria. After check in, they kept our bags for us until needed.

The shower had very little pressure, which doesn't help with washing women's hair and is not what you're looking for to relax after a tiring day at work. The room smelled of cigarettes despite saying it was a non-smoking room. The sink was broken and wouldn't let the water drain and if it wasn't for our insistence they would only find out the next day.

The hotel is a large, old building with lots of charm and character. Location is good, with the nearest train station a direct link to the airport train. The local area is full of cafes and restaurants and isn't far from major attractions which was good as we were only in Vienna for two days. Rooms were a good size, beds firm and comfortable. Staff were very helpful with tips on where to go in the city, particularly the Christmas markets. Breakfast was not to be missed, a huge variety of food and very tasty.

This hotel is located along a quaint cobbled walkway, away from the main road which has a selection of boutiques and bars. We had a quiet, double room on the 3rd floor which was very clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable and there was a fridge in the room, which was very useful. A kettle is also included with a variety of hot drinks available. The air-con certainly came in handy as the weather was hot. There were plenty of towels, toilet rolls, tissues, soap and body lotion .The hotel is easy to locate and sits between 2 stations on the Vienna underground. We caught the CAT from the airport, which is a 16 min direct journey to Landstrasse and then walked 7 mins to the hotel. Breakfast was included and there was an incredible choice, including gluten free. There were many nationalities staying at the hotel and clearly it is popular with touring holidays. There is an outside space available from breakfast until late evening. We didn't have dinner at the hotel, but the menu looked good. The staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly, providing an excellent service. The location is great to get into the centre of Vienna via the underground, or if you prefer to walk it's all on the flat. There is plenty to see and lots of restaurants and cafes nearby, together with a daily market near the underground station and supermarkets; if you need any supplies. The hotel has a policy to help children in need if you decide to forgo cleaning during your stay and as we were there only 3 nights, we did this. Such a good idea and far less wasteful. I would certainly recommend this hotel, it was a great stay.

Towels could have been softer.

I recently stayed at the Mercure Hotel in Vienna and had an overall positive experience. The location of the hotel is excellent, making it easy to explore the city's attractions.

I would rate the state of the room 4/5 because the walls were not as clean as I would have liked. Additionally, the view from my room was a bit disappointing, receiving a 3/5, as it overlooked the yard rather than the street.
