The water park is great for children. Staff was over the top nice as far as they could. Printing in the business centre was free and it was open anytime with helpful support from staff when IT wasn’t working.

No option of a ‘lending items’ inventory which would have been very useful as our stay was for two weeks; specifically an in-room microwave was very much missed. No breakfast included added to the inconvenience. But there was a restaurant in the building and the staff gladly offered the use of their microwave ( they were so nice), albeit going down 3 levels and several long aisles and corners two ways left a hope the food would still be hot on return to the room.

The western theme in the lobby was very nice it was great and welcoming. The main purpose for me and my boyfriend visiting Calgary was for the Stampede.Housekeeping was great if you need toilet paper or extra towels or anything else there is always a housekeeper and housekeeping cart close by.They respect your privacy especially when you put the privacy sign on your door.

The front desk staff are all business not very friendly.Everytime me and my boyfriend came into the lobby to go back to our room the front desk staff would just look at us and not say hi or anything.Every other hotel would say hi or something when we walked by the front desk which I found pretty rude. There is no microwave hopefully they are added to the rooms someday.

Pool was great. If you are booking this hotel, and want to access the pool, you need to book the specific room type that gives you access. The location of the pool is in the lobby. This makes the wait to catch an elevator super long. The elevator area in the lobby is constantly busy. Expect to wait for 2 or 3 elevators when you are heading to your room.

This hotel states it is "pet friendly". In fact, they should say "pet tolerant". You must sign a waiver when checking in with your pet. The pet fee is $45. If your pet barks for anything more than 10 minutes, they will charge you $250. This is not mentioned on the website. Floor 5 is extremely busy with families. Do not book this floor if you want a quiet stay. constant kids running down the hallways.

Very comfortable beds. We loved how accommodating the staff was. In one specific moment we had brought back some pizza to eat, thinking we could eat at a table in the lobby. We realized however that the lobby seating was part of their on site restaurant and we really didn't want to eat in our room. The manager of the restaraunt made us space at a table and invited us to sit and eat our dinner. He even instructed his staff to see to our needs. We ended up ordering some delicious mixed drinks before finishing our dinner and returning to our room. It was a kind, compassionate human moment that reflects the care of the staff takes in their guests.

Location to the airport is about 15 minutes. Not bad, but closer options exist. The general area has restaraunt options but otherwise not a ton going on out here.

I’m not sure if they always do it as it was my first stay but the whole foyer and entrance was decked out in ‘western’ decoration, I assume just for the Calgary Stampede on at the time, but that was why I was in town and I had arrived from travelling so it was a cool start to my trip, unexpected and mood-elevating. The front desk were friendly, quick, efficient and helpful, late at night and in the morning as were the cleaning staff in the corridors the next day. It sounds small but it’s been ages since I’ve been in a hotel where the staff are noticeably above expectations!

The pool and water slides for the kids, and the dining options within the hotel.

When I requested a fan, the gentleman who answered the phone asked me if the air conditioning was not working. I replied yes, but that I would like a fan. He asked maintenance if they had one. They did, and said that a maintenance worker would bring one up. That gentleman said,”Here’s you fan” in a disgruntled tone. I said thank you very much!! with no response. I didn’t expect such a negative response from the hotel when asking for a fan.

The service and the details in the room were Fantastic from the little things like the Velcro’s to close the curtains right to the wall to the many outlet plugs and proper organization of where things were, the hotel sure knows what they’re doing to serve their guests. Also the guest services were quick and so friendly!

My family used the pool many times during our stay. Unfortunately we all got a bit of a rash. Not sure the exact cause, maybe something with the chemical balance? Anyways still was a great stay!

Their staff are very friendly and helpful, especially for us travellers who don't know their way around. It's a very class place and I was a bit intimidated to ask questions at first, but everyone was very approachable. They recommended places we can rent cars from, good restaurants near the area, and routes we can take for transportation. Overall amazing stay for 5 days, 4 nights!

The room was very clean and spacious. The breakfast is also very good value for money. The pool and slides are also great fun and well worth the extra charge to the room.

The hotel doesn’t have an airport shuttle service for guests, which was puzzling as they do have two airport shuttles, but these are only available to airline staff. This was a bit annoying as I’ve yet to stay at major airport hotel that didn’t have a shuttle option for guests. The rooms are also a little dated and do need some tlc. This didn’t ruin our trip or anything, but some investment into the rooms is definitely needed to make this a perfect hotel to stay at.

Although we had heard great things about the pool/waterslide, we had never gone, as we heard it was far too crowded. Since the hotel has now limited the number of people allowed in the pool and monitor the people coming in, it was really great. It was also really nice to be able to order food in the pool area.

It would have been nice to have a reasonably priced family restaurant in the hotel. There is a Mcdonald and a Wendy's very close, however, sometimes adults would prefer something other than fast food.
