The entrance, foyer and the rest of the public space on the ground floor are open and airy with a real architectural presence that manages to be simultaneously modern and traditionally Khmer. The welcome you receive here is outstanding. The people at the front desk are genuinely interested in their guests and their experiences. The servers at breakfast and in the restaurants are pleasant, helpful and friendly. And the housekeeping staff are cheerful and attentive. When you hear somebody who is cleaning the floor singing a folk song, you know you're in a good place! And I mustn't forget Mr. Mao, the tuk-tuk driver, who took us everywhere from Banteay Srei to the new 7-11 - respectful, polite, informative, and always waiting with a bottle of cold water whenever we needed him.

The room (246) was great and the tub in the bathroom was a piece of sculpture in itself. But there was a large bank of air conditioners on the wall of the other wing just ten metres or so away, so the balcony was hot and noisy. Also, the breakfast buffet was excellent, but the menu for lunch or dinner needs to be revamped with more Southeast Asian offerings and a more experimental cuisine.

Hotel is beautiful and our room was also beautiful with comfortable bed and huge bathroom. Breakfast are great with wide range fresh selection, not only bufet but also live cooking (khmer noodles, anything from eggs, pho soup ...) Staff is super nice, they will make you feel like a royalty. Location was very good for us, town center is close and if you don't like to walk there is always some tuk-tuk in front of the hotel that will take you anywhere you want for super low price (or you can ask hotel staff to arrange it for you) Last but not least, gym was perfectly equipped, we are sporty persons so we've enjoyed this part of the hotel a lot

At certain point there were lot of people who started to desperately catch deckchairs around the pool (by putting towels on them) even before they came to the pool so you've got no place to sit ... Its not hotel's fault at all but would be nice if they sort this situation somehow.

This resort is simply amazing, the staff and management are exceptional, I travelled for over two weeks throughout Cambodia and this place by far exceeded all my expectations. rooms were cool, clean and quiet which is actually hard to find in any other hotel, hot water and amazing facilities. special shout out to senior staff member Buntheang, who went above and beyond his duties to teach me his language. I researched for my final stay and if you choose this resort you will not be disappointed

dinner menu could have a little bit more choice’s especially for lunch?

The service at the Borei is on a level that you have never experienced. Every member of staff is here to look after your every need. We booked the Privilege floor (three adjoining king size suits) with king size beds, spacious rooms - the bathrooms have beautiful freestanding claw bathtubs with separate shower. The rooms are tidied every day (if you wish) so they are beautiful and fresh after a day of travelling to Angkor Wat. The breakfast (which is included in the room accommodation) is on a level of buffet that will literally leave you spoilt for choice, from local Cambodian traditional food to western food - there are staff here to accommodate your every taste!

Everything. The staff was super friendly, the room was huge and had a big terrace, big TV with a lot of international channels, a breakfast buffet with a lot of options, a nice pool in front of the bar, a bathroom with a tub.

Not much. The only thing was maybe the quality of the soap in the bathroom (you may be better off bringing your own soap bar), the lack of vegan milk alternatives for breakfast, and the fact that some of the staff doesn't speak English (although they will usually call someone who does). Also, not a problem with the hotel but just a reminder for guests: be careful not to flush the toilet paper because the toilet will clog as the water pressure is pretty low.

Excellent hotel with superior service. The breakfast was absolutely amazing with lots of choices. Very nicely located for our tour of Angkor Wat. Provided a free pick up from the airport. The quality of service from the staff was outstanding. Rooms were well-appointed with an excellent bathroom.

I felt that their electronic controls in the room could do with an upgrade. Not a big deal at all but our room key stopped working and we were locked out for 30 minutes. the staff were quick to respond and fix. As I said, dio not affect our very positive experience.

It's an impressive building. You are welcomed by really friendly and attentive staff. It has a huge pool and a hot and cold yacuzzi, a huge gym. The breakfast was the best I have had so far with many options and 3 stations with a la carte options. The cafe by the pool was a bit pricey, but the food and cocktails were good. The photos on Booking don't do it justice. All in all, it was a perfect place to relax.

We were sad to leave.

Staff was amazing. Andy was so helpful in arranging everything we needed from tours to dinners. The staff was even able to find a ring that we lost in the spa. Massages were fantastic. The cold and warm pools in the spa area are very nice.

The women's sauna wasn't warm enough. I asked for the temperature to be raised but they couldn't change it. The men's sauna area was much nicer and has a very hot sauna. The steam room wasn't hot enough either.

Superb resort hotel of the highest quality. Excellent breakfast, superb room and amazing staff. Beautiful pool area, gardens and traditional Khmer artwork. Lovely bathroom and the Wifi was excellent throughout the property and it was a pleasure to stay there.

Such a minor thing but the electronic programming of the electrics didn’t allow me to charge the phone at the bedside table without the lights being on.

Atmosphere of the hotel which is based on the Khmer style. If you would like to touch upon the traditional South Asian style of accommodation, this hotel could be a good candidate. Staff were friendly and helpful, and they will try to solve issue if there is anything. Facility is well maintained and room is spacious. Breakfast was also good with healthy items.

I like almost all the services I got from this hotel.
