This hotel is a little gem of a place, a quiet jungle oasis in the middle of the city. It is so peaceful and just a short walk to all the major tourist attractions. The rooms are lovely and well maintained and the sister hotel a short walk away has a rooftop pool and bar. The breakfast is served by a small pool and freshly made to order. Staff were brilliant, helpful and attentive. Getting us tuktuks and organising tours for us. Cannot recommend enough.

The mosquitos were quite prevalent during our stay! The hotel did use citronella and had nets on the beds, little more they could do.

We we super happy to spend a few nights at this hotel, to relax and rest after our long flights. Very calm district. Centrally located. Caring and friendly staff. Very good breakfast. Mattress topper available on request. Comfortable room. Bodia products available for use. Great fitness room and rooftop pool available at sister hotel (Penh House), about 1 min walk from Jungle Addition.

Repetitive breakfast. Little Khmer offer. More fruits and fresh vegetables would be welcome to have a great day start. Room lighting could be a bit stronger. A/C on the noisy side. You may hear people chatting out of your room if they lack discretion.

We loved this hotel and had a wonderful stay here. Staff were so friendly and helpful and attentive to needs. We had two rooms for our family (2 teenagers and 2 parents). Rooms were spacious and clean and nicely decorated. Location was excellent, within walking distance of where we wanted to go. Coming back to the hotel was like coming back to a peaceful oasis in the city. Pool was cool and refreshing on a hot day. Breakfast was fantastic. Great offerings and freshly made to order (not buffet). Lovely dining tables around the pool area. We left early on our last day and were given take away Breakfast packages which included all the items available at breakfast in a box. Such a kind gesture. We also used the pool of Penh house hotel nearby (affiliated hotel) and views were awesome at sunset. Would definitely recommend to anyone coming to Phnom Penh.

- Very clean and spatious rooms with comfortable bed and great shower. Mosquito net above the bed which will protect you at night. - As the name suggests, the hotel gives you a Jungle vibe with many trees around the pool in the inner yard. The hotel is located in a relatively small street, making it very calm and quite, so you don’t really notice you’re in a big hectic city once inside. - As a guest of Jungle Addition, you can make use of the rooftop pool at the neighboring Penh House hotel (which has the same owner). This allows you to experience both the rooftop, while having a more authentic/boutique style room at Jungle Addition. - The hotel is nicely located in the center of Phnom Penh. Very close to many tourist attractions such as the Royal Palace.

- The breakfast is a la carte and very tasty, but the number of options to choose from is rather limited.

We enjoyed our stay at the Jungle Addition, in particular we loved its sister hotel Penh House rooftop facilities - infinity pool and restaurant area with amazing views where we spent our last night and last day in Cambodia - a great way to finish our holiday :) I liked the interior design of our room at the Jungle Addition and the hotel staff were very competent and helpful. The hotel breakfast served around the pool area was also nice however, the nearby Penh House common area rooftop set up was definitely worth the short walk and much more special than at the Jungle Addition and the arrangement in place worked really well for us.

The outdoor area and the pool were nice but not that amazing... Our room (on the ground floor) seemed a bit dark inside but it was very comfortable.

Jungle Addition exceeded expectations! It was exactly (or maybe even better) than the published photos (usually it’s the other way around, as properties often publish very outdated or retouched photos). The facilities were amazing. The jungle-like vegetation and decoration makes this hotel a true oasis in the middle of the city. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable and had a very good bathroom as well (which was not displayed in Booking.com pictures so we were pleasantly surprised to find a completely separated shower - not so common in Southeast Asia). The staff was very friendly and helpful and welcomed us with a refreshing beverage and cold towels during check-in. Pool-side restaurant/bar service was also excellent with great options for lunch/dinner but also great breakfast - although it is not buffet, you can choose from a decent size list of options (some more western some more Asian) and request as many items and as many times you want. As a nice plus, guests can access the facilities of another nearby hotel: pool (which we did not use so we cannot rate) and fitness center (which was very well equipped with some machines, a great rack with bumpers up to 25kg and also all the fractionals, dumbbells up to 14kgs, AC, complementary water, etc). We could not really ask for more. Highly recommended!

Jungle addition is located in a lovely leafy street near the Grand palace and other main attractions. These are only a short tuk tuk ride away with some wonderful food and drink options within walking distance. We found the staff to be excellent, breakfast was overall very good. Nice little pool for a cool down after a day of exploring Phnom Penh. Our room was well appointed and spacious with both aircon and ceiling fans. Bathroom was a generous size and very modern. Overall 10/10 would recommend and will definetly come back when visiting Phnom Penh.

I liked everything

I stayed at this hotel for a total of 5 nights during the New Year period from 2024 to 2025. The room type was "Jungle Standard." Located in the stylish area of central Phnom Penh, this hotel is a hidden oasis surrounded by lush tropical greenery. The facilities, hospitality, and cleanliness were impeccable, and my stay was very comfortable. However, the water pressure in the shower was slightly weak, which was a minor disappointment.

Here are two suggestions for improvement: Please consider providing complimentary drinking water in plastic bottles. While the current use of recyclable glass bottles reflects environmental awareness, I find it difficult to trust the safety of the water in these bottles. Offering plastic bottles would be more reassuring. Please introduce a service for exchanging small denominations of currency. Travelers often struggle to secure small bills, especially $1 bills, which are essential for transactions in this area. Despite reaching out to the hotel for assistance, I was directed to a bank, only to find that smaller denominations were unavailable there. Providing this service would greatly enhance the convenience for guests.

The hotel is a small enterprise situated in, possibly, the most significant area of Phnom Penh (think of Royal Palace). The hotel itself is an old manor house, French style, humble for a hotel but a historical jewel nonetheless. Lush vegetation and winding paths lead to spiral staircases and lower floor rooms that open with French windows to the porch. It lodges only a handful of guests that come and go very much daily. Meals come from the mother-ship hotel, whose owner (an organic farmer) took over the property not long ago: great job. Staff was polite and nice, and ready to help with just about everything. The street outside (1 minute walk, if) has a great snack bar with a generous happy hour for foreigners (especially if you are an Aussie or a Kiwi sports/beer fan, you-will-love-it-full-stop). My best wishes to this Jungle Addition, it was lovely.

There is nothing I didn't like, really. Some neighbors were grumpy because we wake up early, and they go late to bed; and I mean some odd mature older single men. They don't fit there really, and I think they know. You have Preah Sisowath Quay Square, and that is something that you may or may not like. Overall, I think the worse thing was a huge telecommunications tower, those ones in the new style with ugly panels now everywhere. It just doesn't fit there, and they could have done a better job in such a classy and peaceful surrounding. One ring to rule them all.

The hotel's own breakfast was superb, with a wide variety of tasty options to start the day right. The location of the hotel was superb, with easy access to local attractions and amenities. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any requests we had. Overall, our experience at Jungle Addition Hotel was outstanding, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay.
