This is a review of the Golden Temple Boutique where we were switched - on agreement after their request. This is one beautiful hotel, except it's not one, it's two with the 'Residence' over the road where breakfast is served. Everything about this place screams style, from the pools, to the room and the staff are just wonderful. Hard to imagine a better location - better than the Golden Temple (original) I believe - for access to the market, Pub Street and many other places. I just can't begin to say how lovely the staff are, really pleased to see you and chat each time, always helpful. Occasionally we'd have a knock on the door early evening and a member of staff would present us with some free snacks, a little poem or story and the weather for the following day. Hard to mention anything but I don't like empty answer boxes....so.... dinner is quite pricey for Cambodia, but then again it is very good.

This hotel is a surprising hidden gem. The decor in the lobby and pool are beautiful. There are so many little hospitality extras, like welcoming towel, drink and snack. The location is perfect, being close to pub street but far enough away to have a different vibe. The buffet was one of the best we had on our trip. We have been in Thailand and Siem Reap for about 2 weeks and this hotel was the best value. In particular, the staff were superb. Nary was a treat. She was funny, helpful and would come and talk to my wife during the day. The service at the hotel was excellent, and very professional. We had an evisa issue trying to enter Vietnam and had to stay an extra day to try and get a visa on arrival. It was not for sure that we were going to get approval and had to wait until 6pm to find out. The hotel allowed us to stay until 6pm for a discounted day rate and held the room in case we need to stay the night again. We got the approval and Theara, Bun sot, and Vicheka helped print our boarding cards, visa documents, and secure transportation to the airport. It was pretty stressful time but but we felt the whole hotel team was on our side. I would stay her again, and recommend it to anyone.

We had an absolutely wonderful 5 night stay at Golden Temple Hotel. Great location, close enough to walk to the market and pub street. The staff were super friendly and attentive, always smiling with nothing being too much trouble. Special mention to Alice who looked after us and ensured everything was perfect, including a pool view room and extra soft pillows. The pool area is an oasis after the heat of the day and temple touring and the 2 for 1 cocktails during happy hour are a treat. I received $15 off a spa service as part of our deal, the spa rooms and service was lovely and the massage was amazing. Breakfasts had good variety and even espresso coffees included. We also received a free lunch in the restaurant which was very good quality and presented beautifully. This hotel has everything, highly recommended.

Everything was great

My husband and I recently stayed at the Golden Temple Hotel for 4 nights visiting from the United States. Our entire stay was excellent! The rooms were clean and comfortable and the entire staff made us feel very welcome! Before we even arrived they reached out to help us arrange a car and activities. When we arrived they greeted us with tea and snacks and even left local fruit for us in our room! The breakfast was good and they included a free lunch with the stay which was a multi-course meal of local food to try. Our stay also included a $15 credit to the spa. They also helped us arrange a dinner to watch Aspara dancing at a sister hotel which was excellent! The hotel was walking distance from the main square and had lots of food options. Overall, would highly recommend and will stay again if I return! :)

The hotel is a real gem, perfectly situated near Pub Street, the river and everything you need to get to in Siem Reap. Lovely food, rooms and and pool, which is a beautiful oasis when you need a break from the heat and bustle of the streets. The staff are amazing and really can’t do enough for you. Especially wonderful were Alice and Pichii. The hotel arranged an amazing tuk tuk temple trip with a very friendly and knowledgeable guide Mr La Rorn- he took us to many amazing temples including of course Angkor Wat, and knows all the nooks and crannies where you can take the best photos. Our tuk tuk driver Len kept us refreshed and cool at regular intervals with cold water and flannels. If you are thinking of doing the trip without a guide, ( as we may well have done) think again- The minimal outlay for Mr Rorn ($40) is a bargain several times over.

Very fitting with the temple theme. Was small and intimate with an amazing restaurant

The facilities were exactly as expected. Staff very attentive, room was a good size although maybe a touch dated. Only ate breakfast at hotel but that was good and the drinks selection was great. Used the pool but none of the other facilities on offer.

A better Aircon system. I get that the hotel wants to be as "green" as possible but having the tag that operated the aircon attached to the key meant every time I went out the aircon had to be turned off and then powered up on my return to get the temp back to a reasonable level.

Everything. Small Boutique hotel with great amenities & facilities. Service was exceptional and welcoming. Great spa & massage. We booked 2 rooms which were upgraded to balcony rooms with pool view. Our room was beautifully decorated with balloons and flowers for our anniversary. Thanks to the attentive staff and managers. We were very happy with our stay and look forward to stay again on our next vacation in Siam Reap.

Really nothing.

The staff were so helpful and friendly. They assisted with things like tour recommendations and tuk tuk bookings. The room was spacious and if you enjoy getting up early to watch the sunrise I recommend the upper level rooms with a pool view- you can sit on the balcony and enjoy a beautiful vista of trees and the sky. Gorgeous. The food was tasty and room service was timely. The pool is large and the water is at a good temperature. The location is excellent. There's a supermarket less than a minute's walk away. The river, night market and Pub Street are an easy 8-10 minute walk. At night it's busy and well-lit and easy to walk around. All-in-all it is excellent value for money.

The staff here are absolutely wonderful, their hospitality heartwarming. The hotel has a wonderful feel of a bygone era. The luxurious outdoor pool setting and dining area, surrounded by lush greenery, transforms you away from frenetic activity of the world outside. The rooms have a rustic homely feel, and in the heat of summer, the air conditioning was a nice respite when we returned from our excursions. Another stand out was how the staff managed to organise everything we needed in a seamless fashion, from pickup and drop off to the airport, which is now miles away from the city centre, to organising tours and providing us with an amazing tour guide. One of the best places we have stayed in. The staff are definitely the major standout for this Hotel.
