The room was very clean and this cleanliness was maintained by daily cleaning. The hotel is located in a quiet green area away from the noise and bustle, which is good for me, but the nearest attractions are far away. Convenient underground parking with access only for hotel residents, fast Internet and delicious coffee are also among the advantages of this place.

When checking in, no one said anything about using the coffee machine, or that you can take fruits and muffins for breakfast. Also a surprise was the fact that parking is paid, only 10 cad per day, but nevertheless they did not warn about this in advance.

We stayed here on our first night on Vancouver Island, on our way up to the northern part of the island. It was a good location for that as we could get on Canada One without driving through Victoria in the morning. The beds were comfortable. They had good climate control for the room.

The bathroom and the table could have been cleaner. The lighting was very dim in the portion of the room where the beds are. Also they put a large hold on our credit card in case there were any damages to the room, probably because there were dents in the wall from previous occupants.

I really liked this hotel, it had a good price according to other hotels around Victoria. I really liked the area, it had a charm. There was a restaurant, again it won’t have the best food ever, but the atmosphere was good. Hotel room was very clean and comfortable .

It was a bit far from the surrounding towns, which is not necessarily a problem, but you have to drive to get to places. Once you arrive to the hotel from a long day, you won’t be in the mood to get in the car again to grab dinner. There are some restaurants nearby, but they are not the best. If you stay for a shorter period like us, it’s not a problem, but if you stay longer you might want to have dinner somewhere else.

Lovely comfortable beds, amazing bathroom, balcony, lots of space in the room, quiet location. Coffee & muffins provided for breakfast in reception.

Additional parking charge, this was advised at time of booking, but should be included. No facilities in the property, but available locally - such as pool, restaurant etc…

I really liked the size of the room and Peter at the front desk was very helpful and professional. I appreciated the level of service he provided. I also enjoyed the bed in the room and pillows.

There were shoes from the previous guest in the closet of one of our rooms(#310) and the sofa bed didn’t have clean bedding. There was something that looked like a dried coffee or tea stain that would have been caught had housekeeping checked the bedding, which kinda made me question the cleanliness of the other bedding as well.

The room was fabulous - Spacious, with super-comfy beds, a big-screen t.v., a large rainfall shower and large, deep bathtub, plus a kitchenette! Even the large-sized shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and body wash smelled fantastic. Trevor at the front desk was so charming and helpful! Really, an amazing stay!

We were upgraded to a king suite which was wonderful for our four night stay. Great facilities, a grab & go breakfast in reception and a good pub for dinner across the road.

Parking is $10 per night which was not advertised

Good that pub serves breakfast and nice that in hotel muffins fruit and coffee. Parking rates great value and nicely lit secure Parking

There was an issue with housekeeping not understanding we were 3 adults and never had the right number of boath towels or didnt have certain towels in the bathroom, for example hand cloths or bath mat.

Clean and functional hotel. The complimentary muffins and coffee in the morning were a great touch. I picked the hotel for the location so that we could access Victoria, Sooke and Malahat and thought the hotel would be basic but it was so tasteful, comfortable and clean it exceeded my expectations. Great value for money.

Great location to our family. Underground locked parking for guests. Great size room but it may be time to paint rooms nice neutral grey to freshen things up.

Didnt have cutlery or plates for at least two people and only had coffee for one night and we were there for 2. Cleaning staff should have caught that the shower door was not working;.if you closed the door it was difficult to open.
