Sunset beach is the nicest on the island. Super quiet and chilled and beautifully clean. Good places to snorkel. Can rent kayaks and lazy beach is just a short trip away. Great place to relax. Cheap drinks in Robinson and cheapest food on the beach as well.

Sunset beach is out of the way, no ferry access so it's either pay for a taxi boat (not always possible depending on weather) or walk 30/40 mins from the main bay through the jungle. Because it's so out of the way just be aware that there is no signal and very little wifi access. Also the food prices are more than the rest of the island (7-10 dollars for a meal) also note that there is no electrical outlets in the rooms, only at the restaurant where you can leave your things to charge.

Location, tranquility, beach bungalow itself. This place is definitely worth a hike through the jungle. Once the hike is over you are rewarded with a stunning sunset, beautiful quiet beach, great snorkelling spots. Great place to escape hectic life for a bit.

The battery operated fan died after less than 2 hours which made it difficult to sleep due to heats

Totally loved it! Best place in Cambodia!!! Excellent location far away from the main beach on an isolated beach. You have to walk 45 minutes through the jungle to get there so not too much tourists ;) really feel like paradise! Great spot with plenty of hammocks and lying cushions on the beach, nice sunset bar. Possiblity to rent stand up paddle. Very good food with plenty of vegetarian options, always available even if far from everything. We had the small rustic bungalow which were perfect to us, even if shared bathroom (always clean and plenty of toilet paper). One thing you have to do : go in the water at night from the beach and watch the bioluminescent plankton!!!! It is amazing!!! Friendly and efficient staff :)

Nothing! If you are looking for good wifi this is not the place, it is more a disconnection spot ;)

Our bungalow had a great view of the sea from the balcony and you can hear the waves at night. The food at the restaurant was really good and the setting felt relaxed. I liked the jungle vibe and being away from the main beach

The hike down to the accommodation was difficult with luggage (we had large backpacks) and a boat option wasn’t available to take us back. We weren’t provided any information about the island and what activities we could do (we would have liked to have been given this information on arrival). The bungalows were very hot and sticky at night (didn’t get a good sleep) - we were provided with a fan each, however they only last around 5 hours. There was a lot more pollution on the beach than I was expecting. The coastal erosion meant that getting in and out the sea was tricky and you have the navigate the rocks (not safe in a swell) - have to walk down the beach to be able to get in and out safely.

Just - wow. The location is unbelievable - our hut opened right out on to the beach and we fell asleep every night to the sound of waves crashing a few feet away. During our stay we only saw a handful of other people, it really was a deserted island paradise. Absolutely loved everything about our stay here. The staff are brilliant and the food - whilst a bit pricier than the rest of Cambodia - is really good and the portions are big. I was expecting a really basic cabin but our family bungalow really exceeded my expectations - it was big, spotlessly clean and the veranda with lazy seats and hammocks was wonderful. We had mosquito nets but hardly saw any during our stay (I'd also read about sandflies but pleased to say we didn't encounter any of these either!). There is Starlink WiFi in the main building which was good enough for checking emails/messages etc. There are also plenty of chargers up there if you need them. There are a couple of other sets of bungalows along the beach with small restaurants attached so there are other options for food and drink. Mainly we just enjoyed chilling out and swimming in the beautiful sea every day! The walk from the other side of the island took us 35mins (with two kids) so it's not too much of a hike (and totally worth it to get to stay somewhere so amazing!)

Sunset beach is just beautiful. Perfect for swimming and I loved the hike to get there! You can't get lost. The food was good and there were plenty of options for vegetarians and vegans. Didn't have any cocktails but I thought the happy hour here was a good price! The khmer lady running the place is smiley and happy 😊 They had free water refills and lots of games to play.

The food was overpriced for the portion size. Need 3 mains between 2 otherwise you would go hungry meaning it's like $15 on one meal for 2. Other places on sunset beach have a better beach area but it is 100m further so no big deal just to walk there. I feel like there are too many volunteers here. You don't know who actually works there and who can help you. I felt like they weren't that friendly. Also when I checked in the staff was like "what do you want?" because I was interrupting his game of uno. Then he let me lug two massive backpacks to the bungalow on my own. I don't expect people to take my bag but it would have been a nice gesture as they were heavy bags after a long hike and I'm just a tiny girl!! That said, I'd recommend the place for sure! Wifi was pants.

The most breathtaking sunset view I've ever experienced... The sea was absolutely serene, even though the opposite side of the island was windswept. The Robinson side, however, remained perfectly calm. We can use the stand-up paddle for free There are two ways to reach this hidden gem: Take a private boat from the Sarabeach terminal—though this service is sometimes unavailable due to rough weather. Opt for a short hike across the island to reach the other side. Be sure to wear sturdy hiking boots, as the trek takes around 40 minutes.

The food is enjoyable, but introducing a wider variety of options could make it even better.

Beautiful bungalow on sunset beach. Looking straight out to the sea with a private balcony. We couldn't believe our luck when we arrived, this is an amazing place to relax for a few days. The hike to get here is hard, do not underestimate it, the last 10 minutes are very physically challenging down rocks but the staff are there waiting with an ice cold drink for you afterwards. We spent our days paddle boarding on the free paddle boards, reading our books and swimming. The food and drinks are so fresh, you will be eating fresh produce for every mouthful - all traditional Khmer. As it is the islands be aware the prices are more expensive. Shared showers and bathrooms exceeded expectations, kept very clean. Mosquito net provided and portable small fan for overnight.

Couldn't fault the bungalows but just a warning it is very hot and humid at night - the staff are so helpful and give you a portable fan but just be prepared for this to be a real island experience, no AC, no hot shower, warm through the night etc.

Off the beaten track definitely worth the walk (however I see why people say it's a hard walk especially in the heat!) but that's what makes this place so special. So peaceful and secluded. Great size tent and the other huts looked cute. Very homely feel. Open air restaurant serving great food. Would have preferred two nights here vs our place in Koh Rong! Very helpful, pleasant staff.

Not too much to say really! I mean.. I miss having alittle kettle access as I love my early morning and evening cuppas (but that's a me problem!) If I had to say anything I'd say the beds are quite hard, and the bar was noisy (but we were tired quite early).

Fantastic hideaway. Robinson bungalows is a real treasure. It’s a beautiful place to unwind relax and swim. If you’re looking for activities, jet skis, beaches crowded with tourists and night life this is not the place for you! Instead we got a great chance to relax and reconnect with nature. The staff and other guests were extra friendly. Highly recommended.

The walk from the pier is about 30 minutes. We made the mistake of walking at midday in peak heat. Carrying a full backpack can be a little strenuous, but the end reward is worth it.
