Room maintenance walked in on me and my new girlfriend. We thought it was very funny. I don't think she saw anything, but I would like to apologise for not locking the door. I didn't think we would need to! Other than that, it was all very smooth and the view of the thunder storm was incredible.

There is an emergency pull-cord in the bathroom to summon assistance. It is only useful if you have your heart attack standing up by the sink. I thought that was very funny too, and since I neither of us had a coronary I still think it's funny.

The staff was really nice and helpful. The room was big and nice. We had to leave really early to take the train, and the kitchen staff prepared a lunch for us to take with us because we left before breakfast started. We specifically picked this place because it was near the train station. It's in a great location for that, but a lot further from the city centre, so location depends on what you want.

The hotel is a little run down. Our hairdryer broke after about 1 minute of using. But overall it was all really good for the price.

Hotels Grand is in a good location with restaurants market cafes and the host is very helpful ATMs I would recommend Hotel Grand in your journey package

The taxie rides are ripe off I paid 15 € for less than 10 minute ride to Hotel Grand because I had luggage they show a little card I'm thinking it's not legal but there is nothing tourist can do I don't recommend the taxie services

I arrived by bus at 5.30 in the morning and was able to store my luggage at the reception. The next day they also helped me get a cab to the city and overall they were really friendly. The room itself was exactly like the pictures/what I expected.

The breakfast was not that great, but okay. I could here the people in the hallway if they were talking/walking by kind of loudly.

Real value for money payed. The location is quiet, but not far away from the city centre. My room was extremely clean and comfortable, with basic toiletries included. Breakfast was with a variety of choices and rather nutritious. The dining room was spacious and pleasing to the eye.

It would be perfect to have a fridge in the room.

One of the best places i was! The employee who did my check-in was very nice and helpful, with tips on what to do and to see in the city center; my room was great and it had everything a need and the breakfast was exceptional! Definitely one of the best choices

I didn't give 10 points because of this simple but important detail: location. If you want to walk to the city center, you need to take at least 40-50min so it's not close, although you can take the tram but still, you need to walk 10min to the tram station.

Reception was so helpful with Almina and her colleagues...all spoke excellent English. Although the hotel is a little past its sell-by date, there were many plusses... for me, anyway: warm bathroom, hot water, clean bedlinen and a good breakfast. Yes, there were maybe some 'accessories' missing, but remember the price...and I thought it was an excellent deal! Proximity to the Bus station was also a factor in choosing this hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

Although I am in my later years, I could manage the walk up and down to the hotel easily. However, perhaps some might find it too far, though the trams are located just in front of the Railway Station for a trip downtown (1.80 Mark)

Staying at the hotel is very satisfactory. Its quite and located in a quite part of Sarajevo, however it is a bit not close to the old town, however Sarajevo is not a very large city. I stayed in a single room, two times, as I went outside Sarajevo and then returned to Hotel Grand, again ! I was glad to stay in the hotel. The staff are very friendly as the common noticed in the Bosnians.

The renovated rooms are much better compared to the old ones, i stayed and experienced both. The coffee quality

The breakfast was the highlight for me, with a great variety of hot and cold options; a big stand-out was the vegetable frittata, which is a rare option to have for hotel breakfasts. Staff were friendly; our room was clean & adequate for us.

The location was a bit far from the main tourist areas.

Extremely close to the rail station! ~10 minute walk with my long legs. I arrived and left via rail, so that was perfect. 24hr reception with a kind attendant. I arrived near midnight and left just before 7, so I just showered and slept there. I had a single room on the first floor. It was clean, organized, and non-smoking. The price was also excellent, given the size/quality of the hotel and its location. The curtains were excellent at blocking out the light. The wifi was reliable. The washroom was perfectly clean and well-provisioned; hot water was ready.

In my online booking messaging, they said breakfast started at 7am. The sign in the lobby said breakfast starts at 6:30am. I left ~6:45am to catch the 7:15am train. Given that they're beside the rail station and that this is a common departure time, consider earlier breakfast start time. Also, update the lobby sign if 6:30am is no longer valid. Also, offer guests who cannot wait for breakfast to maybe get a bottled drink or piece of fruit. No power outlets beside the bed. Some were under the desk in front of the bed, but beside the bed would be very helpful for people charging their phones.
