Absolutely breathtaking atmosphere of the hotel, settled in a lavish tropical green. We loved the traditional architecture of the wooden houses and the decor - that´s why I chose this hotel. Excellent location in the city center. 15mins walk to Pub Street. Very pleasant pool and lovely massage (although you can get those anywhere in town - prices in the hotel are actually reasonable. I recommend Khmer massage). Breakfast was ok-ish, but the surroundings made it unique. Beds were comfy, no TV. They bring each night some sweet treats and a traditional bedtime story - a pleasant touch.

The hotel is defininetly on the higher end in terms of prices compared to others in Siem Reap. That said, if we pay $150 per night (they charge $20 extra for the rooms on first floor) we expect a welcoming attitude from the staff. It felt the opposite, which was very disappointing. The only time the staff approached us to ask how was our stay was when they asked us to write a positive review about them. Ouch. The breakfast slection is also very limited, although sufficient. I would still recommend a stay in this hotel for its amazing atmosphere and architecture.

Love the architecture and style of this place, very unique in Siem Reap and highlighting Cambodian culture and tradition. The staff is nice and helpful. The atmosphere is so green and relaxing while the location is perfect, being right in the town center. Room is spacious and clean with a strong attention to many details. Breakfast is amazing and super complete. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Angkor Village! Note: The restaurant of the hotel, Aaraama, has an original and interesting menu telling the story of Cambodian cuisine. A must try!

This our second story in this hotel and we filme pleased to comeback again. Everything was almost perfect. This all wooden hotel is very charming. Not located in the center of the town and consequently very calm but at a walking distance of the old market. The staff is very professional and pleasant. They really take care of their customers. Every single issue was fixed at a glance. The breakfast is good and the restaurant for dinner is to me excellent. We never never want to eat outside. The manager is extremely reactive, very professional.

Last year there was a buffet breakfast and it was more convenient.

The resort is absolutely beautiful. All staff were lovely & very welcoming. Special mention of Seavlmh who checked us in & was very kind to us during our stay. Pov Tola who did a fabulous job in the bar area. Also would like to praise our tour guide Sophal who did a great job delivering so much information during our 2 days touring the temples. Kimsour (van driver) was an extremely safe driver & was always ready to greet us with cold water & towels. Thanks very much to all staff who made our stay very comfortable. & always greeted us with smiles & great service.

We had a fantastic stay at Angkor Village Hotel, it’s an absolutely stunning hotel with beautifully maintained plants surrounding the grounds. The staff were all very helpful and attentive with organising tours and activities for us, they even decorated our room as we were on our honeymoon. We very much enjoyed the breakfast each morning and were grateful the staff offered to pack breakfast for us when we were rushing out to explore the temples. Thank you for a wonderful time, we would absolutely return if we are in Siem Reap again!

The staff took us under its wing and organized our entire trip in the Angkor Wat area. This turned out to be an extraordinary accomplishment because a flight day had forced us to cancel our first day in Cambodia. That meant that staff member Mithuna Klok had to rescheduled our airport pickup, dinner reservations, show reservations, massages and tours. She handled it beautifully, and we had a wonderful time in this hotel, which looks like a tropical paradise. We did not want to leave this hotel.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. It made our stay very welcoming. The location is excellent with good food choices within walking distances.

My 7 year old son only has a complaint on the pool. The water was cold (because of the layout, the pool doesn't get much sun), with leaves and petals falling into the pool and the sudden dip in the middle didn't feel safe to him. To be fair, guests do not choose this hotel to hang out by the pool and it is not catered as a young family hotel. I don't think it is a big issue.

Trip of a lifetime! And this hotel made it incredible. Over the top beautiful, serene, peaceful. The staff was amazing from start to finish. Special recognition is deserved for Rady in the dining room and Em Un the best guide and photographer EVER. They noticed it was my birthday and sent a cake to the Thai dancing dinner theater. So thoughtful and special since I was solo traveling. AMAZING. I would give it my very highest recommendation.

I loved everything

We booked 4 nights in a Lake View Double Room. Everything was exceptional, location, view, decorations, jungle village feel, interior, staff, small details and attention given to us. We tried the food many times, pool, room service, massage, basically everything that was on the offer and everything had the same exceptional level of service. Vathna and his team are doing an amazing job, supper friendly and professional.. They helped us organise Apsara tickets and tours with driver and guide included, all the tours were amazing and we actually learned so much about local culture and history during the tour. They knew ahead that this is part of our honeymoon trip, and they went to great lengths to help us enjoy every single moment and made our stay in Siem Riep unforgettable.. Thank you Vathna and everyone else in Angor Village Hotel..

It’s a beautiful property, like an oasis of calm. The room was large and comfortable. The staff were extremely professional and polite. Little touches like cold towels being offered when we returned from a hot day out made us feel valued. The late afternoon delivery each day of a flower, cake and a printed Cambodian bedtime story felt quite unique.

It’s hard to think of anything to dislike. The only thing was that it was difficult to get a consistent temperature in the shower.
