Location for us was perfect as we walked everywhere during our stay. It is also within a short walk of the underground, trams and bus stations. The room/hotel is not a new modern building and our room was basic but had everything required for our stay. However, it does have plenty of character and the staff are very friendly and helpful. They even gave my wife a bottle of wine and a card as it was her birthday (which we had not mentioned to them). The breakfasts every morning are more than adequate, with a very good selection for most people. Plenty to keep us going throughout the day.

In our room there where a couple of minor areas which could of easily been rectified. Damage to doors and handle mainly cosmetic . This did not affect our stay though.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. I was worried about the lack of air-conditioning that particular weekend but the room was quite comfortable as the windows facing the courtyard don’t get direct sun. Also a fan was provided. The breakfast was modest but sufficient.

The WiFi didn’t seem to work properly even when I asked the front desk to reboot. The price seemed a little steep but it may have been due to demand for rooms the weekend of Taylor Swift concerts. Location would have been excellent if the closest U4 stop had been running in both directions.

The location was close to transport, metro station, tram and buses, some restaurants and Hofer supermarket close by also approximately 15 mins walk to several tourist attractions such as St Stephens Cathedral, Hofberg Palace, Rathaus. The Hotel room was small - but that was expected as it is Europe - quiet and very clean, breakfast was more than adequate, with juices, cereal, eggs, cheeses and a selection of meats and antipasto, bread, jams fresh fruit and tea or coffee. There is a lift and the staff were very happy and helpful with a 24 hour reception, would definitely stay here again. Thank you to all the staff

A separate shower as it is difficult for older people to have to climb into and out of the bath to shower.

This is a small hotel located in an upscale and safe neighborhood offering convenient proximity to the public communications (tram/subway), city center, restaurants and key tourist attractions. The staff were very kind and friendly.

The breakfast was little expensive but there are a bakeries within a short walk from the hotel that offer a wide variety of breakfast and coffee drinks. The interior is old but in a good condition.

Very nice breakfast buffet: it is worth your money! The location is outstanding: the Börse streetcar station is at a 5-minute walk, and the rooms I had (reserved one twice at different times) were pretty good. Carpeting needs to be cleaned or changed in a some areas, but the place is clean. Very good value for you money.

There are some minor repairs to be done for instance in the shower if the second room I got: one of the doors had the plastic panel falling out.

Staff were friendly, breakfast was great (but no hot food available), location was quiet but close enough walk to main attractions. Bed was very comfy. Felt very safe as a lone female traveller.

No air conditioning but a fan was provided - and I expected this due to reading previous reviews. Room was basic but comfortable but felt a little overpriced. However, it was my first time in Austria so no has comparison.

Very friendly staff, good location.

Poor sound insulation. The room was clean but in need of updating, with tired fashion. A hole in the curtain in a visible place. The phone was hidden behind the corner of the curtain near the floor, as if it had been lifted from the front. The walls were full of black scratches. In the common corridor by the stairs, the door link had caused a hole in the wall when it touched the wall. Otherwise, the room was clean and tidy, but it needs updating.

The "location" was the best, about 5 minutes from the station. The "breakfast" ingredients were fresh and the dining room was clean. I was surprised that a hotel of this class had a "safe". The "elevator" was also helpful when going up and down.

The "door key" was old and I had to be locked even after entering the room. There was only one "outlet", so there was no outlet for the refrigerator.

The breakfast room was an enjoyable room to be in. The variety of food available was excellent

I couldn't get the television to work. The windows were difficult to close because of the amount of curtain.

Hotel in rather quiet city street. The rooms are at the 2nd floor, to be reached by elevator or stairs. Rooms have different sqm sizes. Equipped with carpets - we don't suffer from hdm allergies though. Our room was quite large with semi-double bed. Breakfast is excellent. Location fine, near restaurants, public transport and several shops & supermarkets.

Bed mattresses were a bit worn out. Heavily used and need replacement?
