The property is very clean and updated amenities

The distance is a little bit out of pub street but the property offers free one way tuk tuk rides from 5-8 which made up for the distance, we would stay there again. It’s not a far ride, 4 minutes.

All staff were attentive, considerate, accommodating, keen to help in every way and had a genuine interest in making our stay special. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to potential visitors to Siem Reap. We were upgraded to a fabulous room with its own private pool. The accommodation was kept clean and tidy by housekeeping.On arrival, the desk staff were professional, approachable, knowledgeable and courteous. My wife and I were very impressed with the way in which the hotel was run. Everybody knew what they had to do and all worked together to ensure that the mood of the hotel and guests was met consistently. We both hope to be able to return to Cambodia and stay at this hotel again. We were able to relax, knowing that anything we requested would be addressed with a smile.... Thank you for making our stay memorable, my wife was sad to leave.....

Metta Residency is an amazing property, beautifully and aesthetically designed. The rooms were absolutely gorgeous, making this hotel probably our most favorite one. A special appreciation goes to Mr. Andy at the reception, who not only upgraded our room for free but also assisted us in getting a scooter and guided us on everything from the beginning. The breakfast was also amazing, and the staff is incredibly loving and welcoming. They offer fantastic deals on beverages and food, adding to the overall experience. The pool is beautiful and clean, making for a perfect relaxing spot. Overall, Metta Residency provides an exceptional stay with top-notch service and amenities.

This is truly one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at throughout my travels. From start to finish, the entire staff went above and beyond to ensure we had an exceptional stay. Particularly big thanks to Andy who was always taking care of our needs. They welcomed us with warm smiles, upgraded our room, and enhanced our experience with complimentary drink vouchers, free tuk-tuk rides, and a 50% discount on massages and food. The breakfast was outstanding, featuring a variety of healthy and high-quality options. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment here, from the spa to the laundry service and more. The hotel’s lush green garden and stunning views added to the charm of this wonderful place.

This is a truly beautiful hotel, the room was large and spacious and there was real attention to detail. The real stars were the staff who went and above and beyond, extremely polite and friendly and really did their best. Location isn't far from Angkor Watt either. The pool and free massage was great, and they offered free drinks every day!

We did have one or two issues that normally would hit this review quite hard, but they really did so much to fix our problems that I'm not even going to complain about it. Sometimes things happen or get missed, but their aim to immediately make it right really made up for it.

As soon as we walked into Metta it felt like paradise. The pool area and the staff are what really sell this hotel. Our room was very big although I would say it's more of a 4* than a 5*. We enjoyed the daily complimentary drinks during Happy Hour and the breakfast selection was great. We also had a very relaxing spa package and the price was very reasonable.

We had a few issues during our stay but as soon as we notified the manager they were so apologetic and went out of their way to ensure we had a great rest of our stay. A huge thank you to the manager at the front desk who organised a complimentary tuk tuk for me for when I was leaving.

The residence is a little bit out of town but there is a one-time free TukTuk ride to town a day (5-8pm). As well it is nice for having some rest. The room is very big and the bathroom is a dream. The Pool outside is clean and big with some nice add ons. The staff is super friendly and always wants the best for you as a guest. We got a promotion of 2 free Cocktails (6-7pm) a day which we enjoyed a lot :) The breakfast Buffet is a dream. You can find everything from salat to pancake to Springrolls and Noodles to pastries, Juice and coffee, bread and cheese. It is amazing :) The decoration in the room was very sweet and the housekeeping staff does a perfect Job!

This hotel truly stands apart from the others in Siem Reap. If you’re travelling on a budget but want to treat yourself in one spot, this is the one! In all of South East Asia we found that this is truly the best bang for your buck. It was spotlessly clean, the water in the pool was crystal clear, every service imaginable. Their laundry service was excellent, they were able to get stains out which we thought would be impossible. The food was excellent (local and western), they also offer two free happy hour cocktails every single day which were shaken on ice with lovely fresh herbs and generous shots of good quality alcohol (not just speed rail). Get the package with the free daily massage, it’s so worth it, we recommend Asrey and Ratey, they both give a real deep tissue massage up to western standards (not just a soft rubbing massage which is really common in Asia). This was a truly excellent surprise! We were sad that we only did this for one of the days. We actually extended our stay because we were so pleased with this place and ended up adding the massage package on our last day. Had we known how great it would be, we would have done it everyday. The hotel deserves it 5 stars for facilities and is as shown in photos - no surprises there, which is great .. but what really stands apart here is the staff. They are 24/7 giving over the top perfect service, they really make you feel like you’re the only people in the hotel, even if it is fully booked. Vichet at the bar took the time to explain all kinds of cultural history and traditions to us, and Lucky taught us local Kmer words every day - this meant a lot to us and gave us a one-of-a-kind experience that we will not forget. Andy at the front also makes you feel like you’re coming home every day after long hot days full of walking and climbing at the temples. The second you walk into this place, you feel like you’re at the spa, it’s the perfect restful oasis after the temples!

Honestly nothing, there is genuinely nothing that we can critique about this place. It is a bit more expensive than the majority but we have tried the 28$ range in Siem Reap and it is so worth it to spend a bit more and stay at Metta, it is a completely different experience.

We really enjoyed the Metta Residence and ended up extending our stay. The rooms are comfortable and pool area nice and peaceful but really the staff are exceptional! All of the staff are super helpful and friendly. Lucky in particular was extremely welcoming and accommodating, he went out of his way to make sure that we enjoyed our stay. We would also recommend booking a Tuk Tuk tour of Angkor Wat through the hotel, it was a highlight of our trip and our driver, Mr Yan, was also so helpful and friendly and also drove us for the rest of our stay in Siem Reap. Would recommend staying at Metta Residence for a relaxing and personal experience.

Some more vegetarian options on the menu would have been nice

This place was one of the best accommodation during our trip through Asia. The employees are so attentive and supportive in every matter and makes the experience so enjoyable. Rooms - comfy, clean and generous in terms of space. On top of that, they have amazing view of the interior garden. Restaurant - breakfast has plenty of variety and everything they offer is fresh and super tasty. Dinner and lunch were also great ( a la carte) and the service is spot on. Happy hour: free cocktail every evening between 6-7 pm, at the bar next to the pool. The SPA ladies are fantastic. I’ve tried several scrubs and massages, all super relaxing. Overall, I cannot recommend it enough this place!
