We stayed overnight for my son's surgery. We got a 1 bdrm suite for a excellent price. The rooms were very clean and the atmosphere was more like a home . The staff were fantastic and understanding when my son started vomiting after surgery . The pool is a bit outdated .However it was very clean and warm . Also the pool is open until midnight. Breakfast was a full hot breakfast with fresh waffles,eggs,bacon,sausage,cereal, toast,muffins...ect I definitely will recommend

The only thing I found odd was the location. I found it felt like a industrial maze with alot of dead ends .

Everything was good very modern rooms and lovely decor as you enter and the hallways are lovely and color coordinated. Beds are huge and very comfortable with lots of pillows. Lots of counter space in bathroom which is important and good lighting. We liked that there was plenty of parking space in front of hotel for our rental car. Very reasonable price for Calgary too. Especially since they have a fridge and microwave in the room and there’s a pool and hot tub even though we had no time for it. Also a free breakfast that we also missed.

Didn’t like that phone charging plug ins aren’t next to the bed on either side. New places have them right on the lamps nowadays so you don’t have to get out of bed to charge your phone and use it or check alarms. We missed out on the free breakfast because they didn’t start it at 6 am like they do on weekdays, and we had an early flight . Didn’t like the sink tap spout was too close to back of sink.

I liked the options for guest laundry as well as a fitness room with indoor pool though I did not use those facilities. The free continental breakfast was well organized with a good variety and very clean with efficient help when needed.

There were few food options for lunch and dinner other than the Burger King behind the building. There is a Cactus Club across the street but it is at least 4 lanes to cross (as well as an 80 km/hr speed limit) though the crosswalk is not too far away. The Booking.com site indicated the hotel was close to the airport (used filter for that). This hotel did not have a shuttle. The taxi ride took about 20 minutes (average of 2 rides) and cost me $86.00 total. My taxi passed several hotels (much closer to the airport) and they all had a free shuttle. Mind you, i should have looked closer at my booking with respect to a free shuttle and meal options.

Breakfast was good, beds were very comfortable and it was very quiet. It was is a good location but was a distance from the city center but was not an issue getting around by car. Good value for the money. No nasty smells or perfumy smells. Being a non smoking hotel was a huge plus. Pool area was nice an large and indoors for those very cold winters.

Carpets were a bit stained but other than that it was very clean. No real outside space to lounge. There were a few tables and chairs in the front of the hotel but would be nice to have a little more private outside space, not sure space would allow for it though.

The Calgary Country Inn and Suites is a great deal. It is a bit of a drive to Banff National Park from the hotel, but compared to the hundreds of dollars that you pay to stay in Banff, Canmore, or any of the closer towns, you are really not too far from the park and save a lot of money. Staff is great, and the rooms are quite nice. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!

This is minor, but it was be nice if there was maybe a little more selection of hot foods at the continental breakfast. The one day there were only eggs and potatoes. It would have been nice to have a meat option as well.

The Hotel has a pool which is open til late, guest laundry, breakfast, parking onsite and close to the airport. The rooms were large and comfortable and we could control the temperature. The staff I interacted with were all very helpful.

We arrived late. The Hotel is located in what looks like an industrial area. There are no options onsite for dining so we had to go back out again to find food which was limited due to the time of night and not knowing the area. No options to get change for the guest laundry. No ATM onsite or nearby and unless you have cash on you, you cannot get change from the front desk.

The suite is very comfortable, the pool was refreshing after a long day, the fitness room had a few machines to work out. We keep coming back to this location because of the amenities the staff especially the lady that makes the breakfast. Hard working.

The breakfast is good but when there is so many people trying to eat at the same time it gets crowded. It would be nice if customers would only take what they need respect others that may want to have the same items.

The size of the bedroom and the breakfast

The fact I have to find a way to make a payment at my arrival my credit card was not accepted because not enough money on it plus I tried the other one that I applied quickly for it online and it was refused as well by the staff. The same day at night others came to check in using the same type of card and it was accepted but not mine. This really frustrated me as I arrived with my family from Edmonton and we were so tired. Hopefully this will not happen again.

This was a clean and comfortable hotel. Ample parking and power available for my plug in hybrid was just great. Good coffee in the lobby. Staff friendly. The location and area itself was quiet and felt safe.

The included breakfast very basic, and a real let down. There was not much more than powdered eggs and bacon, and jam on toast for me. No fruit to speak of, or anything really. Our kids actually left and went to Denny's instead. The access to the hotel is a bit weird, as the entrance is accessed through a light industrial area.

Love the pool and the hot tub facilities. The breakfast was good, Lots of variety. The room is comfortable but there were a few dirty things like the coffee maker and there was a little fuzz and hair in the bed. But other than that pretty clean. Staff is friendly.

The breakfast was good but there was a few things that weren’t available even super early in the morning and the eggs were pretty cold but tasty and seen someone’s kid licking the coffee stir sticks and putting them back in the container and no one was monitoring this kid at all (not the hotel problem but something to worry about) Weigh scale was broken.
