First of all, You will be welcomed by very kind and generous staff at this hotel. I spent 3 days here and had no problem and nothing to complain about the staff. I forgot some items in the hotel after my check-in. Mr. Kim, the manager, called me personally and passed them to a tuk tuk driver so I could pick them up with no issue. I will always remember their kindness. Second of all, it is worth the money considering the size of the room. I stayed here alone, and the room was huge for me. And the scenery on the second floor was lovely in the morning and at night over the pool. I suppose it could be great for family trips. I will definitely come back with my family here in the future. Lastly, The room service and the laundry service were also great, too, not to mention the breakfast

The location is not in the city centre but it is also not too far. And you can enjoy free tuk tuk between 5pm-8pm.

Metta is a great place to stay while visiting Siem Reap! The resort can best be described as an oasis. We got upgraded to a resident suite for free. The suite was spacious, with its own, large balcony with view of the pool and garden, a big and comfortable bed, and a great bathroom with shower and bathtub. It was also very quiet at night, and we slept very well during our stay. The pool-area was nice, and the pool is large enough to actually swim in. The breakfast was nice, and the dinner offered at the hotel restaurant was also very good. The spa-treatments is strongly recommended. All hotel-staff we encountered were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend Metta to others who plan to visit Siem Reap

We had the most wonderful stay at Metta Residence & Spa! The hotel itself is so well put together, so clean, stylish and it has everything you need. The breakfast buffet is delicious, the cocktails were amazing (Thanks Vichet! 😉) and we had a lovely dinner in the restaurant. But we think the thing that has made this stay unforgettable is the incredible staff! They will make sure everything is perfect, and they go above and beyond to do so! When we would return from a daytrip they would know what we did and they would be genuinely curious to know how we liked it. We especially want to thank the kind man who helped us with planning our trip to Angkor Wat (sorry we don’t remember your name!), the lovely talks and cocktails made by Vichet, and last but definitely not least the wonderful Lyhoung, with whom we had some good talks and laughs 😉 We couldn’t recommend this hotel enough, if you find yourself in Seam Reap, Metta Residence & Spa is like a home far away from home… 💗

Pool fab, rooms huge, ac worked well, food good, cocktails good, not too packed. Staff very helpful and good English. They will go out of their way for you. Spa fab too. Sun loungers excellent. Free tuk tuk into town from 5pm - 8pm each evening

No bar and poolside bar only opens at 6pm, but has free cocktails. You can get drink in restaurant. Would have been nice if they regularly checked when sunbathing if you required drink (1st World problem). Maybe poolside bar closed as low season. I would definitely recommend this resort.

Staff was really friendly and supportive. Whenever we had an issue, they tried to solve these issues with good suggestions. In addition, all the Tuk-Tuk drivers and car drivers arranged by the hotel were excellent, and we have felt comfortable traveling with them. Generally rooms and facilities are well-maintained with a good sense of designing.

initially, room was not what we expected without good view of the pool side. Also, facility of the room (dryer, floor and shower etc..) was not good enough, but this issue was solved after the hotel arranged a new room for us.

I will start with our favorite person from staff that really made a difference to our experience: Kimhong. All members of staff were very helpful but if it wasn’t for him I would have rated lower -he just made us forget about all the little inconveniences. Speaks great english compared to other members of staff, is enthusiastic, and very attentive to guests and finally loved his genuine recommendations about the spa treatments! We did 3 in total: both massages and my facial were great- huge thanks to the spa staff providing us an excellent experience! We also liked a lot the common space- spent two days by the pool reading my book and really enjoyed it! Finally thanks to all staff that prepared for us a romantic surprise to celebrate our anniversary and engagement! It was lovely!

1. We had breakfast every day and also had lunch once. I believe the food can be improved a little bit e.g. the croissants etc. 2. Despite the lovely surprise, we weren’t put int the right room we had originally booked so we had to change to go to the one with the pool view. the staff took care of it though. 3. Tip: if you go to the temples day and wake up for sunrise views (meaning u leave the hotel at 4.30am) ask the staff to clean your room first if possible. We came back knackered and had to wait for the room to be cleaned because they were very busy on the day but of course we asked for it and they immediately took care of it while we grabbed some lunch at the restaurant.

The hotel is really very nice with clean rooms. Beautiful swimming pool. But what has exceeded all our expectations is the staff. They were super helpful and ready to organize whatever activity we wanted. The price of partners they are using for this is honest. Overall we really had a nice stay there at a super good price.

The only tiny minus of this hotel is the location. The hotel is a bit far from the centre, however, they provide you with a free tuk-tuk to go to the centre, but you have to pay the way back, it's not a big deal and not that much expensive (about 8k if you pay in local currency) if you keep this in mind.

Perfect stay in a wonderful place with heartwarming people! Beautiful and very relaxing pool area. The staff is absolutely attentive, heartwarming friendly and helpful. Thank you so much for making our stay so perfect. We enjoyed the beautiful pool area, good food from the restaurant & cocktails (one hour per day free cocktails for everyone), great sunrise trip to Angkor with tour guide organized from the hotel, relaxing massage (50% off price for guests), free airport shuttle etc. This was the best hotel experience we had on our tour and we can highly recommend the hotel. ❤️

The architecture was incredible! Everything was very well kept despite the staff crisis in Asia. ( Shortage of personal around all of Asia) The rooms are very spacious and well appointed! The bath tube is huge! easily fits two! The first floor is definitely the place to stay! There is a free cocktail happy hour from 18:00! The breakfast is a feast and changes every day. You should really try the Khmer breakfast with spring rolls. If something is not available they will cook it for you. But most of all THE STAFF! Everybody working there couldn't do anything more to make our stay pleasant. They were genuinely caring and helpful! Thank you so much!

The spa masajes. The spa is beautiful but the level of the masajes does not match what is on offer in the city. Screaming kids around the pool but what can you do about this! I guess adult only hotel would be more in keeping with the style of the hotel.

The villa that we stayed at was amazing. We had the pool view balcony that takes 10 steps to the happy hour bar and 3 steps to the pool. We love our room, it was very spacious, clean and well setup. The staff are very friendly, kind and helpful. The food was decently good as well. It is about 8mins drive on Tuk Tuk to go to Pub Street and 20-25mins to Angkor Wat.

As much we loved and enjoyed our stay a lot, we struggled with the phone reception and internet connection. We were able to get good internet connection if we are around the pool area and the restaurant. However, phone reception was very poor in the area.
