This was my favorite hotel on my 30-day vacation in Greece and Bulgaria. The room was wonderful...large, very clean with several windows overlooking the ruins below. A huge shower. Every detail in the room was well thought out and provided for. Breakfast was buffet-style with seating in a lovely restaurant setting, again with a view of the ruins. Good selection of cold foods, hot eggs cooked to order, good coffee (very important to us). The owner must be an art-lover as there were many interesting paintings through-out the hotel. I just loved this place!

Hotel Odeon provided excellent value! The cost was more than reasonable; our room was clean, comfortable, quiet, spacious, and attractive; breakfast was plentiful; the wifi worked well. The location of the hotel provides good access by foot to points of interest in Plovdiv, and as a bonus, the hotel overlooks ancient ruins.

Check-in was terrible! Despite notifying Hotel Odeon of our approximate arrival time, it took 2 phone calls and a 30 minute wait for someone to show up at the reception to check us in. Despite this, there were enough positives about our stay that this didn't affect our overall satisfaction with our stay.

Staff were wonderful. So helpful. Offered us use of umbrellas when rain started unexpectedly one evening. Also sorted a kettle and cups for the room so that we could make a drink during the day. Breakfast was plentiful. Fresh cooked eggs on request. Lovely dining room overlooking Roman remains. Location is perfect. At the edge of the pedestrian area for the main town and a stones throw away from the old town. When we were leaving the staff phoned for a taxi which arrived in a few minutes and was half the price we paid for our incoming taxi ride which we got ourselves at the airport (we were clearly ripped off!!)

The location, customer service, and hotel itself were absolutely outstanding, receiving a perfect 10/10 rating from me. I truly regret not having more time during my travels to extend my stay here. The view of the Odeon was simply breathtaking, and the warmth and kindness displayed by the staff touched my heart. Even with my early departure before breakfast hours, the staff went above and beyond by preparing a special takeaway sandwich just for me. My room was incredibly charming, surpassing all my expectations and more. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an exceptional experience during their travels.

Loved the vintage look of the room and the size. Staff and breakfast were great. We had to catch an early the day of departure and the owner offered to prepare an hour early. Glad to have breakfast for an early morning bus ride.

Only complaint is smell from drain in bathroom but I think this is a city issue and probably happens all over Plovdiv. I would stay here again without hesitation.

Fabulous in every way from the welcoming manager with a genuine smile to the clean crisp bedding and the large bright shower, it's a little gem. Best of all is the location, 2 minutes walk to the main street (there is an actual archaeological site under the balcony!) and 20 minutes walk to the Old Town.we will definitely use them again when we visit Plovdiv.

My expectations were exceeded, actually. Staff was charming and welcoming, helped me to check-in faster and to get a taxi. Room was extremely clean and top-furnitured. Location is perfect for being in the center of Plovdiv.

Slightly late check-in - 3 p.m. Price was higher than usual (coz of high demand on hotels in Plovdiv on this day).

Excellent location, nice and unique view to the Odeon. High quality furniture, very comfortable big bed and very stylish interior design of the apartment, and the whole hotel. The breakfast was delicious with plenty to choose and yummy, freshly made fruit jams, served by a very professional and friendly lady. She was awesome, was easy communication. We totally enjoyed our stay and the way she looked after us.

We stayed for only one night so we spent only a little time in the room, but it was enough to see that it had been recently renovated with high-quality materials and that no detail was left unattended. The staff were friendly and the location was great, next to Artnewscafe which is one of my favourites. Not to mention the hotel's own restaurant which I've visited on multiple occasions for lunches and dinners and have always been exceptionally served. The authentic Plovdiv spirit lives in this place.

The room we got was on the last floor and much of the ceiling was slanted, so the room felt a bit tight and claustrophobic even if it had a large ground area. There also wasn't much of a view, since the windows were small and close to the ground.

This is a fantastic hotel in the heart of Plovdiv. A beautiful building, next to some of the Roman remains, and within walking distance to the pedestrian streets of the Old Town. Staff were friendly and attentive. My room was spectacular. Large, classy decor, very clean, air conditioning, balcony, super comfortable bed, powerful shower over bath... It was very good value for money as well, with breakfast included. Fabulous place.
