Everything was great. The staff are so helpful and kind - they do everything they can to make your stay comfortable. Location - great, right next to a telefric station. It is also in the same building as a mall so you have access to a food court if you need one. There is a nice chinese restaurant that we went to a couple of times (same street as the hotel). Rooms - the room we got on the 12th floor had a fantatsic view of Mt Illimani and the city. Very comfortable beds and the shower was great. Restaurant - we ate in Terra one night and it was really good. I had the burger and my wife had empanadas. Our son is a very fussy eater but the restaurant staff were amazing, they gave us exactly what we needed. A sweet lady working there even gave my son a gingerbread man cookie which made him really happy :). Spa - my wife went for a relaxing massage (additional cost) and she liked it. Overall, fantastic stay and we would gladly stay here again.

For a 4-5 star hotel, it would have been nice to have a kettle in the room to make a hot drink without having to leave the room. Your policy of charging guests for damage to the white linen - I have never seen a policy like that in any other hotel that we have stayed in. You charge quite a lot as well, $100 USD for a bath towel, etc. The day we were leaving I saw another customer get extremely agitated with the reception team when he was asked to pay for a towel. Now, I don't know if he deliberately damaged the linen or not but I do believe it is possible to charge a little lesser even if it was deliberate damage. I felt sorry for the lady at reception who had to deal with the irate customer so hopefully management can reconsider this policy.

What's it to like? The staff were all super helpful & accommodating - from arranging a taxi to pick us up from the airport at 3.00am, to the loan of a teleférico card, and storage of our luggage when we went off for a 3-day tour of the Salar de Uyuni. The rooms were lovely - well-equipped and with amazing views to the south of the city - and the waiting areas all had free tea along with the obligatory coca leaves....remember, you're at over 3,600m here! Food was great. The breakfast buffet was a highlight of our day, especially trying out all the Bolivian specialities. We ate here once in the evening and again, the food was great and the cocktail bars (even though we didn't indulge) were oh-so-tempting. We loved the location - it was quieter than the central part of town, next to a cable car station and within an easy walk of the Sopachachi district. If you want to be next to places such as The Witches Market, you might want to be more more central...but we didn't.

Nothing really. The only very tiny quibbles would be: * Lift system a bit confusing at first - Stannum is located on the 5th & 12th floors; 5th floor = reception & restaurant, 12th floor = rooms. Only one of the 3 lifts goes to these floors and for the 12th floor, you have to tap a white card in the lift....otherwise you end up going back to the ground floor - it took us quite a while to work all this out! * Showers not that powerful or hot - might have been our room 2nd time around, but the fantastic walk-in shower took an age to get up to temperature and wasn't all that powerful...still fine though, just not spectacular.

Great place to stay in La Paz. I could check in earlier, which was very kind. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The room was nice with a nice view. Everything is clean and the breakfast is very full and you are able to order from the menu. The WiFi worked well. The location is perfect.. Down there is a nice mall with a food court and nearby there are two cable cars which you can use to get around La Paz. I can highly recommend this place although it is not the cheapest but in my opinion good value for the money.

Great location, close to the white line and within walking distance to many sites. Cabs outside and many options for dining. Room is comfortable. Upgraded to a Mountain View - and wow - it was spectacular. Housekeeping is extremely thorough. The hotel does a lot of little things to enhance your stay. Hot water, cookies, and fruit are available for snack. The staff provided me with a free card to ride the cable cars in a circuit around the city. Most enjoyable stay.

Everything was great. FYI, towards the end of my stay the WiFi grew spotty. I called the front desk and they connected me to a different WiFi which worked better.

If you’re looking for a modest stay at the heart of everything in La Paz, look no further. We loved everything about this place from the hospitality of the staff, the view from our room and the location which made everything easily accessible. It’d be high on my list on my next visit to La Paz. Oh, and the complimentary goodies outside our room made it even more special. Also it was easy to communicate with the hotel including organizing a pick up from the airport at 4 am in the morning.

This is a great modern hotel within the Multicine building in downtown La Paz. Despite being above cinemas and shopping areas it is an incredibly quiet hotel. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. They stored luggage for us while we did a trip to Madidi National park. The room was very bright large and modern with floor to ceiling windows. There were stunning views across the city. The bed was comfortable and the room had everything you might need. Lots of storage space, safe, fridge and comfortable chairs. The bathroom was fine with a good shower and plenty of hot water. The buffet breakfast was very good with a wide range of different types of food. They also did eggs to make order. Restaurant staff were very welcoming and attentive.

Central area of La Paz making it easy to travel north or south with a 'Mi Teleferico' station close by. Staff are excellent with accommodating the Later arrival/departure flights that are common for international flights to La Paz. Top suggestions on tour companies and things to do in the local area. Staff are quick on hand for any Altitude related illness and have been excellent overall. Rooms are a good size and have both A/C heating for the variable Andean Weather. Black out blinds are brilliant for recovering the flight in. Nice personal touches at start/end of visits.

depending on time of visit on how busy the hotel is effects the quality of the breakfast spread. Preferential to order from menu than have the buffet. Found that tours did not like to pick up from the outside of hotel and ask for a pickup near the roundabout up the hill. If you're not particularly fit its not the most ideal location for walking to restaurants nearby as majority of them are up hill. Access to gym is included though its with the adjoined mall requiring taking lift to ground floor and across into it. Use of lifts in the morning can be congested at times as hotel is on floors 5 and 12.

Loved it. Perfect location next to a Teleférico station that takes you right to city centre. Staff were awesome, and thanks Carla for getting us the perfect room. She took extra time to do so. Breakfast was one of the best we’ve had at a hotel. We could have spent a week here.

My o my issue is they need better technology for the key cards. They are way too sensitive to deactivate, and far too often we couldn’t get into our rooms.

great view, excellent service and amazing restaurant, the breakfast service was fantastic and the airport pick up and drop off service was very convenient. they also provided plenty of hot water for tea due to possible altitude sickness

everything was great, there was nothing not to like. if anything the only thing that might be wrong is the traffic around since it is in a prime location

Great central location to La Paz, just outside the historic centre and not to far from a telefirco (Gondala network) station. The Tera restaurant has some great food and has always been easy to check in/out for the late/early flights that leave in and out of La Paz Knowledge staff of the La Paz area and overall high quality stay for the city.

The Lifts can be a pain as the hotel is split between the 12th and 5th floor of the Mall complex. Which sometimes can be quite busy making it difficult going to ground level or to breakfast at level 5.
