There are only two words to describe this hotel and they are 'simply phenomenal'. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with attentive, helpful and warm staff who went out of their way to ensure that our stay lacked nothing. We were especially touched with the personal touches like security staff who walked us to the bus station and asked the driver to advise us when to get off, as well as the staff making my sister's birthday so special. The one exception to the above was a male receptionist on duty on 24 October at 5am who was hostile and unfriendly, which was a shame because had it not been for his conduct, this hotel would have been flawless. The hotel's facilities boasted a well equipped gym, a modern pool with jacuzzi, a steam room, sauna and even a cinema. The views from the hotel were spectacular and the hotel offered comfortable seating areas from which one could enjoy the magnificent mountain views. The buffet lunch was absolutely delicious and we looked forward to this each day. We loved this hotel and would highly recommend it, especially if tourists want to escape the hustle and bustle of La Paz for an exquisite retreat.

My entire experience at Mitru Sur was outstanding - from check in to check out and everything in between. Facilities are excellent, super comfortable and spacious room, great shower. Breakfast is varied and consistently delicious. Their staff are courteous and always happy to help, especially Angel who was an absolute star throughout my stay. There had been a small issue with the swimming pool and it was solved remarkably quickly, which I was grateful for as I'd been looking forward to relaxing in the pool after my time in Uyuni.

The property had many ameneties such as pool, sauna, spa, massage, ping pong table, pool table, many games, good restaurant for breakfast and dinner, amazing staff that are very flexible for everything you need. The room was very clean and comfortable, the bes was comfy, the shower has strong pressure and hot water and plenty of space in the room for 2 and our hiking luggages.

There could be bathrobe for the massage hut jot a big deal! Other than that, everything was perfect.

I must highlight the staff which were incredibly helpful and attentive. The room was very clean and extremely comfortable, with a great shower that was much needed after a 4-day 4x4 expedition through natural parks in the south of Bolivia. The pool and gym were great extras to relax and stay active during my stay. I highly recommend this hotel for the excellent service and comfort.

It is summer in Bolivia and although La Paz usually has temperatures bellow 20C the rooms were overheated. The hotel has AC so we could manage it but would be great to reduce the heat without using the AC in the future if needed.

Breakfast was delicious, and included eggs to order, with variety from day to day. The hotel amenities are all great, including a nice pool, a billiards table, and a cool skybar. The gym is small but mighty, with machines, a yoga mat, and a versatile weight bench. The staff was incredibly kind, helpful, and responsive. I felt welcomed and at home throughout the stay.

I loved my stay at The Mitru Sur Hotel. They communicated with me well before I arrived and arranged a car to collect me from the airport, check in on arrival was smooth and efficient and the staff spoke good English and were always willing to help in any way. My room was excellent with the most comfortable bed, a sofa and a tray of delicious treats too. Everything I could want. The housekeeping was fantastic, towels changed daily and I really would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in La Paz. The nice, warm pool and steam room were an added bonus and welcome after day out in the city.

The staff at the hotel were extremely nice and did everything possible to make our stay pleasant. When two us fell sick with digestive trouble they brought us appropriate food, lots of water and medicine, helped us with several organisational issues for our onward travel, and offered us a late checkout. For those of us who were able to benefit, the rooftop bar offers great views and drinks, and the pool and sauna were perfect to relax after a day in the city. The hotel is in a safe and quiet part of the city, and even though it is a bit far off, the city centre can easily be reached by taxi or cable car. If we ever return to La Paz, this is the place we would choose to stay. Highly recommended.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

We can't say enough good things about the hotel. The staff was extremely helpful even before we arrive. We had booked two stays and had to cancel one due to flight changes. Even though the room was non-refundable, the hotel made an exception and transferred our credit to the second booking and gave us a better room. Once we arrived for our stay, it was quickly apparent that the hotel, staff and facilities are excellent. We were warmly welcomed, helped with everything and the room we got was extremely comfortable. We undoubtedly had the best sleep in Bolivia at this hotel. The beds are exceedingly comfortable. The restaurant made good food and the breakfast spread was quite varied as well. There's not a single thing we can fault the hotel for. We'd love to stay here again whenever we come back to La Paz.

The location in zona sur which may the lowest point in LA Paz. Lot of restaurants near the hotel.Easy for acclimatization .Breakfast is adequate. The receptionist Angel is very friendly and patient. We arrived in early flight and was offered early check in.
