Great location with restaurant, bar, and coffee shop attached! Everything is in walking distance. Coffee shop was really good and very cute patio set up. View from our room was nice but there is a new building being built across the street that will unfortunately block the mountain and lake view.

Bed was very hard, no fridge in room (although there is a shared fridge in guest lounge), and walls are very thin. We were woken up early on our last day by a couple beside us who were quite loud about their 'alone time'. Free parking is also very limited in the back but we did get lucky to get a spot.

I have stayed in this hotel before and so knew what I was getting. It is a renovated hotel in a centrally located older building but the renovations have been done well and the rooms are clean and well maintained. It lacks an elevator which is a little difficult for the disabled person but the staff were superb in helping me with my luggage. The price is appropriate for the accommodation. I should also mention that the staff in the restaurant were extremely helpful and kind when I went for dinner after fasting for two days.

I have no complaints.

Really nice and tastefully decorated hotel. It is located right in the center and has a large parking lot. It does not offer breakfast, however it provides complimentary coffee and has an excellent café right next door, as well as a nice pub inside. But we would like to say a few words for the wonderful staff who helped us so much in a complicated situation we found ourselves in, welcomed us and helped us with maximum availability. Thank you very much!

The staff was great. Matt checked us in and got as rooms next to each other. He was very friendly and explained events that were happening in Nelson that night. Justine on the night shift was also very helpful. She tried to get the heater working in one of our rooms, but it didn't work so she brought extra blankets (it wasn't cold enough to switch rooms). She also got my brother-in-law some coffee when there upstairs lounge was out. The location is great. Shopping and restaurants nearby (not counting the restaurants on-site). Very close to the Baker street Street Fair.

The rooms are upstairs and there is no elevator. I didn't notice that in any of the listings, my elderly brother-in-law could barely manage the steps. We were only there for one night, so he got by. But for people that can't climb stairs, they should be notified.

Seriously awesome location. Great sports bar downstairs...AMAZING restaurant connected.. Steakhouse is cost expected for the excellent quality of the food.. Location is epic for being able to enjoy the center of town. Parking can be tricky, but the staff in all areas of the hotel are friendly and helpful.

I'm an early-ish sleeper. I've stayed twice and would stay again. However, it is downtown located with music that does play loudly well into the night.. especially on the weekend. Plus the walls are pretty thin, so if you have amorous neighbors or need a good restful night sleep I would suggest some good earplugs.

Nearly everything about the hotel was very nice to excellent. The highlight was definitely the location as you could walk to EVERYTHING. They had their own sports bar which was excellent as well as a steakhouse (we did not eat there) and a coffee shop next door, 30 seconds away. 50 other restaurants were within a 5 minute walk. The hotel was updated, trendy and well equipped with a commercial ice maker, kitchen area to store your food as well as a "lounge" and outside patio to relax.

The rooms are tight...at least for mountain bikers and the parking lot for the hotel has 10-12 spaces tops.

The hotel was located right downtown which was convienent for shopping. the hotel had a large coffee shop, steakhouse and a sportsbar. Used the sportsbar and coffeeshop which were great and reasonable priced

We ended up on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator. There are alot of homeless in the area. To be fair they never brothered us but we aren't used to seeing open drug use. We did have to walk past them at night but had no problems at all.

Great location, really friendly desk staff who could direct us to anything we asked about from specific bars to the street car. They kindly checked we had reservations for the hot springs we were going off next to visit- really great place to stay. Bonus kitchen facilities in the centre of the hotel, we didn’t use this but can see how useful that would be for travelling families on a budget. Photos of cottonwood falls, vegan charcuterie board at the witches children, fab music shop and the pitchfork for brunch. Thank you.

I would have liked the option of breakfast, but really, everything is in walking distance in Nelson.

Location is perfect and central within walking distance of most of the town. There is an excellent coffee shop in the building as well as a steakhouse. If you want other culinary experiences there are lots within a few blocks. off street parking and the rooms are modern and have a nice aesthetic.

There are only a few floors but I don't think they had a elevator or if so it was not operating. So had to carry skis up the stairs to bring them in overnight.

View over the water but they're building something there just now. Comfortable, centrally located, close to shops, staff helpful. Good we were close to the kitchen area where we could make tea/coffee when we wanted.

I'm not quite sure why it is called the Adventure Hotel. The recommended breakfast cafe didn't look too easy with benches. We oldies need a proper chair. But we found some nice alternatives one street up for breakfast.
