For customers who are satisfied with "all that you need", this pension is perfect. I totally appreciated the large room with the big window and comfortable bed, The private bathroom was clean with hot water and fresh towels. Breakfast was fresh and varied and there was plenty of it! I really appreciated the generous serving of orange juice and hot coffee. Service was relaxed and friendly. The location is wonderful, just a short walk from all the action near Stephansdom if that's what you like, with a nice variety of comfortable and informal places to find food and drink nearby.

Large room with private shower and comfortable bed. The private toilet was just nearby off the corridor. The host was lovely and the included breakfast was excellent (there were various breads, cheese, meats, avocado, eggs, yoghurt, oats, fruit and more). Also the coffee shop right next to the entrance to the building, Die Cafetière, had excellent coffee.

If you're sensitive to noise this might not be the place for you as there was the background noise of traffic (though not much during the night) and the walls are thin (though luckily my neighbours were pretty quiet). Earplugs are an easy solution. Also no ceiling fan.

Room was spacious and clean. Towels were provided. Breakfast was prepared by the staff every day - exceptional effort! I personally loved the food even though it was a small selection (various types of cheese, yogurt, eggs upon request, selection of hams, selection of bread). Location is great because it is very near a lot of tourist attractions, Cafe Central being one.

The drain in the bath seems to be slightly clogged - water went down pretty slowly. Never overflowed while I was there though so I suppose it's still in working condition

A great family pension with cozy feeling in the centre of Vienna. All the facility is spotlessly clean, rooms are spacious enough (I traveled alone and could totally see my room acommodating two people). There was a separate shower in the room and a toilet in the corridor, which absolutely did not bother me as I had it for myself and it was, as the rest of the place, very clean. Breakfast was amazing, good coffee and unexpected variety of bread. The location is perfect with Stepansdome and the historic centre being walking distance away while it's still very quiet. To top it off the owner, Veronika is very helpful. I would definitely consider staying again if coming back to Vienna.

As some mentioned the facility's equipment is a bit worn our BUT this in no way affects the general impression as it really is very well taken care of and clean. To me personally, it even added to the homey and cozy vibe of the place.

I had a very warm welcome and instantly felt appreciated. The room is exactly what you need for a short stay. The bed is confortable and the small bathroom has everything you might need. It's not luxurious by any means but it has everything you can ask for. On my last day I had to leave very early right when breakfast starts at 7:30. The person making the breakfast noticed and went the extramile so I could have a small breakfast at 7:15 already which was very nice of them. Pension Lerner is located at the "Graben" and within a 2min walk you are at the center with all the famous restaurants like "Zum schwarzen Kamel" and luxury shops like Dior and Yves Saint Laurent.

This is a modest old-fashioned pension that provided everything I needed to be comfortable. The place looks nice with high ceilings and old prints on the walls. The bedroom was small but perfectly adequate, and the bed was comfortable; the room was completely quiet. Breakfast was great with good variety including eggs, and nicely served at the table. It was really helpful to have an elevator. I enjoyed this part of town by Freyung, a grand square with a big Baroque church and plenty of restaurants around. I found the staff very helpful and kind, with suggestions of where to eat and the offer to leave my luggage the next morning. I thoroughly recommend this pension as a modestly-priced, pleasant place to stay in Vienna.

I caught a bad cold upon my arrival in Vienna, so I spent quite a lot of my 2 days there at the B&B. The owner was absolutely lovely and helpful. The (double) room was comfortable and the breakfast was rich and excellent (I had the vegetarian one). I had to leave for the airport at 4am so the owner made 2 delicious sandwiches for me to take with me! So lovely! The location is perfect, 5-10 minutes walk from everything that matters, and it feels very safe walking in that area late at night.

I would have loved having a kettle in my room (though on the second day the owner told me I was welcome to just come to the kitchen and make myself tea whenever I wanted). The sound insulation could have been better, the noise from the reception desk woke me up in one of the mornings.

Very friendly, flexible and helpful hostess, warm environment, right in the middle of the centre, high ceilings, great cleanliness, wonderful breakfast served in cosy separate room (even with separate question if I would like an egg, and how I want it made), comfortable bed/ding, speedy WiFi. Wunderbar!

Sounds from other rooms are quite easily heard. Slight mould high up on ceiling in bathroom (not easy to maintain that though, I reckon... and again, minor). Toilet outside of room (but this was made very clear upfront). Street side room not ideal, but it is not a very busy street at all and there is a double window that makes quite a difference.

Pension Lerner was an amazing place to stay and spent some days in Vienna. The room was spacious, clean, well equipped and with a nice vintage style. It is 10 mins by walk to city center and the neighbourhood is quite and safe. The owner of the pension is a nice elegant lady, ready to help you with anything and to make you feel comfortable. The breakfast aslo was so delicious and the lady also helped us keeping our luggages at the pension even though we had done the checkout , but our flight was late at night and we wanted to explore the city. We totally recommened it!😊

loved it’s location. really nice sized room. the breakfasts were great, setting us up for the day wonderfully. the hotel was also very good value for money. our host was most accommodating as we arrived after their reception closed. Veronika had to dash back from opening up an apartment elsewhere in the city to let us in!

there was nothing that we disliked about the property. The one addition that would have been welcome would have been a kettle to allow us to make hot drinks after a full day out.
