The hotel is not bad for its price: it has a nice little swimming pool, the location is good, and it’s not expensive, BUT…

Half of the reviews seem to be AI generated - they’re all 10 points, super generic and super positive. In fact, we checked this place on Google and were surprised - people were complaining about how the rooms looked like, that there was no hot water, etc etc. When we arrived, we asked to check the room first before checking-in: the rooms are outdated, the shower was hot but barely working. Cleaning ladies didn’t want to give us clean towels, but after we insisted - they did. There’s no proper cleaning and towels changing, they only collect the garbage and put some toilet paper (not every day, though). It’s not a bad option to stay in Siem Reap, especially because of the price, but be aware of some downsides.

Great location. In the evening, some good stands came near the hotel. My favorite restaurant, I forgot the name but there are always some guests there. For instance, Pho 1USD/4,000Rial. The cost of Noodles and rice starts from 1.5USD. Aldo staff are so nice and every time we visited there, they showed bug smiles as if we were their family members. Back to the story about the hotel. There is a place to refill water. Breakfast was perfect. We can choose Juice, coffee, tea, and every breakfast came with fresh local fruits in a spacious dining room. When our tour departed early in the morning and we didn't have time for breakfast. It starts at 6:30. They prepared breakfast boxes for us. They all are nice and kind. We appreciate it 🙏

I had such a great stay at this hotel! The location was perfect right in the heart of downtown, making it super easy to explore everything the area has to offer. This hotel surpassed my expectations regarding cleanliness and service. Every area of the property, from the lobby to my room, was immaculate. The staff went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed during my stay; they were courteous, attentive, and always willing to assist. The location in the heart of downtown was perfect, making it convenient to navigate the area. The bed was among the most comfortable I’ve ever experienced, which is quite a compliment! Although the pool was of medium size, it was well-maintained and ideal for a refreshing swim. Given the price, the facilities and service offered were exceptional. I would certainly consider returning.

Great value given low cost. Good size room, very friendly staff, quiet location but a short walk to restaurants and bars in centre. Good restaurants close by. The pool was a real treat. Be sure to see the fruit bats in the square nearby. We used a wonderful tuktuk driver called Chard three times when we stayed at VPlus. He arranged for us to visit Prek Toal bird sanctuary/ floating villages for about 60% of the cost charged by the other agencies. We highly recommend him. His WhatsApp is 855 17 408 144.

If you want to pay on Riels the hotel offers the least favourable USD - Riel exchange rate we came across in Cambodia. The air conditioning was ferocious. We wore jumpers in bed!

Perfect location for everything, with great cafes, bakery, bike rental, shops and Tuktuks on the street. Surprisingly quiet in the hotel and room. Comfortable beds and nice bathroom. Kettle and tea & coffee in the room and drinking water refilled daily. Good WiFi.

The AC in our room was pretty weak and we had a wobbly table. Also, Be aware that the pool is small and at the front of the hotel, at the roadside, with only seats and space for about 4 people to be beside the pool. It was basically an area for smokers when we were there. Although I did swim in the pool everyday to cool off and enjoyed it.

Since we got moved to the hotel next door, this review is for Angkor Land Urban Boutique: The pool was very nice and in the inner yard of the hotel instead of right next to the street at VPlus. The hotel organised remork drivers on short notice and for a fair price ($25/day). Good AC, calm room and the twin room had two queen sized beds.

Since we got moved to the hotel next door, this review is for Angkor Land Urban Boutique: Wifi reception was pretty bad in the room and the service was a little inconsistent - first there were no towels at all in the room. After asking, they brought us some. The next day we didn't want room service in the room, but we asked reception for fresh drinking water. They told us they would bring it, but it never arrived. So the next day we let room service in, resulting in them taking away half of the towels without replacing them. Nothing major, but a little annoying.
