Very lavish and comfortable 5 star hotel. Very good breakfast

The outdoor light shining through the window at night was terrible, the staff could not turn it off, and the shutters were not good enough to block out the light. If i am paying $150 per night, i expect to be able to sleep in darkness!

Incredible place in the very heart of Plovdiv. The hotel is even more amazing than it looks at the photos. High-end finish in all details. Classic vibe in a perfect blend with contemporary elements. We rented an apartment for two adults and a child. We had dinner at hotel’s restaurant Valere (reservation needed - at least for Saturday evening) where we were completely delighted with the meals and the service. Pricey, but you see what you pay for. Breakfast is a-la-carte with options like Eggs Benedict, omelette with truffle and variety of Italian cheese and salami. They were able to prepare out-of-menu meals for dinner and breakfast for our 4 y.o. picky eater. Available and free parking is a great benefit. Definitely recommend and will come again for sure!

We liked everything - the hotel looks impeccable, very stylish and tastefully made. Our room was very quiet and comfy for sleep, felt very private, cozy and had a nice hill view. The staff was attentive and friendly. We haven't tried their restaurant for dinner, but the breakfast was delicious. Welcome desserts in our room were a nice surprise on the arrival, and a coffee machine with a variety of nespresso capsules was quite handy. I personally appreciate the choice of nice toiletries. And the location is perfect, looked safe and quiet.

The in-house gym was great as was the fact that you could work out and watch football at the same time. The restaurant was great and their agnolotti sepia was one of the most unique dishes I've ever had. The hotel itself was half way up a tepe (hill) which means if you have mobility problems this isn't the hotel hotel for you.

Breakfast was a set menu not a buffet with a variety of options like other hotels.

Finally Plovdiv has a real high category hotel! as a world traveler I have to admit that VIZUALIZA hotel is world class hotel that Plovdiv deserves, while the price is even low for what you get. Room - everything is just like it must be, staff - just perfect. breakfast is a la card and you have a real Italian espresso. Location - couldn’t be better and it a surprise that at this part of the city the hotel provides a parking slots for free. Also don’t miss the Valere restaurant for lunch and dinner.

We had an amazing experience staying here! The hotel is beautifully renovated, with brand new, modern furnishings and it's extremely clean. The room was large, comfortable, quiet and had a wonderful city view. The staff were really kind and friendly and made us feel very welcome- they even gave us a goody bag for the road as we left, with complimentary water, fruit and nuts. It was a lovely gesture and we really appreciated it. The location is perfect-within a 2-minute walking distance from the old city center. We were definitely grateful for the free parking right in front of the hotel, as we could enjoy city walks to museums and restaurants without worrying about the car. The breakfast was fantastic - the Bulgarian truffle omelet was straight out of Julia Child's cookbook, and the rose-shaped butter, cheese selection and bread/pastries were divine. Great coffee and fresh orange juice, too. We don't have more pictures, unfortunately, as we took a video of the room, but Booking.com won't let us post it here. We definitely recommend the hotel and we'll come back, as well. Thank you!

The hotel is exceptional and its Valere Restaurant is the best in town.

I mean this as a suggestion for improvement not as in 'what I didn't like'. The pillows are too hard, a soft option would be appreciated, as well as an extra blanket. We stayed in the suite and as the duvet is double, it would have been nice to have a blanket for the sofa. Some soft tissue, writing paper and a pen would also enhance what is already an exceptional room.

Second stay in as many weeks, and my first review still applies so I'm repeating it :) Everything was perfect - the rooms, the facilities, the high-concept and inventive restaurant menu, and especially the staff. The hotel is a beautifully renovated historic building, introducing a new crisp aesthetic while celebrating the heritage character of the original design. Great views towards the old town and steps away from the action.
