Loved the location of this hostel. Didn’t have an issue parking either. Staff was super friendly and everything was clean and well taken care of. Check in is super smooth and you’re provided with free towel and linen. Bear spray for rent or buy as well. Shared living area has great views and very comfy feel.
AC didn’t work so was a bit hot. There was nothing in the bathrooms to dry off hands instead of blow dryer. Oh and they lock the kitchen which is very inconvenient if you need to leave early or late because you can’t take your food. I understand they don’t want you to use it but not being able to access is a bit odd to me.

The hostel is very well designed and well managed. One of the best. My only discomfort was the air becoming stuffy in the dormitory. Due to someone closing the only window during the night. A minimum amount of default ventilation should be guaranteed in dormitories containing several occupants.

The hostel is well located, with parking available (vehicle registration required at the front desk). It offers a range of rooms, including private suites designed for guests with accessibility needs. The shared spaces are spacious, clean, and well-organized. Kitchens are fully equipped, though fridge space can be limited during busy seasons. All bedding and towels provided are clean and neatly arranged. A standout feature is the bed design in shared dorms: each one includes a shelf, personal power outlets, a reading light, and a curtain that adds privacy and blocks light — a small detail that makes a significant difference. Pro tip for shared rooms: Bring earplugs and a sleep mask to ensure a restful night.

Very clean! Nice sheets and beautiful well equipped kitchen. Mountain View’s all around. Extremely clean beds , showers and kitchen. Nice spacious rooms with lots of space for luggage. The guests were polite and quiet. Everyone follows the rules and respects each other.
Staff could have been more helpful. We tried to get the WiFi going for almost 40 minutes, asking for the front desk for help and they seemed disinterested. The showers and restrooms are co-ed which I find a little uncomfortable.

Fantastic hostel with great facilities and friendly staff. Probably the only hostel I've been to where they offer free underground parking!! 😱🤩🤩 Great location!!
Just a heads up. You need to take outside shoes off before entering the hostel. It would be beneficial for the hostel/booking.com to advertise this, so that if you want to bring inside shoes you can. I just wore socks though. 😃😃 No freezers in the kitchen for food, just fridges. Again, not a bad thing, just something to keep in mind.

We were a trio of 45-50 yr olds and we loved our stay! Everything was spotlessly clean. Each bed had a curtain surrounding it for privacy, but I kept one side open because the view from my bunk (and the common area) was fantastic! The common area is beautiful and inviting and had several activities available. I appreciated having a place outside of the room for everyone to keep their muddy/stinky hiking boots, too. We didn't have an opportunity to use the kitchen, but it was large and seemed well-stocked. We saw many others making good use of it. With the exception of an overhead fan that started squeaking on our last night, our entire 4-night stay was perfect.
An overhead fan developed a squeaking noise our last night. It was annoying but did not ruin our stay in any way.

Great location with an amazing view, bus stop to Banff directly in front, affordable in comparison to the hotels in the city, lot of storage in the bunk beds and curtains, always clean, big kitchen with everything you need
only thing I didnt like was the heavy dorm door, which was kind of noisy when people went in and out. especially when you have a bed next to the door it can be a bit annoying in the night. but thats just a tiny flaw :)

Room F, beds 3&4 had great views of the mountains. Liked the separate toilet and shower rooms in each dorm room. Linens were good quality. Mattress and metal bed frame were very comfortable. Kitchen area had separate work & clean up spaces. Full commercial refrigerator for perishables as well as a Free Food basket. Staff were friendly and helpful. Special shut out to Sunday June 9 male staff member and Marianne? French speaking staff member Tuesday June 11. Merci beaucoup. Nice, really nice hostal.
By far the most expensive hostal I have ever stayed in but well worth the price given the location and access to Canmore, Banff National Park and beyond. Highly recommended.

Great location, as a solo female traveller I felt very secure and safe in my room. Woke up to a view of the Three Sisters mountains from my window. After staying in random motels in my trek across Canada I was so pleasantly surprised by the nice bathroom. The lodging is modest and spare but very nicely done and the price was great. I was anticipating a more chaotic lodging as I have never stayed in a hostel, but my room was very quiet and I slept very well. Jason at front desk was very pleasant to deal with.

Access to a kitchen with refrigeration and special boxes for your own food. Multiple washrooms for all genders to use. The dorms are a good size and have lockers to keep your stuff secure. It felt like a safe and friendly environment. I loved the board with restaurant recommendations and the hike suggestions with their time and distance to complete. It was a great place to make new friends in or do your own thing.
When I tried to find out whether I needed to bring a towel it wasn't clear until I got the check in email. I brought a towel just in case but that took up space in my luggage I could have used for other things. It would be nice if there were some basics to access for cooking (ex. Salt, pepper, sugar). When there are lots of people in the kitchen it can get a bit awkward getting around but it's a great gathering space.
