I am glad that I stayed at this hotel during the carnival of 2025. It's a difficult time, all the hotels in Rio are full and prices are skyrocketing. The hotel staff is amazing! Respectful and responsive attitude towards the guests. 24-hour security guards. The room is clean and comfortable, and the breakfast is good. Convenient transport accessibility, taxi, metro, buses and tram to all parts of the city.

The rooftop pool was a little shallow. But what a magnificent view! Thank you for a wonderful time at your hotel!

The staff are truly amazing. I don't speak any Portuguese and they helped me navigate the Metro, Tram , and bus network. I needed to book a reservation for my birthday dinner and they handled the call for me with a smile. The manager even helped me by researching the available restaurants! I truly truly cannot say how much they made my stay memorable. I'll definitely be coming back and telling my friends and family about them!

The property was very clean, close to metro, and close to attractions. The staff was so lovely! Especially Mattheus! He is able to speak English, Spanish, and Portuguese so he was very very helpful with all questions we had of the hotel and of what was around in Rio. Almost all staff spoke 2 languages which is great if you don’t speak a lot of Portuguese! Great breakfast buffets, very sweet ladies in charge of cleaning service, and very comfortable patio with an amazing view! Price was good for a week stay! Would definitely come back :)

One thing is that check in was later than anticipated by 2 hours due to high volume of people, but I understand there is limitations on what the receptionists could do.

I really liked this hotel even though it's obviously in a slightly dicey location in Lapa. I could see Christ the Redeemer from my bed. The room has everything I needed for one night. If I was staying for longer, I'd want something with a little more character.

For one night it was perfect. Even the breakfast was nice with clear labelling and nice layout.

Great staff, everyone is very friendly and communicative. Rooms are clean and comfortable. A lot of options for breakfast and good room service.

Location isn't good. Although the hotel is in the center, close to several touristic points, the neighborhood isn't safe to walk, specially at night.

Prices hide a 10% service change, which is listed in the bill as a tax. When I asked is it a service charge or a tax, the answer was its a service charge. No explanation for what. Dear Bookings please include anything like that in the Total Price. As a customer I pay the total price, not total price plus X%. There is a reason thus practice is illegal in Europe

For the purpose of the trip the location was fantastic, very good breakfast and very nice and employees

Located conveniently close to the cruise port and some sights downtown. Clean room, good breakfast and safe environment.

Once you leave the hotel, you get a feeling that you are on your own, there is no police around and it feels like you are not safe in the streets, specially on the weekends, where everything is closed and deserted. Not many options for dining, only the restaurant downstairs.

The Breakfast is excellent, the rooftop view is one of my favorites in Rio, and was my main reason for returning, and the rooms are very comfortable, with good wifi, plugs a good desk to work at, and an excellent location, to the airport, and to my church in Fatima, and especially to the Metro.

There was really only two things that were a nuisance, which can be remedied easily. When I took my first shower, the soap was out, so I had to bathe in shampoo. Since I was already wet in the shower it was not something I could call donw for. A small back up bar soap would remedy this and would also be useful at the sink. The other thing is a something on the shower floor to prevent slipping, I almost slipped, and at 71, that would be very uncomfortable for both me, and probably the hotel. One more thing that on hotel in Brazil has, but would win the hearts of many Americans, is a proper face cloth. I keep forgetting to bring mine along. How Brazilians live without face clothes in the bathroom is something I will never understand.

Beautiful rooftop pool area with spectacular view. The hotel is very clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The location is close to Lapa and Santa Teresa. We’ve stayed here many times and will continue to do so.
