Unique art deco room, good value for money as we get superior room that had a huge bed and a large bathroom. Bed was clean and had large opening windows, comfortable chairs and a ottoman that could extend into a second bed (didn't use this bed). Stylish small bar at the bottom of hotel with friendly service and nice drinks. Location is good as close to large shopping street with a large selection of shopping brands. Fairly close to old town and walk there is pleasant.

No lift did make 4 floors a little tedious to walk up with bags; however it was made very clear that installing a lift wasn't possible due to the historic nature of the building. I'm sure they would've helped carry the bags if needed! Food was quite expensive so didn't try any.

Unique room with a tub in the middle of the room! Huge room with big windows, luckily came with a fan as it got pretty hot. Staff seemed nice and friendly.

It's a restaurant that has a few rooms, not exactly a hotel. Which is fair enough, but something to be aware of. Would like a door to the toilet, not just a curtain. But this is definitely a room for someone who knows each other very well!

Location wasn't too bad, about a 10-minute walk into the centre. But lots of shops and bars nearby. Room was superb. Bed was really comfortable. Shower was great. It does look into the bedroom, okay for a couple. Might be awkward if travelling with others. Balcony doors all opened wide, which helped cool the room. Staff polite and friendly.

Alot of stairs which we were aware of but not quite ready for it being on 3rd floor. Small fan was not quite efficient enough in the warm temperatures.

I spent only one night in the hotel but my experience was really nice. The hotel is small with the enter from the restaurant. I had a spacious room with 3 windows and big bed. It was a nice view to the church with a nice bell's music every hour. I really liked the style of my room (the glass wall between the bedroom and the bathroom will add a romantic touch if you are in couple). I guess that not every room is like was mine. I had a room #9 on the 3d floor.

I may have got lucky with the room but mine was a gem. I thought there was no shower but had failed to factor in the enormous stand-alone fin de siècle bath in the middle of the floor. Art Nouveau, with a small, elegant bar and breakfast room. Small and backstreet. I toyed with not writing it up because I don't want the secret to get out. Great continental breakfast.

Building work nearby was noisy in the morning. The ancient floorboards creak - but is that a bad thing? The centre of Brussels is a nightmare for all cars, including taxis.

This very compact hotel is a genuine Art Nouveau treasure with its furnishings, mirrors and windows on the ground floor/dining room/bar. Our guest room was up some steep stairs where staff members insisted on carrying our heavy cases. This hotel is located in a short street off the very busy main walking street through Brussels and it felt like moving into another world after the rush outside.

Our only problem was finding our way through the busy crowds outside to this address. We relaxed and were really looked after as soon as we walked in the doors.

Hotel has like a dozen rooms, above a tavern in a small old building renewed with pretty modern design. Staff are friendly. Nice hearing bells (never loud) from neighboring church

Bed sheets are strange and small, you will end up sleeping on the bare mattress because they move at night. Stairs are quite steep and rooms are one to three floors up. Room was small.

Warm environment and employees. Very naive large room. The general aesthetic of the building and the interior design is excellent. Not another typical hotel. There is no big company exploiting the building, but simple people. This means that your money goes in the right hands. This is why you feel so warm and cozy. I would definitely suggest it, however If someone is old I don’t know if he/she will manage to go up the stairs on the fifth floor. This is the only disadvantage and only for people with that are not capable to walk well or are very old.

I liked the room a lot. The location was very convenient for my work as well. Breakfast was good too, and it was very good that they make the eggs for you on site. The restaurant area was kind of small, yet very cute. Being in Belgium, I couldn't help thinking that Hercules Poirot was going to come out from some corner of it any moment.

Well, what I would like to be different, could not be fixed I think: the fact that there is no elevator was a problem for me.

Beautiful, comfortable in perfect location. It’s a very small and intimate hotel in a historic location. Decor is great. Top comfort. There is no elevator and the stairs are very narrow - to keep in mind for those with large luggage or mobility issues.
