Cozy, confortable and quiet. The room was perfect and met all my requirements as far as privacy goes. The shower was great. Hot water to put me in the mood to have a good time. It made me feel at home already at my arrival once I entered the room. The installations were all functional and modern. On the rooftop, the pool was amazing. I enjoy my staying by laying back in an inclining chair by the pool in the sun, took a dive and the water temperature was luke warm making me stay more than I planned. There'll be a second time around visit for certain. I recommend. Thumbs Up!😎👍

Well, the staff was extremely friendly and met all our expectations, further increasing our satisfaction as customers, the receptionist Bruno was extremely exceptional to make our stay even better and enjoyable, the breakfast was very diverse and the staff were very friendly . the bathroom was not sanitized and clean as it should have been for us to receive it, we got in touch to request alcohol to clean the bathroom but we were told they didn't have it, we bought alcohol outside and the problem was solved.

I recently stayed at this hotel again, and I have to say, it was a pleasant experience. The staff was exceptionally helpful and seemed genuinely happy to be working there, which made the atmosphere very welcoming. The room was clean, with a comfortable bed and fresh towels. The breakfast was simple but had all the basics for a good meal to start the day. For the price I paid, the value was outstanding. It’s a great option for anyone looking for a cost-effective place to stay in the center of town.

Breakfast very good, location centre, a middle age personal, who is quite good in English, helped us with arranging local group sight seeing, exchange US dollar to local money with good rate, he was very kind, draw a smal map, wrote down discriptions, describe detail about sight seeing, even gav us a universal adropt for charge mobile battery...

Only pity three hotels we stayed at Rio de Janeiro, do not have city map or printed local hotel surrunding maps

should have 1 bilingual front desk agent on staff for tourists since using this platform. however all were friendly.

The area is definitely run down but convenient for centro business, sdu airport (10 to 15real taxi ride), or for visiting cinelandia. It is an old building, built circa 1940s, with an impressive atrium from 2nd to 17th floor. Unfortunately this wasted space causes the rooms to be small. Not much room to move around two single beds. Chic when built, marble and granite everywhere, but it has aged. It has been maintained but not with fittings of the same original quality, which give the rooms a rather cheap look. Everything worked, shower was hot with a decent pressure, and the room was well cleaned. Air conditioning effective but definitely not a modern silent running type. Decent breakfast included Staff helpful and friendly. Definitely good for a short stay. But rooms are too small for a long stay.

The breakfast was adeqaute. It consisted of a variety of items to choose from like breads, coldcuts, cheese and fruits. The coffee was okay but the juice mix was watery and had way too much sugar. But the breakfast was sufficient to keep us going till after lunch time. The bedrooms were good although the one smelled of cigarette smoke. This was okay since they had informed us and we accepted the room on the premise that it was close to the other. The hotel's location was excellent - right in the heart of downtown and literally around the corner from a metro, a VLT (tram) stop and the Santa Teresa 'Bonde' terminal. Also it is a five min walk from the Selaron steps and the Lapa area and a 5 min drive (by taxi) to the famous Cafeteria Colombo (A+).

Look, the area does however seem a bit sketchy but we weren't harrased by the homeless people although they can become a bit nagging. The streets are somewhat dirty but it gives downtown Rio and Lapa with its old buildings a flair of decadence. The tourist attractios were somewhat pricey although worth the visit. We didn't go to Crhist the Redeemer statue this time because the last time it felt like we were victims of a scam having to pay about R$140.

The wifi didn’t work at all and my own internet as well. Ihad to leave my room to use the phone If I want to upload a picture or watch a little video. The connection is really really bad.

close to the American consulate where I was going . close to attractions like Arcos da Lapa, confeitaria Colombo and metrô - Nice breakfast and everything clean

the pool was closed for mantainance on Monday - the only day I had to enjoy . and kind of dangerous neighborhood at night

Metro and Tram very close, bus stops as well. Easy check-in and friendly personal. Good breakfast.

If staying several days, then breakfast became repetitive since it's the same every day. Luggage storage cost 20 Reals, information which wasn't show during booking, maybe just a mistake from Booking.com side.
