Absolutely stunning location. The view was unbeatable. The room was cozy and very clean. The staff left a few complimentary snacks which was really nice. The bathtub is big and relaxing and all of the windows give you an incredible view of the fjord. Communication with staff was great, and checking in was the easiest thing ever, just put in your code, and no need to go to the front desk if you want minimal interactions. Overall, I would highly recommend Moon Water Lodge. It was the perfect romantic getaway and I would 100% stay here again!

Because the lodge is in the most beautiful location, lots of people seemed to be stopping to take photos, and some people walked down near the entrance to our room to get a better shot, which was a little awkward but had nothing to do with the lodge!

I loved the beautiful view, that it was pet friendly & self contained. Bed was decent, bath tub was such a bonus. Awesome to have pet beds and water bowls and treats for the dogs. Also the yogurt and snacks and oj was so awesome and unexpected!

We were originally locked out of our hotel and with bo front desk person it was a little chotic but they did answer after second phone call, and we did get in. Though I'm still not sure why the door code was what they had it as to begin with. It wasn't the last 4 digits of our credit card like they said it would be. Also we had a man and woman above us and one over fighting til 2 am, at one point they were evening hitting each other. I thought for sure the cops would be called or they'd be kicked out, they were on the deck with music and extremely loud and it was worrisome to say the least. They didn't get kicked out and no cops came.

The view was amazing and the room was more than I expected, I never got to meet any staffs in person but there are numbers of notes, emails etc. Anyways they prepared perfectly without you need to ask for more help. I loved it, wanted to stay there forever. Thank you.

I wish there was restaurants or anywhere to eat in walking distance. There was one when I googled then when I actually went over it has note on saying it is closed :( If I knew earlier I would prepare something to cook in the room :)

Very nice location and a great view on the water. The interior of the rooms is very nice and overall a great place to stay even longer. The service people are very friendly although only remotely available.

Unfortunately there is no receptionist service on site. All information should be provided beforehand per email and if needed through a hotline. Make sure that you get all the necessary information as early as possible, as the hotline did not work for me at arrival the first day.

As would be expected, the views are amazing. This is what we were looking for, and this is what we got. To be honest I was VERY hesitant to pay this much for the room based on some reviews, but at least the room that we stayed in was not dirty, or filthy, no bad smells (this was Kind Supreme room). It is definitely dated, but not disgusting like other reviews made it out to be. Quite comfortable and cozy with the gas fireplace. The restaraunt is a short walk away, like across parking lot, and it was very nice as well. The hosts were very kind and chatty. Again, the views, are amazing.

I am not sure that I liked not checking-in in person. There was no one at the reception when we arrived, and I had to call both numbers posted on the door to get through to someone. The person who answered explained to us how to get into our room over the phone. I understand staffing issue and stuff, but for the price paid, it would have been nice to be greeted. That is my only gripe. Oh, the tub in the corner is just a bathtub FYSA! It is my own fault for not realizing that, but for some reason I thought it was a hot tub (jacuzzi).

The restaurant across the breezeway was quite nice, and the advertised pizza was awesome. It was also handy having a gas station and convenience store in the same turnoff. The view from the room was stunning, the tub was wonderful and the bed was huge and comfortable (plus they actually give lots of pillows!). The staff were super friendly and helpful when we spoke to them. The binder provided did have a lot of helpful information and interesting history of the area. The little kitchen area was well stocked with utensils, dishware and they happily provided us with more coffee for the machine when we asked. The balcony was nice as well and provided a lot of privacy.

The shower was very small, my partner and I had to take turns. There was some clearly dusty areas in the room though overall it was clean. Neither of us was able to connect to the in room wifi with any of our devices, and while it's not the hotel's fault, the soundproofing isn't great as my partner was woken up by the sound of the guest above us walking around, speaking on the phone and opening patio doors/drawers very late at night.

We enjoyed the view and waking up to the sunrise was very well worth the money along with the soaker tub.

The guests below us were smoking and the smell would come in the rough the balcony. We also spotted a couple ants on the walls. The wifi wouldn’t work in our room to connect to Netflix on our tv, wasn’t the biggest deal but would have been nice since there wasn’t many options on tv.

The size of the room and it’s facilities, and especially the outlook and the balcony looking along the inlet. Staff on site were friendly and eager to help us find the route to our ongoing destination. The ease of parking also made our arrival less stressful.

In view of the hotel’s position, some fifteen minutes drive from shops and food outlets, it was a pity that the nearby cafe/restaurant only offered take out pizzas, and that there was no other food provision apparent.

Unbeatable view any time of the day! Very welcoming and more of a home feeling than a commercial hotel. Not far from Victoria by car, with other cute little areas to visit within a short driving distance. We will definitely be returning SOON!

The view is exceptional and picturesque! The first night we stayed, it was a sunny day and you could see the water. The second day, when we got back to the lodge the area was COVERED in a fog. We stood outside and watched the fog lift, it was an incredible view. The lodge is also a very beautiful structure! Would gladly stay again! Most people left bad reviews like to stay in cookie cutter hotels. No some mom and pop. Im so happy we booked!
