The resort has 3 pools and a central restaurant/bar with excellent staff who are always happy to bring food and beverages to you. If fact the staff are what make this resort, you always feel well looked after and they will assist you in any way they can. The gardens are well maintained and the rooms are well equipped.
If I'm being hyper critical the rooms are a little dated and the location being about 10 minutes drive from central Siam Reap may not suit everyone, Personally though I loved the tuk tuk ride into town ($6US return), there were always drivers available and we managed to score a regular driver (Poleng) who was fantastic.

Beautiful little resort with very friendly, helpful staff who helped to make us stay very enjoyable. Three beautiful pools and beautiful relaxed surroundings with a lovely restaurant as the centre of the resort. Our room was very comfortable, but if we were picky, we would say we would like a TV and the lighting was very bright over the bed, so would have benefited from having two bedside lamps. However, we would recommend this hotel to anyone and would also recommend the Kulen elephant trip, which was outstanding.

Relaxing atmosphere. A lovely lap pool which is great for those wanting to exercise, with two other pool options for those wanting to relax in a pool. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Just a lovely place to stay.
A minor issue was the air con stopped blowing cold in our room when we went to bed (initially it worked) however after telling reception of the problem they offered and then moved us to another room immediately. Great service. During check out they still apologised for the inconvenience even though the inconvenience was very short termed.

Navutu is like a dream! Arriving after long days of looking at the amazing temples, it’s the perfect antidote to come home to this luxury resort away from all the hustle bustle. Relax by the 3 pools, enjoy a massage, facial or yoga session. The breakfast each morning is delicious and lots of options to choose from and the cappuccinos are spot on. The service is incredibly friendly and always helpful. They arranged for a bday cake for my husband and sang him ‘happy birthday’ and arranged a car service very late the night before when we decided we wanted to go to the Kulen waterfalls. Pauli was our tuk tuk driver and he was always smiling, warm & friendly. He gave good advice on which temples to visit and when. I also loved the eco friendly aspect of the resort with water refill stations, glass water bottles and no plastic toiletries. Yes, it is a bit far out of town ( 20-25 mins by tuk tuk) from the temples and 15 mins into town but it’s worth it! We stayed for 4 nights but could have stayed much longer! Siem Reap had a great vibe, incredible food at all the restaurants and the markets and pub street are fun too. We can’t wait to visit again soon!

I really loved this place and it exceeded my expectations. The room was super-cool, with very aesthetically pleasing design and I am glad I chose a garden room as it was quieter than having a room by the pool. The staff were super friendly and I had 2 Khmer massages which were wonderful. The pool was big enough for lengths and I like the fact that they had a smaller pool in a different area for families. This kept the main pool quieter for those of us who wanted to chill and read. The breakfasts were amazing, and big enough so that I did not bother with lunch. Restaurant menu was good, with a mixture of Asian, European and local dishes. Good value as it was really very chic and had the small family run hotel feel to it, which I prefer to the larger commercial hotels.
It was all good, and there was nothing to complain about. Extremely helpful staff and comfortable.

One of the reasons I chose this hotel was the three pools - it meant one of the pools was always quiet and it was just a lovely, tranquil setting. The breakfast was awesome - they had some great choices for food, but our favourite was the Cambodian noodle soup (I can't remember the actual name) and they'd also bring us a 'breakfast platter' with fruit and bread. In addition to this, we did the sunrise at Angkor Wat and they sorted a packed breakfast for us (you need to request at reception)! The room was massive and while kind of rustic/unrefined in some respects, it was all functional and charming. Additionally, if you followed the instructions (like closing the bathroom doors to keep out warm air) the AC was awesome at keeping the room cool despite the sweltering heat outside. Additionally, we were sort of 'assigned' a wonderful tuk-tuk driver, Ry, who took us on all of our trips (these cost extra, which are set out very clearly in a brochure) and he was so accommodating and helpful. It was really lovely to know you had a reliable driver and didn't need to haggle. You might be able to find a tuk-tuk for a bit cheaper, but we were very happy with the prices.
The only thing we didn't love was the taxi we booked to get to the airport - it was a van that smelled a bit smokey. I don't think it was owned by the hotel, but might be associated with them. However, two things to note in case it might affect your stay: 1. the retreat is further away from the main centre than most hotels, so it's a 10 minute tuk-tuk drive each way (we knew this and were very happy with that) 2. the rooms don't have televisions - this wasn't an issue for us, but it may be for those who expect it.

Possibly one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in. Not 5 star luxury, but small, friendly, boutique (I hate that word but it fits in this case). We had a family room, a few steps from one of the swimming pools. It was large, spacious and very comfortable. The three small pools were beautiful - it was an absolute oasis to return to after mornings exploring the area. Breakfasts were fabulous - and lovely to have great Italian coffee!
The menu was quite limited and too many western dishes - we would have much preferred more local choices. Also v expensive food - we would have eaten there more if it was more reasonably priced and better choice of Cambodian food.

Beautiful and peaceful hotel with three good-sized pools. The place never felt crowded; most of the time you had a pool just for yourself. We also appreciated glass water bottles in the hotel room instead of plastic ones and the refill stations. Food was very tasteful and the portions were big. Excellent passion fruit mojitos! The staff was very friendly and organized skillful tuk-tuk drivers to take us to the centre.
Ice cubes in the drinks could be bigger so that they wouldn't melt so quickly and change the taste. In the massage room there was a clock ticking. I would have preferred some relaxing music instead.

Wonderful quiet place a little outside of the city center! 3 nice pools, 2 of them where you can actually take a swim in. Spacious rooms with big bathrooms. Good a la carte breakfast as well as dinner but nothing overwhelming for reasonable prices. We would rather recommend to spend the evenings outside to enjoy the many great restaurants and bars! The city is easily reachable with the tuk tuk that can be arranged by the hotel. We had one driver assigned to us from airport pick-up until the end of our stay. We did one Spa treatment which was great and also for a reasonable price for a hotel. Last but not least, the staff was exceptionally kind and helpful in arranging tours to Angkor Wat incl. a Guide as well as giving us recommendations for restaurants.

The staff were exceptional - very attentive and always friendly and chatty. The room was lovely and comfortable and the resort was small and very peaceful and relaxing - I really enjoyed my stay here.
The resort is a little out of the main part of town, so it wouldn't be suitable for those wanting to be in the middle of all the action.
